    Reviews of high quality workwear, boots, and clothing for men to help you own better and own less. I've been working with my hands for my entire life as a mechanic, tow truck driver, and eventually a licensed electrician. Being a blue collar guy, I look for certain elements in a product: is it durable? Is it high-quality? Will it perform well over its service life? Whether boots, pants, jackets, or tools I believe it's best to buy once and cry once by getting the best you can afford. With so many options these days, choosing the best product can become a difficult decision, but that's where I come in. Helping you stay stylish, rugged, and handsome.
    I don't care where it's made as long as it's made well and allows you to own less and own better.

    What do we call best? These boots are certainly the most durable. I own Nicks. My everyday boot is Thoroughgood however. The shape and layers of a Thoroughgood fit me best and feel like a firm tennis shoe. I didn't get that after 3 years with my Nicks. I think best is what fits the person and the job.

    Jim Green African Ranger barefoot boot for work. I added a superfeet green insole since they are a wide foot shaped boot. Also, dust off your leather boots with a horse hair bench brush in between cleanings.

    All of these top quality builders don’t offer much in the way of safety toes though… it’s bizarre 🤔

    • @mad0uche
      @mad0uche 6 месяцев назад

      Because they are not safety companies running tests and quality testing their boots. They buy composite and steel toes from a 3rd party and install them in the boots.

    • @emailkenny
      @emailkenny 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@mad0uche Nonetheless, it’d be end game 2B able to order a pair of White’s Perry’s, with a composite toe, in size 12.5, off the rack, ready to ship 🥾🤗

    • @mad0uche
      @mad0uche 6 месяцев назад

      @@emailkenny they are stupid, the Perry is their best selling model and they made the 8 inch version, they made a version with more aggressive tread, and instead of a safety toe or even calastic toe version they made the Perry select and charged more.

      @user-ht1qp3ii8k 5 месяцев назад

      And then add a disclaimer that since the toe boxes are third party, they don’t consider “fit” a warranty issue. Which, at this price point, is a problem

      IKR? White’s Foreman is the only ready to ship steel toe that I see among these guys… & it steel’ takes 2-3 months 4 that boot to ship 🤔 Meanwhile, I copped some Thorogood moc toe safety’s & some Keen sneaker boot safety’s to comply w/ my profession 👨🏽‍🔬

      @CarlMurawski they are the only ones I'd argue have gone down in quality as the 19th century turned if you look at whites jks nicks they have all not stopped adding positives too their products Wesco has if anything only seen what they can change cheaper without being noticed but like all opinions this is just the opinion if some guy cutting trees down in the apalachian mountains 😆
