I love all those details in GT7 one of more amazing is when your car has „yellow” front lights and you crash them there will be white light coming from parts where yellow surface came off.
that's cool
There are a lot more the vehicle mileage on the dash actually works
yeah, but even forza does that and pgg never put effort into their cars and models
gt7 is a masterpiece in terms of vehicles, if the rest of the game was as thought out, no other franchise would have a chance to compete
PD make real life dashes for Nissan Toyota so PD dont only make "Games" PD also i think did the Afeela Sony / Honda collaboration
@@mclarenf1lm374 only some vehicle have functional odometer in forza horizon / motorsports meanwhile gran turismo 7 has every vehicle with functional odometer even old cars with crono guauge works
@@antwango well pd has close relationship with various japanese manufacture
They did that even in GT4. It's been a regular feature in GT
One thing I noticed with the rain as well, is the crowd starts wearing rain ponchos!
GT7 missing Top5:
-Shuffle/Random Races
-Touge
-Driving on map
-Camera angle where a-pillar isn't in the way
-Hud info partial turn on/off
Shuffle races on GT5 were the most fun online races ever, i can remember my friends getting mad cuz the game sorted out muscle cars for 500pp loool everyone stuck at 190kph
Tyre wear is insane. Never noticed!!
Wow a game in the ps5 era has visible tire wear! Insane!
@@rickrolled7930no need to be a jerk
@@nathanthomson777 how was i a jerk? We shouldn't be amazed by such small things in 2024, i didn't insult no one.
@@rickrolled7930take your meds
@@CarloPlaya ok i really don't understand what you guys are so pissed off about. Visible tyre wear in 2024 is not insane, f1 games had it for years. It should be the standard for racing games.
After a daily race , we hear the metallic crackling of the engine exhaust manifold as it cools
PS VR2 makes Gran Turismo unrival then unmatched, driving inside of the vehicle is an experience like no other. I would love to get into one of your lobbies one day and tour one of my many beautiful custom cars amongst you fellas. I even created a Florida highway patrol charger for some fun.
Yes! I had PSVR2 as well. Almost felt real. Super cool. I had to get rid of it, though. It kept making me sick lmao motion sickness is real!
I recommend buying bass shakers or haptic pad next. Combining this with a wheel and psvr2 is insane!
@@iamDragMe I have a question you should do a list of what gran turismo need or need something to be changed or replace or brought back from the other gran turismo game's
@@hunteriggy2762tbh I’ve heard enough negatives about gt7, reason why I like this types of videos is that they show the love put into this game
@@iamDragMe I almost had the same issue … was so so sick first few plays …. Then I jumped on and said to myself oh well I’ll play one last time before I pawn it off to someone and I did not get sick and have not been sick once … it’s like once your brain clicks it clicks it’s just a matter of time when that would happen …. But I am bad with motion sickness in general very real
I just found a crazy detail that's easy to miss. In the car customization shop when the camera is panning around your car, there's a clear cover over the rear license plate. I just saw it in the Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera
I knew quite a few of these already, but the last one about the exhaust surprised me with how much small details like that there are! I also noticed the exhaust actually changed visually
Nice video!
The level of detail and attention to detail is insane! A game for enthusiasts!
Thank you for this very interesting video 👍
With a sound bar and sub woofer, you can hear the bass from dance music when going past the camping sections of the nurburing on replays..
The clock on the dash is correct for your area too.
It takes time data from your PS5 that's why!
Only in some cars
Can you show dampening adjustments from softest to stiffest while the car drives over a curb to show how the suspension interacts with it?
Cool video man, community needs more like that
Not gonna lie I appreciate the info you put out…u gave more info than the update itself! More than half of this stuff I didn’t even know!! Especially the visual tire wear!😮
come on man thats your ignorance! most of these details are well known PD and GT selling points! Some of these details have left or have returned to GT7.... Rain still hasnt bettered GT5 for example.... it was toned down as the rain slowed gt5 to about 20fps!
So from what i know and seen from car games from GT5 till now i think Driveclub still holds the crown..... And GT5 had even better physics based representation of rain..... but Driveclubs overall rain and thunder and just weather system is unmatched!..... i have no idea about ACC or any other PC based sim....... I know Project Cars 2 got really close and in some cases looked as good as GT....
