They prolly put a deadly amount of rip-its, the jalapeño cheese spread, and pb with cracker dust for bread out of MREs then a bunch of room temperature water and monkey butt ice cream in a blender n bam sf 5 star terror dinner
I can’t recall the source for this but I remember reading that part of why the helicopter went down, was that they’d practiced raiding the compound using a 1:1 scale model and it featured a chainlink fence. Whereas the real thing had those mud walls, and this then created different upwinds that they hadn’t anticipated.
I believe it was Rob O'Neil that explained that on Shawn Ryan podcast. He also told that the 160th pilots only had something like 3 days of training on the stealth birds. They did not know about these before the op.
The Blackhawk crashed because the pilot lost ground effect. Day 1 stuff. It was I big FUCK up on pilots behalf. However, in his defense they were flying without crewchiefs. Crewchiefs provide aircraft obstacle avoidance and aircraft advisories . Oh, and NSDQ DRMF
@@darkhorse6829 they had little practice on those birds. The pilot did an amazing job putting it down. If he hadn't grounded it they would have all died.
never stop making videos, my brother committed suicide in January and i was left in a wheelchair for a couple months afterwards as i broke my ankle running down the steps after my family heard the gun shot, your channel along with others helped me so much in getting through this and motivating me to try and get my life together once my ankle was healed. thank you so much for your videos and i cant wait to read your book rising above as i have a very similar childhood background. thank you for all that you have done for me and keep up the amazing work.
Hang in there brother and so sorry for your tragic loss,..I had to reply with something that’s helped me a ton,..I went through the worst divorce you can have sprung on you where my ex worked the system illegaly and unlawfully serving me divorce papers with the incorrect court dates on them ,..then knowing I was going to be a no show with wrong dates she changed her decree , giving herself 100% of EVERYTHING,..worst of all 100% FULL custody of our 3 daughters , my youngest , a baby and all 3 being the lights of my life,..she gave me a couple hours a week in parenting time , deleted phone calls and FaceTimes, gave herself alimony and full child support for all 3 of my girls , gave me ALL the debt and her self ALL the profit made on selling the home I paid for, kept all the furniture and even the conceal carry pistole my daughters got me for my birthday. She told the judge I was a no show, a dead beat dad and didn’t care about my children or anything along with a ton of horrible lies and filed for a default judgement and got it awarded. She got everything she wanted and when I went to the courts with the papers showing the wrong dates from her , I was told it was signed by a judge so I’d need to take her to court to try and undo what she’s done. She gets 92% of my income so I can’t afford an attorney (the entire idea) and can’t pay my bills with what I’m left with. She called the owners of the firm I worked for and destroyed my income and reputation with lies , then on the day the judgement was signed she text me after I asked to FaceTime my baby girl and said she wasn’t allowing phone calls or FaceTimes anymore since it’s not in her decree, then told me she was moving in with “her boyfriend” I knew nothing about and moving my daughters into this strange man’s basement, sold the house and kept the $160k , has me paying for her implants, she’s since started horrific rumors about me, but worst of all she’s decided to not let me see my daughters anymore and telling them I abandoned them , telling them they can’t call me dad anymore , call me by my first name when referring to me, call her boyfriend “dad” and that I don’t love them enough to want to see them. Becasue of Covid the courts got 8 months behind so it’s been almost TWO YEARS of not seeing my kids or taking to them waiting for my day in court. During that time my mom collapsed one day and turned out she had a brain tumor, stage 4 brain cancer , ended up quickly in a coma and passed away just months later, my ex then refused to let my daughters come to my moms (their grandmas) funeral on one of the worst days of my life. My dad collapsed after the funeral with Covid. Her lies and rumors ultimately took my job and now she’s reporting unpaid alimony and child suport becasue I’m starting mt own firm but don’t have the income yet. I lost my health insurance with the job so had to cold turkey off all my medications and have been horribly sick for months since becasue of that, lat week I broke 2 teeth and have no dental insurance or money to fix them. All in all it’s been the worst 4 years of my life but not seeing my babies is killing me!!! I felt SO lost and defeated on every possibly level! Loosing my mom and daughters same time essentially has all but killed me and left me terribly lonely and sad, even when I hang out with girls, nothing replaces my daughters. I was at the end of my rope and giving up on everything when a Sunday morning about a month ago I saw a Sean Ryan podcast alert . He was interviewing legend DJ Shipley; SEAL Team 6 gone DELTA