Hiya Folks! This is the climax for the Undead Campaign. Again, thank you for your patience. The editing is taking most of my time, as I want to make sure I get these right.
Next up is the ORCs, but that’s a bit sleepy so I’ll skim through the main parts and get right on to the best one. NIGHT ELVES!
Again, I neither defend, nor hate on the game. I’m just trying to be neutral & cover the lore that created WoW (my channel’s purpose) and attempt to “FIX” the scenes a bit with the power of music.
Least I could do, in hopes they one day fix the game, as it should have been.
It looks the same....they didn't even try -_-
manoj joshi some parts actually look better but not what you would expect from an “improvement” after 18 years. I was hoping at least for some wings of liberty level cut scenes. Credit where credit is due at least the graphics look better, but not to the point where Blizzard’s hype want its fans to believe. In short, the real problem is Blizzard overselling and under delivering. I wouldn’t actually say they didn’t try. There is some effort to the game.
Honestly I think if they just left classic well enough alone and sold this as a reskin for 5-7USD no one would be complaining.

I do what I must. It hurts to play through what could've been a masterpiece of a game if Blizzard followed through what they promised in 2018. The cutscenes, the new UI, hell even the way the trees swayed in the wind was gorgeous. I can't support this game, but at this point I wanna cover the lore for those who follow the channel for that. Maybe with some hope they fix it, or add the cutscenes they were working on.

@ xdurch0 I don't blame them, they have every right to be frustrated with the state of the game. At this point I just want to deliver the lore of W3 to you guys. Hopefully if they see W3 has great interest, they WILL indeed put in the effort to fix it with the new UI, smooth graphics and cutscenes they scrapped.

He wasn't tiny...and actually can use titan magic to enlarge himself...he died ONLY because spell keeping him in this world was unbinded by *Night Elves* souls. Hundred thousands of them...then he exploded because lost controll over own power.

For a "Grand Magi" that oversees a kingdom excelling in magic, you'd think that Antonidas and the Kirin Tor would put up a very good fight against the scourge. even as a kid, I was so disappointed when the magic he threatened Arthas with wasn't some nuclear-like, anti-undead arcane explosion, but cute little confectionaries that do nothing but tickle his enemies. all hail Antonidas, grand archmage of the Kirin Tor that specializes in making sprinkles
The idea that mages are always prepared is a myth, just like scientists the magi of Kirin Tor must study, test and plan ways of answer to the problem, and this costs time
Antonidas himseld said in the beggining of the campaign that he doesnt understand the undead thus he sent Jaina to study the ocurrence
Arthas betrayal and the subsequent destruction of the kingdom wasnt expected and the Kirin Tor were not even close at the time to create an effective counter weapon against the scourge
From the first attack in the northern lands up to the siege of Dalaran it was few months at the best
Thats why Antonidas and the Kirin Tor couldnt fight, everything happened out of a sudden, too quickly and they were a new enemy they didnt have any effective weapon against
I think its impressive they develop the anti undeath aura in time actually, or else it would be over way quickly

I think the models is fine it just the gameplay
Everybody just stands there like a wooden stick and talks barely opening their mouths. It looks really plastic, like Mass Effect Andromeda figures, not creatures of flesh and bone (more or less sometimes).

The cutscenes still look good considering when they were made, but they couldve looked soo much better ugh

He could probably tap into the potent leylines under Dalaran to power his spell and destroy the city. Though i doubt someone as powerful as Archimonde needed to.
Now why couldn't Archimonde do that sand castle spell from across the galaxy? Probably would need too much energy or something. But then again overthinking this whole thing is a bad idea since the writers of the story (lets be honest) don't know either.
I always thought it was easy for Archimonde, because Dalaran was built upon from magic. Hence why he used a magical rune to destroy Dalaran, while he tried to hump Nordrassil physically to destroy it.

