Reviews of high quality workwear, boots, and clothing for men to help you own better and own less. I've been working with my hands for my entire life as a mechanic, tow truck driver, and eventually a licensed electrician. Being a blue collar guy, I look for certain elements in a product: is it durable? Is it high-quality? Will it perform well over its service life? Whether boots, pants, jackets, or tools I believe it's best to buy once and cry once by getting the best you can afford. With so many options these days, choosing the best product can become a difficult decision, but that's where I come in. Helping you stay stylish, rugged, and handsome.
I don't care where it's made as long as it's made well and allows you to own less and own better. Хобби

Jim green is best boots i have ever had, recently bought a pair Jim green razorback
@user-mt3tp9sv5d I want a pair too, sadly they don't have the Buffalo hide ones in 13 rn
What do we call best? These boots are certainly the most durable. I own Nicks. My everyday boot is Thoroughgood however. The shape and layers of a Thoroughgood fit me best and feel like a firm tennis shoe. I didn't get that after 3 years with my Nicks. I think best is what fits the person and the job.
Jim Green African Ranger barefoot boot for work. I added a superfeet green insole since they are a wide foot shaped boot. Also, dust off your leather boots with a horse hair bench brush in between cleanings.
Been thinking of trying those for around the homestead
I have the regular African Rangers. Best boots I ever bought.
I need steel toe boots for my job at the airport and have been using Wolverine or Timberland pros for years. I get about two years out of each pair before needing to be replaced.
airport? your boots only last 2 years working at an airport? do you condition the leather?
if you're buying boots for a lifetime you gotta remember to clean them or you kill the upper anyway
100% true!
Bro I have been looking for good reviews for boots. I think god provides and the yt algo delivers.
Glad I could help dude! Lots of pay to play BS out there…
if you haven’t bought any yet, buy nicks! worth the wait and the break in. my two cents 💸
Tanker Boots Rock!!!
As someone with a size 18 foot it’s a nightmare just to find boots my size
Wranglerstar would approve
He goes barefoot now, since he went crazy.
I don't see eyelets backed by washers like on a jim green. Even in these expensive boots.
The work boots looked rough for only two months wear…
Thirty seconds of a wet rag and they’d look the same as the first photo. Preconditioning matters
Ill stick with Chippewas
im a tgirl n im just looking for boots that'll last long enough to step on as many other puppygirl tgirls as i am required to
All of these top quality builders don’t offer much in the way of safety toes though… it’s bizarre 🤔
Because they are not safety companies running tests and quality testing their boots. They buy composite and steel toes from a 3rd party and install them in the boots.
@@mad0uche Nonetheless, it’d be end game 2B able to order a pair of White’s Perry’s, with a composite toe, in size 12.5, off the rack, ready to ship 🥾🤗
@@emailkenny they are stupid, the Perry is their best selling model and they made the 8 inch version, they made a version with more aggressive tread, and instead of a safety toe or even calastic toe version they made the Perry select and charged more.
And then add a disclaimer that since the toe boxes are third party, they don’t consider “fit” a warranty issue. Which, at this price point, is a problem
IKR? White’s Foreman is the only ready to ship steel toe that I see among these guys… & it steel’ takes 2-3 months 4 that boot to ship 🤔 Meanwhile, I copped some Thorogood moc toe safety’s & some Keen sneaker boot safety’s to comply w/ my profession 👨🏽🔬
I have to comment about viberg. Basicly have left work boots an there owners, for there more stylish models No longer supporting there heritage. Next pair is franks for me.
😮😮
Viberg has stopped making work boots. 3rd generation only wants to make dress boots, working mans boot built the 80 yr company. Now focused on sidewalk boots.
What about haix and grisport
The midsoles & outsoles on HAIX’s are hard AF 🧱🥵😮💨
@@emailkenny i have armyboots from them
What about hik
You couldn’t wear a single pair of these on an offshore oil rig.
False. If you’re a forest service worker, then yes. Most of us aren’t. There are better options.
Thanks Dwight Schrute.
😂😂😂😂@@CarlMurawski
600 is just to much for a boot
nah
Not if you live in them.
@@johnstuart3039 I live in mine comfortably and they last about 6 years until the tread is low mine cost 150
£500 or £50 work boots. Cement dust kills the stitching.
Wesco definitely should not have made this list 😅
Please elaborate
@CarlMurawski they are the only ones I'd argue have gone down in quality as the 19th century turned if you look at whites jks nicks they have all not stopped adding positives too their products Wesco has if anything only seen what they can change cheaper without being noticed but like all opinions this is just the opinion if some guy cutting trees down in the apalachian mountains 😆
Well at least you have an opinion for reasons other than "because i saw it on RUclips" I definitely respect that!
@CarlMurawski you rock man I wouldn't have even been able to form that opinion if not for the hours of information you've posted for me to absorb an I have no hate twords Wesco an kinda joking about taking em off the list they have still built a great bit of history and have my respect I just fanboy over whites an nicks alot 😆
@@AppalachianLumberjack hahahaha I get it! I learn a lot from other dudes who use these boots too, so I always appreciate when you post your comments and opinions.
I thought viberg stopped making real work boots
