- Ronnie was adopted into the Blair family in 2019. While recovering in the hospital from stab wounds and burns inflicted by his biological father, the 12-year-old asked Hillsborough County Sheriff Mike Blair to watch a movie. Five months later, the Blair family grew from seven to eight. Ronnie O’Neal III was convicted of killing his son’s mother and disabled sister, stabbing his son, and setting their house on fire in 2018. He was sentenced to three life terms in prison. Young Ronnie is now thriving!

I prayed for this kid so many times and I will never stop praying for him he needs as many as possible
Thank you for praying. I had no idea of the situation. But I definitely believe in the power of prayer. I know that baby girl is safe in the arms of Jesus as I know he has a place for our precious people with special needs. I hope their mother is there too. And I’m so thankful this young man now has a wonderful family and a bright future.

Let’s not exploit this young man. Please make sure he gets the counseling he needs so he learns how amazing his life really is. I’m so grateful for this young man and this family and I truly pray that he continues to move towards the light in his heart and not be limited by this story.
Very true. I’m so glad he has a family around him but hope they don’t underestimate the pain this child must hold, support, therapy and love will help so much. His poor mum must have felt so desperate not knowing what was going to happen to her children as she died. I think as long as they have given a little to the press they seem like a family who will get him out the limelight and fingers crossed they do, he deserves peace and no further intrusion, he’s not a story, he’s a little person.

From what I understand, maternal grandparents have some disabilities and despite wanting to care for him, couldn't. That doesn't mean they don't love and support him and that they aren't victims in this too. I would hope adoptive family would have Ronnie maintain a relationship with his remaining maternal family. Can't say the same for the paternal ones.
I hope he gets a chance to see them as well both sides. Its NOT his grandparents faught on his father's side. They had nothing to do with this. As for his father, he is where he needs to be. Praying for your healing little prince.

What that child went through is beyond words, it's so unfair he has to carry those memories his original father forced onto him, thank goodness for people with hearts to give this young man a chance to take his life back. He's very strong for his age.
He stabbed his son and set him on fire and shot him it's a miracle he's alive. Im glad it was the officer who seen the attack and was able to rescue Ronnie that has adopted him .

With his sister’s severe autism & special needs, she couldn’t run away or even beg that monster not to hurt her. That haunts me. It’s just a miracle her brother survived & so wonderful that he has a loving family to help him cope with what happened to him. His future is now very bright.

I truly hope they get that child long term counseling so that the violent cycle doesn’t continue when he gets older because as we all know by now, violence is a learned behavior. I’m glad someone stepped in and decided to help him because foster care will not rehabilitate children from such traumas.

But he got three life sentences plus 60 years in prison without parole. Death is too easy, let him suffer every day of his life with daily beatings and tortures. He will never have a happy life for what he did to his son’s mother and sister!

Until the picture of his original psycho dad was on the screen, I wasn't aware that Ronnie was the same brave, well-mannered young man who had taken the stand to get justice for his mom and sister. So grateful that he found a good home and family.
This child now has a chance at a decent life. His family look so happy he is part of it. I wish him well for the future.
