its interesting how different folk see FTP. i view it as a bit lower than how your coach prescribes it, especially if its close to a 60 min effort. i trained mine out last year from 40 mins to 60 mins, training out the time in zone. 315 is solid boss!

I love threshold training, those long intervals are proper spicy but also the mind needs to be subjugated as well! You are looking really really trim Dave, looks like you’ve managed to shed a fair bit of timber since your very first video

Thanks mate… It’s definitely not my favourite, but it gets the job done 👍…
I’ve not been weighed since I’ve been in Spain, but I feel quite a bit leaner… I’ll have a weigh in when I’m back next week and see… I think I was around 82kg ish when I started with the videos, I’d guess I’m around 74/75 at the moment, which I’m happy enough with 👍

Only thing I could suggest is ditch the light fast wheels for training and replace with a heavier set with harder rolling resistance. Use the fast wheels for the event. The boost and lift you get is undeniable. Worth it no doubt. Every gain counts

You're looking lean! Combo of heat and training no doubt? Or any drastic change to diet management? Loving the videos, really hope you can keep them up! Be interesting to see what you keep up to over the winter after HR.

@@chuckbassification thanks mate. No drastic changes really just more training and I’ve cut out any treats over the last month or so… I plan on keeping the videos going after the HR, I’ve got events going well into the back end of the year, so will be keeping my foot firmly on the gas 👊

Was hoping to see how long each interval was in the vids? No distance or time log displayed for each interval.
