Kindly answer this question, after searching from hundreds of sources i m asking this question: u just said in ur video that an active flood plain is the river bed itself ( which is also written in the ncert,pg 62) and the inactive flood plains are ones which are on the banks (meaning, which are on the sides of river bed and which could extend further as per the energy of the river flow). Now my question is why the *river bed* itself is considered the floodplain. ???? Shouldn't it be like ...that an active flood plain is one when the river keeps on flooding its banks.. and an inactive flood plain is ome when the river rarely (sometimes only) flooding its banks. Kindly answer pls. Thanx

Sir, the portion you explain from 2:26 up till 'Running Water' is missing from my 2019 edition of the book. Can you tell me which edition of the book are you teaching from?
In the book it is written that rivers build the point bars on the convex side while the bank on the concave side erodes rapidly ...but the picture @23:37 depicts a diff case ( kindly clarify please)

I think CBSE should let you write books on geography in your own way for all the students so that you can add more graphics and simple explanation of those jargons which are currently present in Geography books which are making geography a nightmare for all the students out there !