PD just need to implement an all weather system into GT.... i think we will get something like that next update or even next console..... they never increased the car count so far yet on PS5 to keep things stable i think... i was expecting at least a 30+ car grid but i think that along with adaptive real time weather and day night as well as some form of realtime damage modelling as well as Sophy 3.0 as well as 120fps!!!! is abit too much for currently!
realtime weather and day night should be possible currently! weve had it in previous GTs, Sophy takes up alot of resources because learning AI etc
@@antwango erm driver club rain is exurated while the rain in gran turismo 7 is realistic including the wind and wet and dry spots similar to pc2
You should drive at night, on dark courses and if you have very bright headlights you can see the prism effect in the light casted. Very noticeable on the outer extremities of the main light beam. Also in replays you can see it on the road surface not too far ahead of the car. Another thing, your headlights casts shadows which also project on the environment. This effect is heavily noticeable especially in the nurb at night.
I just wish the headlight shadows were higher quality. The shadows don’t actually project onto the environment or cast onto surfaces - it’s essentially just a low quality transparent black decal that that hovers around whatever object is casting the shadow. It can look really awful sometimes.
aftermarket headers also makes your car louder (more noticeable in the first person interior view)
GT's lighting is and always has been insane, but I really wish they'd tone down the nuclear sun glare. It's way too overdone.
You seen the sun lately ? Literally looks like that
Tyre texture changes when they're worn out, different engine sound after swap u can find in other games too... and other games allow to operate light by urself, not automatically :P
the clock on most of these cars are one of the most impressive littlest detail i find amazing, ya it might not be useful but still cool to look at
Fun fact forza motorsports 7 had working clocks in there cars
I love the details of GT7 and a lot of times I'm not even trying to accomplish anything, I just play just too watch. Another detail that folks may miss is from time to time the driver checks his mirrors. You can really see this if you watch the replay of the cockpit view where it showed the driver driving. Also some times if you are pulling up on the side of a car as your racing pay attention to the driver of that car he some times look at you as you fly by. This was built on the previous gen and ported over and enhanced on current gen. Can you imagine if the game was solely built for current gen. You have to appreciate and give kudos to the guys at Polyphony, this is what's it's about, actually showing your customers that they care and have a passion for making games.
i was making photos from drift sessions just a few days ago. tyre details are amazing!
i enjoyed this vid
part 2 plz
If the race has fuel consumption. The fuel gauge in the car will work. Not only that but it's also accurate on how much fuel the car has
The tyre wear is great in an open wheel car, as I can quickly see when the tyres are looking worse for wear without glancing at the tyre gauges in an intense race. Other things I find impressive is the glare on the windscreen which changes when you move your head in VR.
If only fh5 / and fm8 cared this much
Horizon isn't a Sim racer it's a arcade racer that's open world can't compare that to a closed track game 😂
Awesome video ❤
WOW! Insane details indeed.
#6 Ridge Racer on PS2 already had this feature.
Tune engines with modified exhausts shoot flames at night only. Sometimes, orange flames and other times blue flames
To be fair GT5/6 had most of these features. Especially smoke, exhaust(even if it was bad), mileage, lights, wipers and more. Nobody paid attention back then, but the smoke show on PS3 is unrivaled.
One of the best attention to detail gt7 does is that exhaust both changes visually and sound different after upgrades, forza ex those not do this, many other upgrades changes the sound in gt7, some more than others, but the attention to detail is unreal, imagine what gt8 could do maybe we would be able to have even more customize options for exhausts i hope they build on it,
Maybe have more functional aeroparts, 2 step antilag that are on rally group a machine, front aero canards
@@olavofernandes7286What do you mean functional? That do function, you increase or lower down force with it. No idea what on Earth you're going on about though!
@@evilformerlys4704 like vented bonet, side front canard similar to time attack cars it was in gran turismo 6 but missing here more aerokits/body kits etc
Good video but whats your graphic settings ? It looks so bright and clear
Fkn hell , the real time on car's clock it's mad
@dragme funny thing is that I already knew all that stuff, but great vid though 🤣😁
Thanks 😅
Kool set 😎 up
Another cool detail is the short loss of grip when dipping into the grass or dirt lol when on a race I always ask why my car handles like a pig after a mistake. I quickly forget how well detailed this game is
Love this game
In Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast, you can see the brake caliper move onto the disk when you apply the brakes... Ha! Dreamcast 1 - 32 PlayStation
I really love Gran Turismo, this sim is must be available on PC, because many simracers have a good cockpits and there are buildet on PC platform. I ready to buy this game, but i have no reason to buy a console
the callipers when they brake
The clocks in the cars showing the accurate time.
Not All cars
how did you get so many engines? 3:36
Here's an example of how good the sound in GT7 is: at 6:10 my partner complained that some idiot was doing a burnout outside our place 😅
I dunno, some cars still sound like classic Gran Turismo vacuum cleaners, nothing like their real life counterparts. I was disappointed by LFA and Carrera GT.
