Maglink is primarily for third party devices as the SIMAGIC QR transfers both data and power from the wheel base to the hub, although I think Maglink may be a requirement to access SimHub, although not 100% sure on that.
Def not the most custimzable. Purely because of the limitations if buttons etc. But its very nice! Now i want to see an upgraded high end version. I dont want them purely turning into a budget brand. They are stealing alot of fanatec customers. Its like 50% of there business now. Which I get it, there pockets def love it. But simagic was known for close to simucube quality for less money. Thats still what I want from them or I will stick with asetek and simucube mostly. The entire 2025 lineup was shown at the expo from what tyler said so yes the active pedals will be high end but nothing else is. Even the new fx pro is a neo variant and much more plastic with corners cut in materials. Dont like that. Simagic doesnt need to lose what made them. There quality for price. Dont worry, I will still be buying this but yeah i do not want simagic to turn into the next fanatec. Even fanatec is about to come out with more high end gear from what corsair said that will be there focus at first. To bring out some bangers. Was just shocked to see all budget and mid range stuff. Also i hope they bring out that insane clean designs that are minimalistic and pure quality and clean. All alu and real cf kind of stuff again. Shifters like on the fx pro etc. Not only dampened which is what all there wheels will be this gen. Is we only praise them they will follow this direction and cut costs and quality. Its just how it is.

Did you have any flex in the wheel? i saw another guy who had abunch of flex from this neo hub\
Honestly nothing. More likely for flex to creep in through the quick release or wheel rim, but the wheel hub itself is rock solid.
If I use the hub on a Simagic wheelbase, will I have any use for the maglink?