Ok, so the cutscenes they showcased didn’t make it. But go back and look at the original Warcraft 3 cutscenes. They look like a downright potato. These are an improvement. But nowhere near what they were doing like with Stratholme. Honestly, they promised so much and delivered so little. Sure its nice to have updated models/graphics, but its looks so damn clunky half the time. Really hope they fix the game down the line. Until then I try to make them palatable with some music, for you guys.

And now that I've played it as well and have even more perspective on it...Archimonde calls Kel'thuzad a "Little Lich"
Which is fair because the Eredar had slain a god bare handed. (Malorne)
But a Lich, for even seasoned heroes and adventurers, is a dreaded opponent and very few would willingle challange one.
And here comes Archimonde, using archdevils an Liches as mere pawns who are absolutely terrified of him.
And he isn't even the main boss of the Legion.
And this genuinely made Sargeras feel unimaginably powerful. And it was really good.

Are not the Dragon Aspects able to appear in human stature? I think it is more to do with unleashing full-potential. Reality is somewhere in-between (if you look on WoW's cosmos map). 'The Emerald Dream' and 'The 'Shadow Lands ' is where the ability to change shape/size, probably draws from.
And Tichondrius is smaller than Arthas...
thats archimonde's true size. he got bigger once he started draining the world tree of its powers and the night elves' immortality was lost. at least according to the old lore...

There's supposed to be a mini boss fight of Antonidas, which makes the killing of Antonidas much more satisfying than just killing him in a cutscene like nothing. However, the editor did not include any gameplay, which leaves that moment kinda weird.
I have no idea if you’ll see this, but I wanted to tell you how great of a job you do on all your videos! You’re one of the sources that helped me figure out the exact order of events of wow when I first started getting into it. I can’t play it yet due to finances, but I’m so grateful to you for these videos. Keep it up!

The fact that they made archimonde purple only to follow him up with an original cut scene of being blue goes to show how chaotic this games development was.

It's sad, they made the models look more WoW like, which looks cartoonish, I love the gritty gory dark style of the original Warcraft 3, I wish they kept the original design, the Naga myrmidon went from an intimidating badass looking serpent with deep set eyes and oversized jaws to a starving dog on a bone hunt
@@heavysaber9431 It's the opposite actually, normal Wc3 was far more cartoony and stylized, while Reforged went for a realistic look which clashes hard with the world and which is difficult to animate properly. If you look closely the portraits do emote, but it's so little you can barely see it.
@@Tamamo-no-Bae some looks even more badass, like the orc grunts and human footmen, but most got the WoW treatment that radically changed their overall design, like the naga myrmidons, they don't look like intimidating forces of the deep anymore. And most got the "shoulder pad and bracers" treatment as well, which I think lessened the theme variety of units that the classic had before.
Makes me wish they used the model engine from Heroes of the Storm. That looked better than their current Reforged models

Actually they did change some stuff. The ingame cutscenes from reforged dont have the background music, so essentially what you see here is a fan-edit. Yes, they actually managed to make some scenes worse than the original.

A shame you did not include the subtitles in the archimonde cutscene, where we are told exactly what he is saying, namely how the mages built their cities on stolen power and conceit, how they will be consumed by the very fire they sought to control, and how the scar on the land marks the point from where the whole world shall be consumed

It pains me to even look at those cutscenes, knowing how much better mappers used to do with things like camera angles and terraining, even in classic WC3.

Shazam it’s slightly different than the normal Invincible, more drawn out and with a different tone. All of Athelarius’ Reforged videos have altered tracks in the background that I can’t identify.

It's the same old cinematics but with a higher resolution. (From 480 to 1080 at least.)
they are the same cinematics from the original, but they were able to find high-Res versions of them for Reforged.
People are blowing this out of proportion. Bugs are inexcusable, but this is exactly what I imagined this remaster would be like, the same game only it looks better. The cutscene debacle makes no sense either because from what ive seen those were trailers so I dont really understand why everyones loosing their fucking minds.