@@kelseysvenson8544 neither of the 2 you mention sounds like vacuum cleaners and no other car for that matter, just issues with some muffled sounds in chase cam. the lfa is the best in modern gaming even better than ac with mods. Gt7 have the most accurate sounding lfa in a long time guess you never heard how the real car sounds like. But in fact gt7 lfa is very accurate to the real thing. Last gt game that had vacuum cleaners was gt6.
This why Iove gt7 a lot because is more realistic then forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport 8
Forza 4 was the top of the mountain for me
Horizon isn't trying to be realistic it's clearly labeled a arcade racer 😂
Very good video but u should cut the music when you want your viewers to hear something
smthing i dont like is that some cars (like 1/2) doesn t sound like in real life
I haven't tested this, but I have wondered if using a richer fuel mix changes the flames that spit from exhaust pipes. Wouldn't surprise me if the attention to detail extended to that.
It does
How do you use a richer fuel mix
@@jaydencordell8447in the fuel mapping during a race. Its set at the richest setting at 1 and lean at 6
crazy that ac also has most of these
No it does not ac losers just get ready made car models lol
@@olavofernandes7286 spoken like someone who has no clue what theyre on about
To be truly authentic the Supra headlights should have stayed in the off position through the tunnel
So much detail PD should just make GT simulator put this detail to good use
When you stand still press the brake and tap handbrake once it will toggle the handbrake
The clock and temperature on the dashboard are both accurate to your current present location but the Daytime Running Lights aren’t on for the majority of the cars.
Not all cars clocks are working properly
Another insane details:
- you can actually drive cars
- when you drive a car wheels really spin
- if you hit the brake button, in most cases your speed will be reduced!
Stay tuned for more incredible details🤯🤯🤯
Ever other detail that you mentioned is cool, except the exhaust. Other games had done that already.
Nope gran turismo 7 does it difrent than the other games also every exuaust model is highly detail even the 3 performance exhaust pipe even the flames will be difrent with difrent performance upgrade and difrent exhaust
To be fair almost every detail here can be found in other racing games.
Only nfs is doing it, and what cool about it with gt7 is that the exhaust changes when you upgrade it, in the simcade space their is no one doing it besides gt7.
I’ve been a GT fan since it came out, never would I have ever thought Forza could even compete with it.
But in Forza Motorsport 2 they allowed engine swaps, while the GT equivalent out at the time had most of the cars sounding the same.
A generic organ type of sound. Hard to explain it. I remember how accurate Forza had the VTEC crossover audio. GT took ages to catch up. That was back in 2007
The auto headlights in the tunnels/dark were done by test drive unlimited on Xbox 360
The dirt on the tyres was done as far back as Sega Rally 2 I think.
The headlights though… 😍 Gran Turismos definitely look amazing as explained in the video, but all other details are commonplace in games like Assetto Corsa.
Still, Gran Turismo is the originator so it’s still good to have a peek at things like this.
Vids good but nothing insane, I guess I got baited
@@AFR1i nobody is doing what gt7 does with like the details on exhaust, every time you upgrade the exhausts changes visually. No other sim or simcade title has this. Upgrade parts changes the sounds only fh5 does this as well. Ac does neither of those 2 features. Full vr support for gt7 is also a revolution on console.
Strange u didn't mentioned that tire wear not only visible but also may differ depending on side which is more teared down.
Wish they would do the same for the engine sounds
Engine sound authentic it depends what performance upgrade you install
At 1:18 is that an EG9 civic? I thought the game only had the EK9
It's a modified SEMA car. It was added a few updates ago.
On many cars on which you made a number plate you forgot to put one in front of the car as it is mandatory in most countries of the world, it's only a couple of states in the US of A that don't have a mandatory front number plate.
Pit stops have one glaring problem. The pit stops of your competitors, shows the tire they are taking off, rather than the tire they are putting on. Ex. Dry versuses wets. When you stop, you get the right tire, but the video of the stop shows them putting on the same type you had rather than what you chose. Again, wets versuses dry.
That's true for your own pit stop as you can't see the other cars pit in the first place. Have you even played GT7? 🤔
If you look at the leader board during the race, you can see when they stop, but the tire they show, is the one coming off, not the new tire going on. During the next race when it starts to rain, watch them go in. It will show dry tires even though you know they chose wets. On their next stop you will see the wets come off. Exactly backwards
Well... High beam isn't quite an extraordinary feature. The Crew Motorfest has it as well. High beam even automatically turns on, when you leave a populated area. Some cars in GTA V also have separate high beam headlights.