Force Green Team , to CIA sledgehammer , now owner of GBRS private war fighters and Spec Ops training and a RUclips channel. I’ve looked up to him forever , a Legend! Probably THE deadliest most trained tier 1 Operators on Earth, countless catastrophic combat injuries , 17 years in but also He is THE most humble , quiet down to earth man but his 2 hour podcast he talks of his career and injuries /accidents but goes all in on his f&ck ups, mistakes, infidelity, cheating, drug use , lying and deception, his destroyed relationships with his parents, and struggle with suicide and attempts. Baddest operator on earth starts crying thru this and showed me it’s ok to cry, to hurt and said EVERYONE experiences loss, pain, everyone screws up, makes mistakes, but your frame of mind is key, everything can be worked on, hearing can occure , change can be made a thought at a time,..jsut DONT give up! He said he went to the beach to commit suicide after his wife found his secret IG account he used to cheat adn told him to get his stuff and leave her and his children. Jsut before pulling the trigger in the Bed of his truck, she showed up by miracle and told him their marriage maybe over but she Loves him still and that his children need him and don’t deserve to go thru life wondering why they weren’t enough for him to stay on this earth and it changed his life! He fought like hell to get his life back, own his crap and become better and happier and all he could be for his kids and to help others struggling and is a changed man today. I thought of my daughters too and he was talking to me there! I could never imagine them wondering why they weren’t enough to stay and made a decision right then to fight like hell however I can , each day, baby steps to changing my circumstances and righting what my ex has done while owning my mistakes . Since thst Sunday, things are slowly changing, hope has come, answers , heaven sent things thst are starting to turn the wheel. I feel like Karma and what’s right will prevail , people and organizations have come out of the wood work randomly thst will help this change. That 2 hour podcast hd an effect on me and seeing DJ go though hell I can’t imagine and come out ontop fighting is an inspiration thst I can come out on top, I’m not damned to my circumstances! I’d hebcan get their thst hell, I can get thru mine , I’ll continue to fight for my babies as long as it takes and leave my ex and her damning , destructive , dark $hit in the past and out of my life! Be greatful that I’m not married to someone that could betray a spouse SO horribly , someone that can emotionally hurt my children for her own selfish wants! I’m greatful to not be married to that stranger I thought I knew and when I get my babies back, it’ll be a happiness I’ve never experienced before. Sorry for the super long comment but I’ve felt what you feel, I’ve lost 2 of my closest friends to suicide , I’ve experienced dark disparity , hurt and pain thst doesn’t seem like it will ever get easier but you start to feel better, you learn to live with the missing and can get strong feelings from it! I jsut wanted to suggest you watch the Sean ryan DJ Shipley 2 hour podcast episode on RUclips , he also has some great interviews with green beret mike Glovers channel. Black rifle coffee has some amazing podcasts too. Hope DJs interview can help us like it helped me. Hang in there brother!
sorry for your loss brother , i lost my younger brother unexpectedly in 2017, we were 1 year apart he would be 31 tomorow, i hope you are doing ok i know the first 2 years were the roughest for me , just keep your head as best as you can and try not to do anything in an emotional rage that cant be undone . it might not get better but you get better at dealing with it and become stronger over time . prayers to you and your family man
I really appreciate that initial discussion about freeing even high-level enemies - most people don't realize (or don't want to accept) that there is no black and white situation in the world, everything is shades of grey. Often (always?) there is no good outcome, only less evil one.
@@jorgenoname6062 Just saying making morals irrelevant or an argument of relativism about right and wrong is a slippery slope. One in which you can lose your humanity if not careful. While there may be some shades of gray there certainly is right and wrong, and some shades of grey are mostly black or white.
The movie never explicitly tells you if she's competent or incompetent. It shows you what happened and always you to decide. There isn't enough time in the movie to give some nuanced backstory. Regardless of how impressive this triple agent was or what the backstory was, she still disregarded security procedures and we know what happened. Considering she was a female CIA agent, I give the movie credit for being unbiased. According to modern movies, every female character is a genius and makes no mistakes ever.
@@jrapp1468 her uncle was a former CIA officer who said that it was her fault. Robert Bauer, a former CIA agent, said that he would have taken the meeting outside in the source's car driving around the base. The interviewer pointed out that he would have gotten blown up and his response was yeah but it's better than what happened.
