    Generally I used to see videos in speed to reduce time and get more information. But in Amit sir videos it’s completely opposite and not able to catch his speed and excessive information. Amit sir 🙏🏼

    @ 9:53 sir ,water vapour converts directly to solid = de- sublimation or deposition
    Sublimation is solid directly converts into gas.

    Sir..If condensation takes place in high pressure zone than how it happens in Troposphere where the pressure is low..(Temperature and pressure decreases with increasing in height as you told).

    I have just started following your video since week and I must say that the explanation and the way of explanation is awesome. You have sound knowledge of geography. I have become fan of your teaching. Hat's off for you. I am preparing for UPPSC 2018 AND I learned a lot from your videos. Thank you very much sir. Sir I have a request , If you can make a video for the factual and map based chapters like major river Dam's, Tiger Reserves, Biospheres , All the passes in himalayas and rearranging them in north to south or east to west and lot of these type of map based questions . It will be very helpful to us.

    It is WEIGHT (it should be MASS because unit of MASS is grams and unit of WEIGHT is NEWTON) of water vapour per unit volume of air and expressed in terms of grams per unit volume

    Sir, Hailstone is not caused because of sublimation, it is caused by freezing of water droplets by multiple up and down movement of driplets up to super cool zone of atmosphere. Frost is the real example of sublimation.

      No air in vacuum so no base material to hold the water vapour....so no evaporation in vacuum then no question of condensation!!

    Only one doubt you made a contradictory statement sir when you said fog is denser than mist where visibility is less than 1 km , however on textbook it is given mist is denser than fog @18:40

    At latitude 35 to 40 degree north & south westerlies flow means they will drop rain at east coast and at 45 to 60 degree north & south also westerlies flow they drop rain in west as explained by you sir and written in book , so how can a same wind depending only on direction of flow show two distinctive characteristics

    At 13:41 you said high pressure area have low temperature and low pressure area have warm temperature. However pressure is directly proportional to temperature.

    between latitudes of 35 degree and 40 degree i think it is the easterly which results in rainfall at east and at higher latitude it is esterly which makes rainfall on west.You have given westerly as the reason for both cases
    Please correct if i am wrong.

    And in contrast 'Deposition' takes place.

    transformation of solid into gas is called sublimation and the reversal is called deposition. but sir here u and in the ncert too call the term "sublimation" the transformation of water vapour to ice and not deposition.. why?

    Dear sir 9:56 you said the gas to solid is sublimation ... but i think it is deposition ... sublimation is solid directly to gas ... please clear the doubt ... 🙏🏻

      Yes, I think either the mistake is with the NCERT or maybe the word can be used for both the phenomena.

    Hey there, your video is really helpful as an introduction for studying for my climate systems and processes exam. Meteorology master student here :) You just confused me for a second by saying the troposphere was high up, like 12 km in the air or so. That's not correct, the troposphere starts at the ground, always, the tropopause (the upper boundary of the troposphere which separates the troposphere from the stratosphere) is variable, though. When there is convection during the daytime due to solar insolation, it is higher than at night. Why it's like that - you explained in the video :) Cheers from Germany and thank you for the video, will check out your other ones, too! Also, following. And you do have a nice voice! Haha
