Great video broski! Just a heads up that Flog2 uses Rec2020 input instead of DCI P3. Won't equate to that much a difference visually, but should keep any nasty artifacts from popping accidentally when moving things around.
Ayyy Preciate that bro! Love that you watched it! Also I see upon further investigation of the article I was referencing, it’s clear that you’re correct! I’m going to pin your comment and thanks for the heads up!
I think a good workflow with this is to split the powergrade : - set the "first" part with camera exposure/con etc... without the look part, in a new powergrade, that you apply on each shot - set in a group the "look part" of the powergrade, group where all the shots are gathered, so when you change the look it automatically changes for all the shots.
Love your titles and your style of video man. Super peaceful. Thanks for the cool content, +1 sub. I'll be following along, keen to see where you take it!
yessssssssirrrrr Im on cineprint right now and I've been loving it so much. Also I realised you are using the P3 DCI input color space for Flog2. Ive read somewhere that its best to use Rec 709? What are your suggestions and reasons why you chose P3 DCI instead?
ayyyy let's go! also I honestly use P3 DCI because I read in Fujifilm's document about flog2 that it's DCI P3 color space. I'll paste a link below! I don't know if it will work but worth a shot dl.fujifilm-x.com/support/lut/F-Log2_DataSheet_E_Ver.1.0.pdf
@@HasyirIbrahim you bet! also just had a friend tell me that it actually needs to be rec 2020 instead of P3 DCI and after I read the document more clearly it feels like that's correct so just a heads up!
I've been exclusively using Cineprint16 this year and it's been incredible. I also use the cam exp node to bring down the highlight slider so hopefully we're doing it right haha
what are your color management settings when using cineprint? I've been playing around with some settings but haven't landed on anything i really like yet
Yeah filmbox is by far the best. I have tried them all and filmbox just does it better. Most expensive emulation but it gives you that magic moment when you say. Thank god I found this.
I'm actually making a video about how to get the most out of your fuji camera but the short answer is that I set my zebras at 80% and then usually keep my highlights right under that zebra mark
Hi! Why did you put ‘P3-DCI’ as your input color space? I have a Fujifilm XS-20 which is the baby version of your XH2s and I’m confused with what to put for my CST. I also have CinePrint16 so this video is really helpful & awesome.

Any suggestions or help? Thanks man
not super familiar with sony lenses! I would suggest looking at lenses that are single digit focal lengths like an 8mm. I can't say for sure if it will give you this look but that's probably a good place to start!
Hey Edward, me again :) I have a question... I recently bought the sony a7c as my first camera and I've been shooting some slog2 footage to practice my colorgrading but I noticed weird artifacts. That's because it's an 8bit camera... I knew it was an 8bit camera but I thought it wouldn't be a big problem, but now I kind of regret buying the camera. I'm only 16 years old so I don't have the money to buy a new one and I don't want to buy a new camera. I really wanted to buy Filmvision V2 by Serr, but now I'm afraid it wouldn't work on 8bit footage and it would be a waste of money... I don't know if you have an 8bit camera and would be able to test it, but do you think Filmvision V2 would work on an 8bit camera? Thanks for your help in advance!🙏
For some reason the Sony slog and gamut make it so damn saturated to the point where it feels unusable. I'm not a colorist by any means but I wish a Sony user would make a video like this to help out

How come there is no cst at the end of the node tree to rec709 and gamma 2.4? Since the cst in Cineprint converts its to Arri.
Mind me asking what lens are you using in the intro?
Don’t mind at all! Using a canon efs 10-18