@@jrapp1468 to be clear, her uncle said that she was not qualified to be in operations. He was very happy for her to be a CIA analyst. However, he said that the decision to allow her to become station chief was a mistake because she did not have prior operational experience.
@@jrapp1468 watching the movie at face value it does make it appear she's sort of an idiot who doesn't care about security at all. In reality they had several meetings with the source.
Kurt and Buck... you guys have discovered a great thing here. Every single day, I watch something from you, whether its "cuz im a Dad", doesnt matter. I am 63 and way way past selection, but the Catalina Trail adventure, etc, is one of a kind. Listening to you guys think tactics, lol I was an officer, and break this stuff down is just special. Things in life come and go but thanks. You guys are special and anyone who goes through your training will agree.
Rob O’Neill stated in his book the reason for the Helicopter crash. When they built the replica of the compound and rehearsed, the fence was chain link I believe where as the actual fence of the compound was solid. As a result, when the helicopter went to hover in ground effect, sufficient air couldn’t circulate for enough lift and it went down. Also, he said one of the 160th guys thought he could still fly it out 😂 just makes a little more sense of the situation.
@@DowntownDeuce2 maybe. Just stating what the rob said in his book. Also, most things I’ve read about it suggest that settling with power was likely the cause which is a valid explanation if the fence theory was true. I’m no expert though so who knows
@@joebenson528 Lift is a function of air density, which is a function of air temperature. I'm pretty sure Boyle's law and Charles' law are taught in 7th grade earth science. Every elementary school graduate has demonstrated competency in that area. It is definitely covered in the principles of flight, with particular emphasis on rotary wing flight. Unfortunately, we live in a society in which the least functional tend to be the most vocal, which you have just proven. There are still a few self-respecting adults, who aspire to be more than unskilled labor/ GED hopefuls, who feel it is incumbent upon themselves to either learn life's basics or refrain from commenting on topics that are beyond their comprehension. Some of us can even speak multiple languages, read and write script lettering, drive a standard transmission, and file our own taxes.
I saw this discussion come up with Top Gun when being reviewed by pilots about why they say unnecessary things. I would think it's because the average viewer doesn't know what tapping the top of your head means so they say it out loud as well so we can be more engaged with the scene. Same with the cockpit scenes, since the audience can't be in the pilot's head to know what their next move is, they say it out loud as way to guide the audience along. I think we forget these are movies and the story has to be told in a way the viewer can follow along and not get lost.
You're 100% correct. It's funny because a lot of kids watching anime don't understand why there's so much dialogue during fight scenes. Thoughts are spoken out loud for context for the [ignorant] viewer's sake. Also a lot of the story can be explained for foreshadowing and future reference. But much involves lingo and tactics that the average person isn't aware of, or just plainly don't think about. The more you understand about the story, the more you enjoy the experience.
@@wadewilson8011okay but in most anime it’s just a way to fill up time and stretch out a fight scene without actually having to do more animation. The point of film is to use visual language to help tell your story, if it’s constantly stopping for characters to literally tell the plot out loud I might as well be reading a book
@GiRayne I never took any message that torture is acceptable or good from the movie. There again, I know refugees from Afghanistan who spoke of local imams who deradicalised potential suicide bombers in that country. The message I took from Zero Dark 30 is that effective intelligence requires long term relationships of trust, acting in good faith and deep connections with local people, knowing their grievances. Not something the USA is particularly well known for.
For the Helicopter crash, when they practiced using it they were landing in a practice compound with normal chainlinked fence allowing air to disperse outwards away from the LZ. During the raid, Bin Laden's compound had the normal Mud/Clay walls with no breathing room for air t escape except upwards. The upward draft interferred with the way the helicopter rotors worked and caused like a "dead zone" where they lost lift causing the crash. Atleast thats the story ive seen/read in respknse to why it crashed
Its mostly cultural, in Islam if you are not doing something voluntarily and or being forced to do it you dont get punished for it so the shame they feel is mostly due to cultural norms and what not, iam a muslim from lebanon and live in kuwait so i kinda know these people hold culture almost higher than religion. Btw love your content you guys rock! Love the no kissing ass no bs type of “review” , seriously out of all the ex mil guys doing YT, you guys are a breath of fresh air! Laughed my butt off when y’all roasted Rob. Great info as always on the real story behind the movie and utility of certain persuasion/empathizing tactics. The little segment about SERE was a treat too!
