    At North poles air subsides creating high pressure then how come air from poles rises and go towards sub tropical high ??? To subside with air coming from equatorial?

    • @KimNamjoon-ho9en
      @KimNamjoon-ho9en 3 года назад +5

      It doesn't rise as the air is dense, but it will blow towards the middle latitudes (as air moves from area of high pressure to low pressure) as polar easterlies (as a surface wind). Then when it will reach at 60 degrees latitude, it will become comparatively warmer and will converge with the winds coming from equator and then it will rise.

    • @najmachaudhary9613
      @najmachaudhary9613 5 лет назад +2

      Yes,coriolis force affects only the direction of the wind, it's the pressure gradient (difference in pressure) that affects the both direction and velocity of the wind.

    • @tanianirmal9896
      @tanianirmal9896 3 года назад

      More the pressure gradient,more will be wind velocity.n so due to coriolis force more will be its deflection

    • @SanSha2100
      @SanSha2100 Год назад

      Please understand the difference between Velocity and Speed. Velocity includes Direction as it is vector, Coriolis Force does change velocity. You want to say that it doesn’t change Speed, which is correct.

    I rarely comment on RUclips but I was moved by your teaching, it's true that this channel is highly underrated and you deserve so much more in recognition. I loved these explanations and am already sharing it with all my frnds and frnds of frnds. Please cover complete geography.

    I commend the effort put in the making of the video.. It is THE BEST explanation of the "pressure belt and permanent wind flow" chapter. Thanks a lot.
