I've been a Bears fan since I started watching football in 1985. I'm a Steelers fan now. Chicago did Fields dirty and wasted the start of his career. I'm glad he's finally with an organization that knows what they're doing. Fields can be something special and a lot of talking heads have underestimated his ceiling because of poor play with a team that gave him an offensive line ranked anywhere from 25th to dead last in pass protection all three years, a receiving corps that was dead last his second year and a defense that was atrocious until Sweat showed up, and an offensive coordinator who spent the first half of the second and third season trying to call plays for Fields like he was still working Aaron Rodgers.
If Chicago would have kept Fields, they could traded away the first overall pick again, still got Odunze and/or MHJ, and still had picks left to better address their O-line. Fields would have killed it in Chicago with that receiver room and an upgraded line, but no. They went for a "generational talent" whose numbers in college were inferior to Fields in almost every meaningful statistical category despite playing in softer conferences than Fields did.
I've come to the conclusion I'm a Fields fan first and a Bears fan second. Even when Fields lost, at least it was exciting to watch. There's been a lot of Bears teams in the last 39 years I can't honestly say that about.

Saying he made mistakes isn’t true if you watched the game. The only one you could say is the INT, but it was a really fluke one via a tipped ball and turned into a jump ball.
The incompletions bounced off the receivers. It wasn’t his fault. Pickens and Muth both dropped critical catches. The ball was on the money in both cases.

There’s no universe where Kenny has the upside Justin does idc if you give him Andy Reid. Just stop it.
Not to mention he has a bad attitude and a crybaby demeanor which is why he got shipped out. Remember, he quit on us because of being faced with competition in Russ. Justin on the other hand embraced the challenge and came out on top. GOOD RIDDANCE. Kenny is exactly where he belongs, a BACK UP.

It seems like they are trusting him more each game. If he has another strong game against the Colts it’s a wrap! Pole position only guarantees you good position to start the race. Doesn’t mean you can’t be passed.