Im a fire LT in a 4 station fire department. Been a firefighter 10 years and have been an officer (so i’m responsible of a house/truck/crew)…I love how humble you are like youre not like “im the shi* i dont need to constantly learn, you take responsibility fir mistakes and formulate a plan to train and fix those mistakes to be the best possible and to master your craft”. I feel like there is an epidemic in my department of people “acting like they’re an expert after doing a skill once, never taking responsibility for mistakes and in fact are scared to screw up and would never admit if they did, and acting weird if you try and convey a training evolution to re-create a scary situation I was in (with another officer) where we were moving through a fully charged high heat commercial structure to find the fire and I got disorientated in a split second. (Smoke so thick could not see my flir screen in front if my eyes). I got lost (which experienced guys have been lost in fires before and know how scary and easy it can happen). Well I want to show my guys like hey this could happen to you and we need to get a structure and re-create that (as best we can) in a training scenario. Its like me acting like I was a little nervous is weird to them. How do I show them its okay to admit fear and that you should respect this job can kill you in a second so we need to constantly be getting better and train and be open to saying “what we did good and what we did not so good and how were going to train to get better”?
Seal copy pasta is even more hilarious when it comes from a seal. When a quiet professionals' Jimmies are THAT rustled, and loses their composure; i find to be priceless.
Love these shows. They're like watching those old Mystery Science Theater shows, but with two drunk SF guys instead of cardboard robots. Keep them coming!
Jeremy Wise had two brothers. One who was a green beret who was also KIA in Afghanistan 2 years later, and another who was a marine who got the designation of "Sole Survivor" taking him out of the fight as the only brother left in his family.
Sorry dude but you are wrong about the bombing at the CIA station in Afghanistan, I was a GRS contractor at the time (not at that location) 2 very good friends of mine died in the bombing. Bottom line is she screwed up (not saying she wasn't qualified) there are rules on search for a reason. Not going to go into specifics but every car gets searched at least once, if you didn't want the local guards to search for identity reasons then the easiest thing to do is have the dog go around the outside, which with that much explosives the dog would have easily detected it. From what I heard it wasn't her lack of smarts but her ambition that got them killed.
Fun fact : The shooting of Movie ZD30 wasn't done in 🇵🇰Pakistan or the city of Abbottabad where the real course of events took place . Instead , most of the movie scenes were shot in my city "Chandigarh" 🇮🇳India And next to my school the local flea market was given makeover of a Pakistani marketplace complete with Urdu shop signs 😅 and people dressed in Pathan suits strolling by . As a kid watching with my friends from the Giant classroom window Camera's Rolling & Hollywood actors for the first time it was certainly a moment I'll never forget .
I mean, I have to imagine the Pakistanis wouldn't let them into their country to film one of their biggest embarrassments. The actual compound was demolished.
Do you know John.J.Rambo? Hes llike an older Green Beret, think he was active during the Vietnam war. Might have done some secrets missions after that though
From digging and talking to people that have researched it way more than me, a lot of people suggest it wasn’t O’Neil, but Bill Rapier who fired the shot that took down Bin Laden. But the general consensus is he’s the type of guy who would never try and take credit for it.
Oh man, thank you so much for these book suggestions! My book wishlist is kinda crazy right now, but I definitely added them, and I am super stoked to read Better Broken as well! Just the title alone is extremely captivating and I cant wait to read your book!
The reason the crash happened, according to the story tellers, is bc when they trained they simulated the walls with chain link fence, the solid wall created updrafts and choked the engines and stalled them, if they trained with solid walls they would’ve known about it ahead of time, pretty sure Rob O’Neil talks about it in his speeches about the raid
Maatteeee! I've just came across this channel and I fucking love it!!! I've watched a good few of them now. Here's something that hasn't been made public: the helos where loaded on the way in, one crashes and everyone on it lived... how did those personnel exfil?
