Thank you so much, hearing that is one of the greatest compliments I can receive! That is my goal to inspire and educate people to get out there and start light painting!
Great tutorial Jason, I have only had a couple of attempts at light writing & now see how easy it can be with a few simple guide points, thank you so much.
Excellent Donna, I hope it helps! Using the ground to write off of really helped me out. At the beach you can even mark the letters in the sand, that really helps too.
Because I am not illuminating myself so I will not be recorded by the camera. Some helpful tips are to wear dark clothing and to not stay in one place too long. The camera will only record what you allow it to see with illumination.
LightPaintingPhoto I didn’t see you use your camera or what settings... I actually had to watch another vid for that... that’s the most confusing part... could you post another video specifically about camera settings??? Maybe? I’m still learning & every camera is different... light painting takes practice to master it’s not easy
Hey@@Nina-vv3ev I mentioned the settings I used and wrote them on screen at the 3:00 Mark, I also wrote it in the description but Ill try to show the camera next time to help it be more clear. I know it can help to have that visual. You are amazing, it would be tough enough to write backward with lights on. Thanks for sharing your secret
Thanks Mark, it gets a lot easier after a few tries.
Mark Ferrell i'm not an expert, but in the photo class i'm taking we write the letters forwards and then flip the photo. makes it a lot easier for us!
Amazing... but how you weren't in the final picture? I mean the result shows the background a little, buy you aren't there.
that is so cool
Thanks Tim, Glad you like it!
you’ve taught me alot the past several months with your youtube videos
Thanks man, very happy to hear that. I have a lot more videos planned so hopefully the learning will continue :) @@timborton8980
Awesome! How do you not get yourself in the final picture?

Just brilliant...Got some of your kit from France this week too, thank you :-) p.s. Do you know if the light whip is gonna be back in stock?
Thank you! The Light Whip is in stock here: lightpaintingbrushes.com/collections/fiber-optic-light-painting-brushes/products/light-whip
@@LightPaintingPhotography Yeah, I just can't afford to have it imported to the UK. It would pretty much double the cost, or more sadly.
@@MrCMHUDDY Those import and shipping fees to the UK suck. We wish there was some way to avoid them...
How often have you fallen over stuff at night?
A LOTTTTT
🙃😊😍
:)
So can I use a normal light I wanna do this so bad😭😭
You can use ANYTHING that emits light to Light Paint!
@@LightPaintingPhotography so I just gotta usea normal light and have to be in dark I’m scared of the ✨dark ✨T_T
