The portraits are so static in Reforged. The characters hardly move their face or emote.
"why can't you appreciate that i looks pretty huh?" - some apologist fan that forgets about the portraits having multiple animations and talk movements which is the thing that gives WC3 some life when compared to the soulessness of starcraft 2 static lip-moving portraits...
EVERYTHING is more static. If you look on some cut scenes from original and reforged you notice that there was better camera work, environment effects AND characters acually were animated rather that just stand around.
Mannoroth's armor and wings: black in Lordaeron, red at the Chaos Well, purple when confronting Grom... In original Reign of Chaos, they were always black since the original Pit Lord models (Mannoroth and Azgalor) didn't adapt to faction colours (unlike the the neutral Pit Lord hero introduced in Frozen Throne).
In Azeroth, you find destiny. In Kalimdor, destiny finds you!

You can even hear the cut line stampled in
Something to do with Honda copyrighting, or Trademarking, the word "Grom" You'll notice that Grom is referred to as Grommash in WoW. But for WC3R, because they re-using the original dialogue, they had to edit lines with his name, and they did it horribly.

Though you are correct that not using Grom, when with Grom is odd.
@@Razgriz_01 He was called Grommash in War3 too, Grom was a nickname that he let Thrall use. Frankly, it was much better back then. It made their friendship seem more real.
Yeah. A shame blizzard couldn't be assed to deal with something so simple so they just horribly edited the lines that has "Grom" in it and changed it to "Hellscream". The edits are very obvious too.
@@kolsveinnskraevolding He was Grom Hellscream originaly in Warcraft 2 (and he sounds like young orcish berserker not an old and tired warrior like in War3). In Warcraft 3 he still was Grom and only Mannoroth called him once Grommash. In WoW he was Grommash Hellscream. Maybe in next 10 years he will become Grommashlasher, lol :D Absurd decisions. Imo they should always keep their original characters designes... and dialogues in remasters

i really recommend you to see it from the original Warcraft 3, this voice actors, the in-game cinematics and the portraits itselfs DO NOT makes justice to the game.
@@matiasgauna2189comparing the different versions of cutscenes I agree the characters act quite stiff but theirs a few scenes which actually are an improvement but they few and far between

Setting aside why in the world they changed the voice lines saying "Grom" to "Hellscream" in the first place, the least they could do is try to make the edits sound more natural. There's always this weird jump where the line is edited.

i never understood the whole orc wanting lumber vs elves not wanting to give it to them thing. looked pretty damn easy for malfurion to regrow them, so why dont they just have a specific area of trees he could just constantly regrow and the orcs harvest for lumber
Justin For the elves, the forest is alive. So, if you’re going to cut one tree, it is equivalent of harming to forest, thus hurting it. So what you had is eternity of torture. Cutting and regrowing them i tantamount to killing and resurrecting.
To them trees and nature itself is sacred. The orcs also hold nature sacred and take what they need but the elves don't even do that and wait for the twigs to fall down and for wisps to collect them.
They really have edited out the "Grom" lines. Also, apparently Demons respawn in the Twisting Nether. It is why we didn't actually manage to kill Archiemond apparently. But! Mannyrothyfussykins seems pretty dead. Apparently.
"You're no Oracle! You're the Prophet!" Did the writers of this actually read their lines out loud? Those two words are essentially synonyms. Oh, now I'm turning into Malfurion and can't help but state the obvious! Typo too, the "DestinyI promised you." There does not appear to be a space between the "y" and the "I". So we don't get to hear Jaina say: "Well fine then. I guess we do have to work together." It just leaves us after Meddy tells her, again, that they have to?
Just to let you know, Thrall didn't know the name of 'the prophet' so he called him that as such.
Being unable to correctly interpret "the Prophet" line is a whole new level of amusing.
Also, no, Mannoroth didn't die there, demons permanently perish in either Twisting Nether, or places saturated with Fel enough so that TN seeps into physical reality.
Wow, that is one brutal scene in 4:40. But sadly, this remastered suck.
Wish Blizzard ask permission to Valve to have a reforged like DotA 2 graphics, much more better.