when I was in the brig, one of the watchstanders was a former MP stationed at Gitmo... One day the entire bases CMC was talking to the females in the brig... a day later that particular watchstander was released from being a watchstander... according to the females she made a single female stay on watch from 20:00 - 08:00 without the ability to sit and then instead of securing that watch (it was only a nightly watch) she made her stand it again from 0800-16:00 with no head call or sustenance or hydrating in the 110°F Lemoore, Ca Sun... at approximately 14:30 the female passed out and medical was called... she told the CMC what happened and when the CMC questioned the MP about it, The MP tried saying the female was drinking alcohol (in the brig somehow) and collapsed & therefore was negligent of her duty... luckily the base medical ran her blood and not only concluded heat stroke and dehydration to be the issue... but they also tested her blood and found zero BAC... Idk what happened to the watchstander after that, but she definitely was in my opinion the 2nd worst watchstander at the brig... she did a lot of fucked up shit to us, and called us "her favorite little terrorists"
Sleep deprivation can be pretty powerful in and of itself. When you start falling asleep and you still think you are awake because you're visualizing what you saw right before your eyes closed, then somebody wakes you up, and you think you're going nuts. Delirium is no joke. I haven't been food deprived or exposed to particularly harsh elements while sleep deprived, though. I imagine the POW phase of SERE can take quite the mental toll.
I went thru SERE back during the Vietnam era in '72. We'd already been up 48 hrs before a midnight belly crawl under and around concertina wire and live fire led us towards eventual capture. Cloth sacks were thrown over our heads with the stench and breath of every GI who'd worn them before us. In what was perceived as another 12 hrs or so we went from buck naked in completely darkened and freezing cold 5'x5'x5' concrete and cinder block cells to bright lights and loud Vietnamese music to 3'x3'x3' bamboo cages which we had to duck walk into. Then came the audible mind games and various forms of physical torture. All this time sleep deprivation and starvation played tricks with our brains. We were fed one single "meal" of a single rotten smelling tomato which was served during the total darkness scenario. One guy went mental during the bamboo cage experience. Better then and there than under stress overseas. By the time (hours? days?) we were transferred to a very accurate replica of a North Vietnamese POW camp the vast majority of participants having given up and given in to the physical and mental fatigue were content to just find a place on the ground inside a quonset hut to curl up and fall asleep. The few remaining of us stayed on task to achieve to second "E". Escape. We managed to detect the camp's security weaknesses and got three men out. Mission accomplished.
The movie SHOOTER with Mark whalberg... drops knowledge about ABU GRAB, saying the higher ups knew all along, but sacrificed the Soldiers following orders💯
I'm gonna be honest. I absolutely love that movie. Particularly the last part. But my absolute favorite part was Jessica Chastain in any scene. Smart, disciplined, and ballsy gorgeous red head.
You had me at Redhead. Julianne Moore. Jessica Chastain. Karen Gillan. Debra Messing. Sophie Turner. Molly Ringwald. Just to name a few. Julianne Moore is getting old but she still has one of the greatest pair of legs in Hollywood. Toned, fit, and athletic.
Hey been really sad lately because MEPS can see everyone's medical history now and I can't join and it's literally all I've ever wanted but your videos make me laugh👌
i hope you find a work around man, my process is gonna be delayed bc of an anxiety medication a got 6 months ago, i have to be off of it for 2 years before i can join. I've been down about that too lately. Best of luck bro
Waited for this breakdown specifically, thank you for eventually getting to it. I do wish there was more of a breakdown to the raid itself, but I appreciate the video nonetheless.
Just rewatched Zero Dark Thirty in honor of today in honor of 9-11. First time watching it in a long time, as a recent graduate of 12 Bravo Combat Engineer school, I recognized some of the breaching charges the breachers utilized during the compound scene. Kind of made it a unique re-watch experience for me personally. Either way thanks for the book recommendations Buck, I'll check those out. Hooah
If you boys don’t mind breaking down call of duty missions from modern warfare 2019 such as clean house and the wolfs den then that would be something I would love to watch also keep up the hard work
if you guys havent yet please check out a movie called The Objective. It was a low budget movie that came out around 2008 and its about a CIA operative who was assigned to a special forces squad in Afghanistan in the timeframe before the full invasion of Afghanistan. They were tasked with finding an elusive Afghan general but run into some weird crazy shit that's like deeply rooted in history in that region (not trying to spoil). picture Apocalypse Now but in the barren mountains of Afghanistan with a slight sci-fi touch to it. also Ken Taylor appears in the movie lol
Regarding the crash. From what I've read, the mock up that they trained on for the compound had chain link fence to represent the walls of the compound. Because air, as you can imagine, moves through chain-link better than it does through a solid wall training landings inside the mock compound went down without a hitch. However, during the actual raid itself air from the rotor wash got trapped inside the compound and created an event in which the helicopter immediately lost its positive lift and they crash landed. To my understanding, the pilot of the other bird who saw the crash reacted quickly and off set his original landing ( atop the roof) to landing outside the compound.
