You can just do that with any scrunchie… I do it almost everyday. Before you go to sleep spray it LIGHTLY with dry shampoo… and twist your hair into a loose bun. In the morning take it out and you get this.

Girl I'm happy for you but if I pull my Afro Up at night and cover then get up in the morning...it's STAYING UP so UP in an afro puff will be that day's look. If I straightened my hair this could work, but I would also need like 4 more inches of hair. This my friends is why many bw wear wigs and weaves because our natural hair afro worn OUT...key word OUT and Loose is an hours worth of moisturizing, spritz with H20 and detangling depending on your length, thickness and texture OR you just wear cornrows or twists daily. Anywho the style looks pretty on you!

I’ve been doing this for 20 years, works is my hair is curly or I straightened it, i twist the hair around and clip it to avoid the flat top, then place the silk hair tie around the whole thing to keep it in place… I put in a touch of hair oil on the ends which the curls love and no frizz. Comes out beautiful takes one second to take it down!
As a teenager, we would bend our head over and tie our hair in a ponytail with a piece of pantyhose, on the top of our head. Kind of worked the same way.

@@cheyenne1524 get a large scrunchy from primark or eBay for a few pounds or dollars Then ties ur hair first with the scrunchy make sure it’s a big scrunchy it’ll give u more room Tie it and then before u do another tie take ur hair and wrap it around the scrunchy band like how she did in the video towards the end It’ll give u same results just need to try it a few times Not worth spending so much on soemthimg u can do for less and get same results

So Now I just roll it up gently and wear a Silk Bonnet. 😏 Yep it has Worked Wonders Keeping it from being Unkept. …. I unfortunately flip around when I sleep. 😆 So the hair use to take a beating. 🤔But I have found a Solution. 😉. Now to try and get it to grow it as long as it was. ☺️

Been doing this for years. Any type of normal scrunchies work depending on hair thickness. But u got to have wavy/straight hair. Mine bushes out and isn't in the best health so makes it look lovely and keeps the shiny waves. This is just how scrunchies seem to work lol. Its best with wet hair or damp hair too just washed. thought everybody did this 😆

Don’t do that ever night. You have beautiful hair, but if you keep doing that you won’t have hair like that forever. It can and will break off your hair where it’s tied, loose or tight, it doesn’t matter and you can’t grow it back. ❤

Obviously it's not for natural curly hair. But if you straighten your curls, this will preserve the large barrel curls or waves without having to reapply hear as often. I'm a curly 3C. When I straighten my hair, I keep body in it by using a large scrunchy at night (similar to this technique).
My husband steals my hair ties in the middle of the night so that he can pet my hair. I think that's way more important than having pretty hair when I wake up
