      Lol I was cringing at that even the Polish in WWII dismounted to fight on foot hell in the Civil War even General Buford understood horses are nothing more than just a means of getting someplace fast.

    • @EatDatBitchAwp
      @EatDatBitchAwp Месяц назад +1

      @@rc59191yet the us marines used a horse to not only deliver ammo supplies to shooting positions on mountains but also string communication wires together. The horse was trained to get low from incoming fire and hide in bunkers during artillery attacks. Using old school general tactics that are useless nowadays makes no strategic sense. They’re more uses for horses in a battlefield than just getting places faster. Every person familiar with the military knows this.

    • @mesabman
      @mesabman 2 года назад

      Exactly, Willie. It makes me sick to see Hollywood bowing down to the black man in the name of "racial equality" or whatever. There were NO black guys in ODA 595, only White guys. The movie should have honored that.

      @@mesabman I don't know who's sitting back making those decisions, but it's not the Black man, he isn't the one making them do it, was there an Spanish guy on the team? but for films like this, they should have it right, I'm surprised there wasn't an LGBTQ person on the team

    • @AznGamingNation1140
      @AznGamingNation1140 4 года назад

      I think their mission is mostly to act as advisors to allied forces in other countries. Most of their missions remain mostly as teachers but I'm 100% sure they do other clandestine shit they cant talk about.

    • @135Fenrir
      @135Fenrir 4 года назад

      @@AznGamingNation1140 That is what the berets say themselves too. They go in and get the locals up to snuff to fight their own war, by being billy badarses themselves. They are cross trained on EVERYTHING, each other's jobs, weapon systems, enemy combat styles...everything. I forget where it was, Spike's Deadliest Warrior maybe? But a rep from the Berets mentioned that they hardly ever even wear armor unless it is a straight destroy mission, and even then it is rare.
