I really like this fight! I see you too try to align DoG horizontally to you when he is dashing, would you say his vertical dashes are certain death? (For me at least were the harder ones to dodge, specially on quick succesion during the second phase)

My only gripe with this is that it seems repetitive (though this is a quirk with most bosses) and it doesn’t use it’s body much at all. Like why have a worm boss that long if it’s first 10 segments are the only threatening thing
generally, the fight is balanced to be fairly short (around 2 minutes) so its not that bad imo. Besides that, I wouldn't mind his cooler attacks being put earlier in the fight so they get to shine a bit :p

Neither fight is *that* good, though the one Cata showed was at least respectable. It was long, epic and had some cool stuff. This version of DoG has a few cool attacks as well, but it hardly ever uses them.
Use The Momentum Capacitor, which is a Hardmode tool purchased from Bandit for 60 Gold after all three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. While using the Momentum Capacitor, your top speed will continuously and uncontrollably increase.

in p1 vertical dash is managable but p2 isn't, as far as I tried

Maybe it could attempt to whip the player with its tail (the end of the worm)
Its the "Devourer" of Gods which makes sense lore wise but gameplay wise maybe not so much yea