This video is like three, four times too long. Who needs multiple examples? Also most of these are so obvious you'd have to be stupid to miss them
sorry if this is a weird question on this video specifically, but have any of you ever tried GT7 on PS Remote play??? I only have a gaming pc and Sony cucking us from this amazing masterpiece is making me want to play it sooner than later - my question is: does remote play handle GT7 quite well or should I not even bother trying to get my friends login info so I can buy this game and finally try it???
あとは走行距離計が機能していることですかね
Sweet
that was not a stock exhaust on the R33, it never pops and bangs from factory
True the user put racing exhaust but I prefer semi racing exhaust pipe
From the outside view like at 4:15 how do you rotate the car? Do you have to use the hand controller or can it be done with a G29 wheel?
No interior Customization like the gauges from gt6?
Nope unfortunately
GT7 is good at details imo. but sadly i dont have a ps5 or ps4 to play it
I do not get tire smoke on mine?
If you manage to miss these 10 details, _that_ would be insane.
I never noticed tyre wear b4....also i wish we had the option to turn lights on/ off whenevs we felt like it
Most of these details should not be somethimg we are amazed by. In 2024, they should be the standard for racing games. The problem is we have games like fm8 compared to which gt7 is a masterpiece.
Fm 23 is garbage, not a masterpiece in anyway, you cant change exhausts in fm either like in gt7, in the simcade space gt7 is the only one that does it, attention to detail when it comes to the cars is unmatched by any other game, gt7 also has full vr support witch forza still dosent have, gt7 offer a lot that other racing games are not doing, fm 23 was released almost 2 years after gt7 and it has a lot less attention to detail for the cars campared to gt7, just wait for gt8 and pd will just build on it even more. Gt7 is much more of a masterpiece than fm 23,
@@andreasmoller9798 i meant gt7 is a masterpiece compared to forza. Forza is a joke.
However, the fact that in 2024 the only simcade that can change exhausts is gt7 shows how much racing games have stagnated (not gt7, other racing games and the whole genre)
@@rickrolled7930we need more competetion for sure.
What are these out of the city tracks that you were driving on?? 😳
Wut about Driveclub my guy?
I think it can even surpasses GT7 in terms of details
I think u should make a vid on the game (if you had the game 😂😂😂)
Yeah, this is a far superior game compared to FM. shame is too expensive in my country
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure forza 5 does most of that
Why so many popcorn sounds?
Wiper speed is ‘INSANE’?
I can't afford this game yet😆
Headlights turning on in tunnels, engine swaps changing the engine sound and upgrading the exhaust making the exhaust sound different are hardly "insane" details.
Forza would never
I don't care if I missed any details in this game! I did not miss any of them!
Thats on you then but gt7 does a lot of details specially on the cars that no one else is doing, specially on the simcade to sim market
@@andreasmoller9798
What do you mean it's on me?
@@andreasmoller9798
Just answer me! What do you mean that's on me?!
As much as I like how detailed is this game, I still kinda don't like how they use cinematic pit stop, instead of real time pitstop. In normal race, or online races, it's kinda looks goofy, seeing my opponent plopped outta nowhere. Kinda shame, considering previous gen GT done something like real time pitstop
And also catch up race on single player. I'm just tired with that excessive format of race, to think GT praise realism, except their race format
pf try assetto corsa with mods in VR even fck hands works u can turn on youtube in bmw M4 or any other car with touch screen xD
Asseto corsa gets ready made cars not build from scratch lol
This game is awesome. Teslas are boring.

no traces from tires, no exhaust flames without nitro, no rear drive sound, fake reflections on opponent cars. many even very old games has it and it's much more important than this small details
You need to learn how to use punctuation correctly as well as capitalization. This is a terrible assault on the English language. Forget the garbage you're claiming.
everything on your comment is incorrect... wtf
@@gabriel99nv can you justify more than just with wtf?
@@Takihiki yeah bro check it, tires leave traces and they are pretty detailed, but it takes a second,
what is no rear drive sound? It has sound anywhere...
fake reflections on opponent cars - this is a limitation, no ray-tracing on gameplay. maybe on PS5 Pro or PC.
Exhaust Flames are actually the most detailed in games. They can be red, orange or blue/orange depending on the engine and exhaust system. Also the Turbo has impact on how they look, also anti-lag has impact on how they look too...
GT7 should go to PC, so you folk can understand how detailed it is...
