Illidan didn't mow down the trees after becoming a demon. That was my favorite part XD literally seconds before saying how the forest will heal and then goes and destroys a bunch of trees.

If anyone is a big Night Elf fanboy like myself,did you notice the subtle changes they made to the cut-scenes and voice overs?They omitted some lines, and zoomed in/out for some(For example they removed the word Furion from all the dialogues lol)...still it is not what they promised and marketed, no wonder everyone is pissed, thank god I did not pre-order. Thank you for the video uploader.

He is so sterile, I fucking hate his new model. The old Illidan model somehow radiated more character, his portrait fitted the voice perfectly, and his constant waving and slashing with his blades made him look alive and dangerous as his character suggests. The random yoga moves, and stretching his back gave us the impression of a man who has truly been captive in a small cage for eternity while still maintaining combat readiness and preserving mental stability.
In this however... he looks like he has a massive butt-plug inserted. Godawful. Give me the old graphics back, they were outdated but they were made with passion and love and it tells.

God that scene with the druids of the talon changing to bird form in the scene, flying for two seconds, then reverting back to human form, is about as painful as how their cyclones are animated.
Holy shit I saw that clip of the "new" cyclones effect. Its just a slow ass tornado with the units floating and doing their idle animation.

The word "demons" is pretty often used figuratively to describe strong enemies (Cairne even calls the Centaur "devils" during the 1st Horde mission).
For all she knows, they might be talking about Night Elves, whom even battle-hardened Grommash acknowledged as fearsome warriors.

Too small team + far too tight development schedule.
Reforged team completely underestimated the amount of work it would have required for them to remake +4 hours of these cutscenes, so they scrapped those plans....
And Activision-Blizzard ofc didnt give them more resources or more development time to pull it off. They dont care about a remaster of 18 year old RTS game, they want most of Blizzard Entertainment employees to work on new and more profitable games like Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, so they treated Reforged as "2nd rate project" that was done with minimum amount of effort and with as small team as possible.

How the hell can bloody Heroes of the Storm have superior graphics in every way in a "reforged" game. It looks like an amateur company done it not Blizzard, wtf.
Wdym? HOTS runs on similar engine like StarCraft 2 developed way later than WC3 engine so its just old engine updated like they do with WoW and it looks great imo
Because it was not developed by Blizzard staff.
Heroes of the Storm uses much more modern game engine than this.
Reforged is literally build on top of the same old Warcraft III engine from 2002. They did this in order to have the gameplay EXACTLY the same + that the custom maps that were done over the years would be compatible with Reforged.
Those + cutting development costs were the main reasons this was not done with entirely new engine. And personally I dont think the graphics look that bad and the unit models actually look quite nice, but the problem is mainly with unit animations and that they went cheap with the cutscenes. If they had actually made the cutscenes like they originally planned in 2018 (check The Culling trailer) it would have not left such cheap feeling about this all.
But unfortunately they had too small of a team and too tight schedule to pull it off...so ultimately the blame for that falls to management at Activision-Blizzard, cause they are the ones pulling the strings at Blizzard Entertainment.

I don't know how they managed to make the portrait models more inexpressive than the original game
It's what I'm most disappointed about honestly. In the original they were literal bobble heads and always making weird faces to the point of being ridiculous and silly. In this they just move their lips and blink. The dialogue is synced but I prefer seeing the silly expressions over just lip flaps. The icons feel so lifeless and boring now.
@@yourwelcome8650 They could've made 2 animations of the characters emotes , like how they made it in wow when someone speaks. The shitty lip sync takes the only thing enjoyable of reforged and shits on it. Add good models with cheap ass animation to the cocktail of greedy new policies and new content that will never come and you got this clusterfuck of a game. The Blizzard we knew is dead and gone, this remake just confirms it. Sorry for the ramble

pretty much yeah, at leas the VA got called again and paid, plus they are retconning because of WoW players.
I'm pretty sure that this line was in the very original - no retconning here - I'm sure, because mention of Deathwing was even in the very original Polish dub, 17 years ago.
Cutting out mentions of Furion (he was called Malfurion starting from Frozen Throne onwards) on the other hand is a retcon - a sloppy one at that, because you can tell where his name was supposed to be - it was simply cut.
Similar thing happened with Grom in the orc campaign - he was called Grommash only by Mannoroth ONCE in the whole campaign, everyone else simply called him Grom - but this shortened name got cut out with reforged.

This is the problem. The units are high-quality based off their supposed cinematics look. Thats fine and all but it clashes with the cartoony background. The Artstyle of the original has been ruined. There are HD mods that exist that does this better, obviously said mods don't have shiny new graphics and shaders, but at least they retain the artstyle of the original.
Heroes of the Storm did it better and is from the Blizz too, ffs

what i never rly understood in W3 is, if Illidan was capable of doing some megaAOE spell to break his prison's doors, why didnt he do it all those 10.000 years? :D
If I had a guess, I would say the "megaAOE" spell he has is more like a shockwave. Additionally to that, he'd still have to fend off the wardens that were slain by Tyrande prior to his escape. Also, solitude can make you real mad, especially given to WHY he ended up there in the first place.

Nah, I hope they don’t because I’ve watched this video somewhere regarding about the conditions on to those custom maps.
Apparently if you made a custom maps on this game, Activision Blizzard will now have a claim on those said maps. It was written in, I guess, User Agreement or something so they will have a definite claim to it and you can do nothing about it. Now, imagine someone who made those Dota maps. There would be lawsuits of the ass.
I think they did that deliberately because Dota was a missed opportunity to them. If you haven’t heard, when Dota 2 was being made, The “separate entity before the merge” Blizzard back then filed a lawsuit against Valve and I’ve heard they lost the case because the original creator of those Dota maps was in the court and took Valve’s side.
Now, I suggest you ignore this game because it screams greed at this point.
Is there a way I can play a cracked version of this? I’d like to play it but I cannot in good conscience give any money to a terrible company like blizzard.
