Jaina isn't Arthas, she is much like her bigot father she is an admiral of the Kirn tor like her father wanted her to be, if you noticed even before Warcraft 3 she had her own resentment towards the Horde because of hordes in the past, when Mediveh ask her to work with Thrall she was shocked and hesitated.

I agree Arthas had literally a split second decision to make there was no time for thinking only action....Its just at the time he was the only one who had the thought of killing people to save the many. VS Jaina she did it cause of a small handful of elves vs the entire lot had helped make a bomb. Her actions lead to killing countless innocents who had thought of Dalaran their home for decades and then stand her ground when confronted by the literal leader of her faction. @@patrickbuckley7259

Arthas' purge was the last resort because the Mages and Silver Hand's paladins were so bad at their job.
If the Silver Hand and the mage had worked harder, the plague might not spread that badly.
Because it was Arthas' betrayal that truly brought the destruction to countless lives.
      Then, Jaina and Vereesa case...
Well, we knew both were mad at the Horde and sought to eradicate them.
The problem was the majority of Sunreaver wasn't the Horde yet and they were the group of chill mages who lived peacefully for many generations. Simply received fel-magic because they had no choice or died a horrible death. Then, if we blame their survival choice...Also, blame Rhonin because he was too late to find the cure method.
(The Blood Elf was also not a full-fledged Horde but a neutral party who allied with the Horde because it was convenient for them. When they helped Sylvannas against the Scourge and found out the Horde under the Thrall was a nice place to have diplomats compared to the Alliance racism during the Dark Day...Thank Garithos)
*The one who stole the Bell that caused the misunderstanding was the non-Sunreaver Blood Elf who simply used the Sunreaver teleportation portal... While the Sunreavers who live in Dalaran knew nothing about this.
**Varian was stupid, he originally thought that banishing the Sunreaver would secure the safety of the Alliance, and then temporarily stop the plan because the Blood Elf would change sides. (Then, Jaina did nothing wrong because it was his original plan)
Jaina is the same as her father, a very racist and narrow-sighted person.

Too busy making Garrosh look like the big bad. Blizzard seems to have this problem of making the horde do evil deeds that are grossly out of character of the horde and then glossing over stuff when someone in the alliance does something bad. Like the burning of Teldrasil, that is so out of character of Sylvanas that they had to write a big bad overlord into the story in order to make it make sense. Sylvanas is too practical and pragmatic to burn the world tree, not when she can use it as a bargaining chip. Garrosh blew up Theramore, initially a tactically sound decision to wipe out a majority of alliance leadership. But then he decides to murder the survivors as well. Something out of character of the brutish but honor-bound Garrosh. In cataclysm, he kills one of his generals for attacking civilians, something he considers dishonorable.

tbh Jaina should've symphatized with the blood elves' decision to not do anything to stop Garrosh. Their whole populace was decimated by a human controlling the dead. Whatever was left of them were sent to suicide missions by whom? A human again. They were forced to ally with the Horde because the Alliance was willing to kill them off because some of the leaders were racists. The Horde is all that they have left and they couldn't afford to go against the warchief lest they risk going extinct completely.
I like Jaina a lot and I understand the pain that drives her anger but she went all out to the people who had no choice but to follow whoever or whatever keeps them surviving. I can't see any good reason that could justify her actions. A lot of people say she did just the same as Arthas. Arthas killed people who were infected, if he didn't act sooner the undead would've decimated the Eastern Kingdoms sooner maybe even without him being a death knight. Arthas acted the way he did because he knew how fast the plague spreads. He protected Andorhal against waves of undead and almost lost if not for the help of Uther and his army of paladins. Stratholme is much larger and held more infected people. Even if the Silver Hand manage to stop the incoming undead, so much more lives would be lost and again, they would fall too. I mean Medivh himself tried to get all of them to Kalmidor because he knew the east continent is lost already. (And also because Archimonde is after the world tree) No matter what they do, the people will turn; if they haven't died already.
Jaina on the other hand killed an already suffering population of survivors who could've joined back to the Alliance. If she's going to blame the people who would've been hunted to the last man if they tried to stop Garrosh then she might as well try to kill Thrall for making Garrosh as warchief in the first place.

@@sansapha58k47 Well after the battle at Mount Hyjal, Jaina tried to build a new faction where the survivors of Lordaeron that she leads becomes allies with the Horde Thrall leads. Their home would be Theramore.
However during the building of Theramore, Daelin Proudmoore (Jaina's dad) heard about Jaina being seen among orcs. Daelin is one of the people who experienced the horrors of the first and second war. He thought that his daughter was being held captive by the orcs so he brought his navy to Theramore to save her.
When he arrives, Jaina explains to him that the Horde is not a threat to the Alliance anymore and that she is making a future where they all work together (She believes this because Alliance and Horde worked together to fight the Legion at mount Hyjal). Daelin won't listen though, saying "Once Horde will always be Horde", and continued to fight the orcs. Not wanting to ruin the peace she worked hard to maintain between the remnants of Lordaeron and the Horde, she decides to let her father fight alone. That's why people say she left him behind. Her dream of peace between the two factions led her to the decision to let her father die by orc hands.
For a while it worked. Even though members of the Horde and Alliance were wary of each other, there were peace. Then Thrall had to step down from being warchief because he had to serve the elements as a shaman and appointed an unwilling Garrosh as the new leader of the Horde.

When you do the alliance war campaign, they slay all new allies they can seek ( nightborne in Xibala, Sanl’ayn in Nazmir, Vulpera in voldun..); does experimentations to change gorillas into war weapons; plunder the room with the Zandalari gold and artifacts.. you don’t actually see Zandalari frontally attack Kul’tiras before, the horde does but not Rastakhan and the Zandalari who was not part of them yet. Yes, I'm speaking of ORCS. Maybe Trolls too. Please, we don't want to kill the same Elves that helped us win the Second War. If we commit war crimes, we want to commit war crimes on Orcs, Trolls, maybe Goblins too. Please. Thank you for your attention.

I mean as a original alliance player I get what you mean. But at least wage war on orcs that deserve it, but then we wouldn't have mobs of hostiles to kill like ogres, I'm glad the horde have goblins again, but really wish the alliance would go for someone else than the blood elves and undead, maybe go for the Taurean? It would be rather easy, and the trolls only have small areas, if you eliminated them then taking the orcs would be far easier, though the same could be said if the Horde did the same, eliminate the Draenei and Gnomes, as Nightelves is rather scattered and broken at this time, so easy pickings against them if you could avoid their leaders, who are filled with fury and rage so getting on their bad side even more could lead to disaster, but same with the blood elves they could harness and collect enough mana to power an entire genocide on the last human capital of storm wind. Either way the World of Warcraft is filled with so much war not just orc vs humans ( & with their extended allies) I admit I miss when it was humans, dwarves, high elves against the orcs drunk on demon blood and felt energy. But Thrall did try to lead the orcs down a better path, to bad all the other leaders of the horde lack brains or turn out to be villains everytime.

We don't know what exactly she did during Legion but we do know she was indeed fighting demons on her own. Funny thing is if you did this back in the day you and Jaina hardly killed any of the elves, but as Jaina scales with each expansion she kills more of the elves due to dealing more dmg. But it was always funny to see the Blood Elves get upset over it.

In a diferent time, in a diferent universe, on a diferent timeline.... there lies a expansion scraped by blizzard... and there, you'll find a Lich Queen... and its not Sylvannas...
