    One other mod worth considering is get in the trunk and seal up the subwoofer properly.. plug up all the holes and essentially have a airtight parcel shelf to trunk.. bit of silicone and sound deadening foam. The subwoofer sounds heaps better and the stereo sound really good thereafter. Cost you $10 for a tub of silicone and another $20 for sound deadening adhesive. Also throw in a trunk Matt to seal up the air in trunk as well.. subwoofers like a separate air chamber in front and behind the subwoofer.. have a look how many holes are in there. Killing your sound!

    • @reasons4171
      @reasons4171 Год назад +7

      Be careful if ur sealing the subwoofer because it should have enough room to pump air back and forth.. otherwise you might break it

The creep test can be conducted by driving at a speed slower than 5 mph after releasing the brake. My biggest gripe is the fuel economy. I drive like a bit of a dick but only sometimes, but my car just stays in the 23 mpg range with not alot of highway driving. Apart from that this thing is great. It just drives so well. Great grip, great steering, great exhaust, great seats, functional interior, just fantastic.

      @@TheWhisperingPenis i rarely use eco mode but it doesn't help that much. I drive in normal mostly but short shift manually, and only use N mode a couple times a week for a minute or two. It once showed 26 mpg but I actually did 23.5 which was infuriating.

      @Nomad624 Yeah, that's my biggest turn off. It seems like a great car honestly, but for maximum fun and efficiency, I just feel like I have to buy a Civic SI. Wow I almost forgot about that old interface w the bulbs for radio lol. I’ve had mine for about a year and a half now. No regrets! Love it. Have to say.. • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive  Год назад

      So you updated your infotainment and the bulb graphics went away, right? Interesting that the SNL would get 40mpg on the highway. I wonder if it’s a combination of gearing, less grippy tires and 87 octane gas? I don’t know. I’m pretty happy with almost mid-30s on the highway in the EN though, especially coming from a gas pig Dodge Charger R/T lol.

A well written ECU tune will without any doubt always beat any piggyback. The theta II 2.0 is a carry over from the AD chassis. The new 1.6t (SmartStream) Gamma II is redesigned differently such as pistons, crank,
    longer rods. Cyl Head. VVTi and CVVD workin independently on the cams. So real tuning for power will be more complex on the SmartStream then the Theta-II. It might take a real brainiac to figure the
    new 1.6t GSS and make the power the older Gamma 1.6t did tuned. 400+ Hp easy!

      I have a manual EN and fitted purple lower mount bushings, purple gearbox bushings and upper engine mount yellow and honestly I can’t feel any vibrations over stock.. wheelhop is pretty much gone and can launch the car properly. Best of all fully reversible mods. I fitted black upper engine mount for testing and it felt more vibrations.. but purple/yellow combo no issues.

      Nice, congrats! Premium is highly recommended, but I do hear about people using 87 octane. I personally would not use it though. First normal service is 7,500 miles I believe, but I had my first oil change at 5,000 just to be safe. I service my car as severe service schedule because I’m overly cautious about my cars.

    • @IzzyEG6
      @IzzyEG6 Год назад +1

      I paid out of pocket @ 1k for an oil change to remove the brake in debris. Then just simply go with scheduled intervals. Make sure they use full synthetic. I'll switch to AMSOIL once freebies are gone.

    • @light_studies
      @light_studies Год назад

      Owner's manual recommends you use any octane level, not just Premium. Its actually quite strange the way they word it. But I use 87 and get much higher mileage than he states in the review. I typically can get around 40mpg highway

    • @porfiriato84
      @porfiriato84 Год назад +2

      I've always heard octane levels are a myth. If the owners manual states you can use any, then do it. Higher octane will not hinder performance one bit.

    • @IzzyEG6

      Octane ratings are not fluff. The engine will limit power by retarding timing at lower octane levels due to their higher tendency to knock

      See here is the thing I find hilarious about your comment. Literally almost everyone who thinks the current front end looks better than the 2024 are people who, like you, own the current Gen. And those who prefer the new one are mostly not current EN owners. It's just funny how that works. Personally, my honest opinion is the current front end look is what made me very hesitant on buying one. I have always thought it was plain ugly. Now that I have seen the new one, the "minimalistic" changes are enough to make me buy it. So in one year it'll come down to EN or 24 G70.