Bro, hearing y’all talk about the SERE experience with the baby, the entire time I was thinking, “yeah, the baby was tough, but the BOOTS, BOOTS, BOOTS MARCHING OVER BLAH BLAH BLAH” , the Kurt mentioned it. It was almost good music by the end lol. I wasn’t sure if y’all had that same thing in Army SERE cause I did the Naval SERE. I guess either branch, it’s standardized.
Everyone should watch the Sean Ryan show where he interviews Rob O'Neill where a lot of those dispersions are addressed. He was out at first not the other way around at least from Rob's words. Hell wasn't there.
@fngacademy love your content. My son is joining the army at 18. He struggles a few things that I know he will also struggle with in the military. You guys put out a video where buck told a story about a soldier falling asleep in front of buck. When I was warned about it, the soldier made no excuses and apologized. Later buck finds out he had pulled over watch ( I think) but admired the fact he made no excuses. Can you please help me find what episode that was? I want to show it to my son. Sometimes hearing things from someone other than a family member helps get the message through. Keep up the great work guys.
Another great video brothers. And thank you to all the vets for your service. On the shaming part of the interrogation, I'm a Chicano Muslim. To me, it made sense when you both said its a religious shaming because any promiscuity is a sin. Also, your privates are something to be "guarded" and its important not to reveal to anyone, including same sex. It's encouraged to use stalls rather than standing at the visible urinals for this reason. If its all same gender situation and nothing can really be done, then I guess group stuff is ok lol Also, dogs are considered unclean for keeping as a pet in the house, and are permissible as hunting or farm dogs. I think the only time a dog appears in the Qur'an is in a story regarding the "Sleepers." This story is in the bible too where a group of persecuted, including a dog, take refuge in a cave. God made their hearts at ease and made all of them fall asleep, with the dog in a guard dog position. If someone entered the cave, then they would have ran away cuz it looked like the dog was guarding dead bodies. No one knows how many or how long they were asleep, but the currency they used when they woke up belonged to a kingdom that was destroyed already.
“Thank God HE was in there because if he wasn’t we’d have to explain why we crashed a top secret helicopter in a compound in Pakistan…” Lemme try: “Early today an experimental military aircraft had unforeseen technical issues and inadvertently wandered into Pakistani airspace while experiencing catastrophic engine failure. Up until this moment, this was a routine training flight. I repeat: this was a routine training flight. Luckily the skilled pilots were able to land the aircraft with no injuries on board. We would like to thank the Pakistani government in their assistance and are grateful for their ongoing relationship with the United States.” There, how’s that?
Yeah, then access to our super secret helicopter is being sold to the highest bidders. And then China would make the “Walmart version” and Russia will build a toy that looks like it works.
o'neil said that there sould be the restrictions on the 2nd amendment and thinks that his military awards give his opinion more credence . they don't. while i think that the "bro vets/brcc bad" thing is super overblown (especially amongst the instagram gun guys), o'neil is the epitome of everything that could be perceived as wrong with that community.
So the Company I worked for at the time Insight Technology were the manufacturer of the googles used by Seal Team 6. The owner of the company paid for the 1500 employees to go see the movie during work. It was very nice of him.
I remember reading about this raid in the book “ the only easy day was yesterday “ the only part of the movie that made no sense was when the main CIA lady just visually Id’d the body!! Really? C’mon man; you went thru all that, and you’re not gonna do DNA swabs, photos nothing?
You guys are about 20 years younger than me. I have total respect for you. You're tougher. I was trained by old Vietnam vets. our mind set is different. We killed everyone. I'm not saying it's right, but I like you guys
Sean, I'm concerned for you. You admit that you don't know everything, that you're wrong about things at times, and that you read books. That's seriously abnormal cop behavior. It's like seeing a beached whale. It's not normal. We all know that cops don't do any of these things unless they're ill. I'm concerned that you may be coming down with some cop flu or worse. We care about you Sean! Go see your doctor before it's too late.
