Fishing for small-eyed rays Llanrhystud beach in wales

- In this video I decided to fish Llanrhystud beach for the Small-Eyed-Rays. It was a success. We caught the target species among other species. It was a very good session and really enjoyed by both me and Mark. I hope you enjoy the video.
My recommendations for this location are listed below which is my personal preference, but others may prefer other baits and conditions
. RIGS
. Long pulley rigs
. Up and over rigs
. Two hook flappers
. One up one down
. BAITS
. Sand Eel
. Squid
. Bluey
. Ragworm / for smaller species
These would be my go-to baits on a Small-Eyed-Ray session on this beach, plus you have a good chance of the Bullhuss and Bass.
. CONDITIONS
West or N - Westerly wind fish best I find, with nice surf tables rolling in over low tides. I personally fish 2 hour either side of low. I prefer bigger tides say 4.5m upwards.
. DIRECTIONS
Follow the A487 from north or south into Llanrhystud, look for the holiday park Pengarreg
(((SY23 5DJ)))) KEEP LEFT and follow the single-track road to the left of the holiday park main entrance. Follow that road to the end. Its 0.7 miles to the beach car park which is free. It is Stoney so be careful with lowered vehicles.

I will do more descriptions like this for marks. However, if I find any local marks ABUSED I.E in a mess with rubbish and left-over line and hooks I WON'T do it anymore, that will be it. So, I will see how this goes first and if everything seems ok, I will do more for you.

Quick tip, set camera up on other side of the rods so the light is on you not behind to reduce contrast.

Thanks Ian. Yes it was facing the sun so made it dark unfortunately I realised as soon as I started editing and was kicking myself. My monknash video I did I did mention in that video that the last one was dark. Not done videos for a while so you just forget things.
