I have a Sony ZV-1, trying to film log and then colour grading with cineprint16 just looks poor, not sure if it’s just the camera or settings I’m missing ?

I’ve been with sony for the past year as my first camera brand. Recently using the a6400 but wanted an upgrade. The sx20 and its ability to shoot with those film recipes has sold me completely so I made the switch. Waiting for it to arrive but I can’t wait

Interesting experiment, definitely loved the cargo strap idea, but if you're on public transport - that's too much stuff. If you're in a car, this will be tricky to get in/out, so a bigger case or a combination of case and tripod bag would be better. I like a combo of the small peli and a big tripod travel cases, you can put tons of stuff in there besides the tripod. Anyway, cool video, made me think, keep 'em coming! Where do you get the music for these edits from? Always nice tracks, not too distracting, but also not boring, etc.

I'm a fan of the doctor bag or tool bag approach, take the whole camera package assembled as ready as possible (minus battery or mic if needed) and just pull out. If you value speed over anything else this is the way.

i knew 6 seconds in that all of that was not going to fit in the case lol It's a good experiment though, but if i ever have to bring that much gear (i haven't yet) i think i'd just get a cart that fits in my car, and fit gear into camera and tote bags to easily move from car to cart and back.

I need to do my flight case video. I can get three stands, light diffusion, two lights, audio rig, and extension cables, while keeping my camera/lens in a backpack, on me at all times.

May i suggest carbon fiber reverse folding light stands? Theyre pretty light and they fold down more compactoy than traditional light stands.

i say just get another smaller case for the extra stuff like the cables and whatnot - i dont want to be fumbling with all the extra heavy stuff hanging on the outside

I used to do a set up where I would use one stand for a light and soft box that i would also clamp my boom pole to. didn't always work, was kind of limited in how you could position the light. All the cables would usually go in my backpack, which I needed for laptop and other bits. I reckon you were quite strict with the rules on this one but i reckon realistically you would be travelling with the peli and a rucksack. I liked the bungee cord set up on this though. what were the bungees? they looked great really hard core, also what were the metal loops you drilled in for the bungees to attach to they looked great.