This film kinda dragged for a lot of it. The Operation Neptune Spear part with the SEALs though. Now that was class I really enjoyed that. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Didn't seem too over the top at all it was well done.
The movie shows the torture didn't work, at least on the first guy. They tortured him and couldn't get anything out of him. They lied to him and he folded like a napkin. Another person said I'll tell you what you want to know, I have no desire to be tortured anymore.
There is no Tier 1 element of the 160th SOAR(A)…The Stealth Hawks were a SAP and that element doesn’t exist anymore as it was deactivated fairly recently.
Hey. Love the channel and the vids, but howbout putting yourselves in the small window and the movie footage in the big window? That would make the videos way better.
from a interview i watched with one of the seals (the one officially credited with killing him) and he was saying how when they practiced it stateside with a 1:1 model that the wall was a bit higher on one side and apparently had caused unforeseen updraft. if they would have tried to throttle up it would of flipped the the chopper likely to kill most if not all on board. they had 4 of the best piolets in the entire us army/spec ops.
I have read that the modified Black Hawk (for sound) went down because it was severely overloaded. The aircraft crashing was part of the contingency plan as it was well known that the additional sound baffles and equipment that was added to the aircraft caused it to near its operating MTOW. Also Rob Oneil got a DUI a few years back. "Any respect you had for him" - you still had any?
The whole time they played screaming babies when I went through, I loved my little box, shaded secluded and was left alone in there lol. They hosed us down to keep us cool, I was freezing and it was in the 90s lol
I thought the tweet at 27:12 had something to do with Dakota Meyer commenting about regular citizen types running around, doing training in body armor & plate carriers (he called it 'larping').

Yeah I remember reading something similar.

So sorry for your loss bud. Glad that these guys can help you cope with it all.

"It's all ok till it's not ok" is 100% accurate.
I really appreciate that initial discussion about freeing even high-level enemies - most people don't realize (or don't want to accept) that there is no black and white situation in the world, everything is shades of grey. Often (always?) there is no good outcome, only less evil one.
Well said *golf clap*
While this is true, I also notice people who choose the dark more and more talk about shades of grey.

Thank you gentlemen for adding that nuance concerning the CIA agent. Clearing names like that is honorable. Just ordered Triple Agent.

Begging your pardon, the 10° temperature shift from reported weather conditions had a great deal to do with that crash
@@DowntownDeuce2 maybe. Just stating what the rob said in his book. Also, most things I’ve read about it suggest that settling with power was likely the cause which is a valid explanation if the fence theory was true. I’m no expert though so who knows

At the same time
The term you’re looking for is “exposition”
I find myself enjoying beers with you guys more and more..... laughing is fun, and beers are too.
a full length version of these with them just watching the whole movie on patreon or something would be the best, then we can all tag along with them!
Have you tried crack?
For the Helicopter crash, when they practiced using it they were landing in a practice compound with normal chainlinked fence allowing air to disperse outwards away from the LZ. During the raid, Bin Laden's compound had the normal Mud/Clay walls with no breathing room for air t escape except upwards. The upward draft interferred with the way the helicopter rotors worked and caused like a "dead zone" where they lost lift causing the crash. Atleast thats the story ive seen/read in respknse to why it crashed
Rumor is that those experimental helicopters were also under powered. Could be bs. Just throwing it out there. You decide.
(Smoke so thick could not see my flir screen in front if my eyes). I got lost (which experienced guys have been lost in fires before and know how scary and easy it can happen).

Bottom line is she screwed up (not saying she wasn't qualified) there are rules on search for a reason. From digging and talking to people that have researched it way more than me, a lot of people suggest it wasn’t O’Neil, but Bill Rapier who fired the shot that took down Bin Laden. But the general consensus is he’s the type of guy who would never try and take credit for it.

The reason the crash happened, according to the story tellers, is bc when they trained they simulated the walls with chain link fence, the solid wall created updrafts and choked the engines and stalled them, if they trained with solid walls they would’ve known about it ahead of time, pretty sure Rob O’Neil talks about it in his speeches about the raid

when I was in the brig, one of the watchstanders was a former MP stationed at Gitmo...

The blackhawk crashed because of ring vortex effect. Also called Descent under power.
