Great podcast! Question for y’all. Aaron was talking about getting private access in iowa. How would you recommend going about getting permission for private land? I’ve been doing state land the last few years and haven’t been having much luck.
If your a deer hunter and plan on having kids make sure you plan on the birthday being around March / April so wife doesn’t need help as much around October
My wife wants a second and we are waiting to start until mid march at least. My oldest brother has a daughter born November 14th. Poor planning on his part.
You’re gonna wanna hit Alabama, Mississippi Louisiana for the December January February ruts. We have some deer here that’s just going good at the end of February first of March. I’ve seen bucks chasing opening weekend of turkey season March 15th. Alabama has tutting deer from the end of September through mid March depending on region as to what time they’re actually going but you can hunt rutting deer from beginning to end of season here. Georgia where I live now it’s mid November to mid December and over back in my home town in Alabama it’s mid December through 1st January and all of south Alabama is January through February.