Totally agree on box and isolation work. I felt calm and relief and fell asleep.
I was freezing when I woke up.
I’m surprised they didn’t realize that that would be an issue

On the shaming part of the interrogation, I'm a Chicano Muslim. To me, it made sense when you both said its a religious shaming because any promiscuity is a sin. Also, your privates are something to be "guarded" and its important not to reveal to anyone, including same sex. It's encouraged to use stalls rather than standing at the visible urinals for this reason. If its all same gender situation and nothing can really be done, then I guess group stuff is ok lol
Also, dogs are considered unclean for keeping as a pet in the house, and are permissible as hunting or farm dogs.
Oh, you're the hispanic muslim, I knew there was one around somewhere.
This is one of my favorite thriller movies! Can’t wait to see y’all go wild!
“Thank God HE was in there because if he wasn’t we’d have to explain why we crashed a top secret helicopter in a compound in Pakistan…”
Lemme try:
“Early today an experimental military aircraft had unforeseen technical issues and inadvertently wandered into Pakistani airspace while experiencing catastrophic engine failure. Up until this moment, this was a routine training flight. I repeat: this was a routine training flight. Luckily the skilled pilots were able to land the aircraft with no injuries on board. We would like to thank the Pakistani government in their assistance and are grateful for their ongoing relationship with the United States.”
There, how’s that?
Yeah, then access to our super secret helicopter is being sold to the highest bidders. And then China would make the “Walmart version” and Russia will build a toy that looks like it works.
All you doods on this channel are exactly the kind of guys I would hang out with. Wish my friends had your guys' personalities.
o'neil said that there sould be the restrictions on the 2nd amendment and thinks that his military awards give his opinion more credence . they don't. while i think that the "bro vets/brcc bad" thing is super overblown (especially amongst the instagram gun guys), o'neil is the epitome of everything that could be perceived as wrong with that community.
I’m just a regular American but y’all are hilarious and these videos are a fun break from the crap in the day!!!!
Kurt making fun of Rob O’Neil in the stack
“Move bitch”💀😂
Each episode keeps getting better and better! Love the work guys
I dig Kurt's vibe.
Just stumbled on your videos and I'm stoked I did. You guys are great, looking forward to checking out your other content.
So the Company I worked for at the time Insight Technology were the manufacturer of the googles used by Seal Team 6. The owner of the company paid for the 1500 employees to go see the movie during work. It was very nice of him.
Good choice of beer grabbing that Andygator! Come down to south Louisiana Buck and I'll give you a tour of where it's made.
Raw and uncut...love it..keep doing your thing!
This film kinda dragged for a lot of it. The Operation Neptune Spear part with the SEALs though. Now that was class I really enjoyed that. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Didn't seem too over the top at all it was well done.
Love you guys. Just found this channel. Brings back alot of memories
The movie shows the torture didn't work, at least on the first guy. They tortured him and couldn't get anything out of him. They lied to him and he folded like a napkin. Another person said I'll tell you what you want to know, I have no desire to be tortured anymore.
Torture rarely ever results in solid Intel. The fear of torture is what gets the solid Intel.
@@napalmstickylikeglue I disagree
@@Last_Chance. that's because you have no experience in interrogation. Watch another war movie, buddy. 😏
That was great gentlemen! Thanks
You guys are the best, love the commentary; great job!
Just started watching your videos guys, and am really enjoying them. Regards from the uk
Yooo do Triple 9, please! You guys got the best reactions out there, I'm dying to see one to Triple 9!
I’m pretty sure the chopper went down because something to do with the new sound dampening tech on the blades and the wind bouncing off the walls
The whole time they played screaming babies when I went through, I loved my little box, shaded secluded and was left alone in there lol. They hosed us down to keep us cool, I was freezing and it was in the 90s lol
Outstanding review! Show more books, Sir! Keep up the good work!
Break down the shooting scenes in wind river!
I’ve been waiting for this one nice!
Awesome breakdown my dudes... Keep em coming.
Super entertaining video guys! I laughed so hard watching this one!
As a "civie who knows nowt" I'm as happy as anyone with your vids, many thanks and all the best.
I thought the tweet at 27:12 had something to do with Dakota Meyer commenting about regular citizen types running around, doing training in body armor & plate carriers (he called it 'larping').
