Confirm exit is probably the thing that’ll be the most useful for me. I’ve had way too many times where I press escape to do something, and then instinctively press escape again because I’m used to the same button closing the menu it opens in most games, and then losing all my progress in a level because it just exits
Reducing the price of items (like in the mechanic shop) that much may seems like a lot, but if we assume that we gain 1000 orb each day (wich is still some dedication) it would still take more than a year to get everything, just for the mechanic, so I think it is a much needed change.

If you hack buy any icons instead of just using icon hack, it will deduct the price of those items from your balance. And it may un-buy some things if you end up being in the negatives.

The reason you can't save is because you have too much saved to your account, the maximum amount of data you can have when saving is 32MB, but your profile has a total of 32.9MB
I have the bad habit of always pressing escape to try to exit the pause menu (and it usually happens to me in the last checkpoints of the platform demons 😢). That confirm exit button is a blessing.
Who thinks the i button on profiles should display more stats like orbs obtained currently, attempts in total, jumps in total, dailys completed, and weeklys completed? It could also display the amount of each power shard the player has.
Maybe even display what type of demons they’ve beaten, so instead of just stating the player has beaten 100 demons it can give the additional information of like 86 easy demons, 10 medium, 4 hard. Something like that would be cool
for people concerned over the challenge or scratches shop, the challenge is working now as of 2.201, scratches im unsure of as i do not have the required diamonds but im pretty sure it works aswell
I think this update help a lot, cuz for someone who doesn't play the game too much completing all paths was a dream. But now I can work towards that plus I the overwhelming prices made people(including me ) lose hope and stop playing the game as much so this update really helps...
there used to be a bug where Lock to Camera X/Y in the move trigger would work differently on different FPS's. this has been patched in this update. in addition, the options menu used to have the Practice tab completely blank, its buttons offset to the menu on the right of it instead. this has been fixed also
i really really hope that robtop fixed a scratch bug that i have (just to confirm it’s not just me.) but basically it just wouldn’t let me in the shop… i have the 500 diamonds i need, i even got to open the diamond shop but it doesn’t let me pass scratches dialogue and just repeats it over and over again…
wow this mini update added more things than i imagined. Show hitboxes, platformer practice mode and obviously the price changes are really nice. It is very cool to have unlockables to grind for but some of the prices were actually unhinged before the update
The save thing is mostly a RobTop problem. It’s because the server that is used to save your data, and the backup server for that server, are both really full because of everyone playing 2.2 (Or at least something like that. I don’t know very much about how servers work). RobTop said he was going to get another backup server, so hopefully that will make saving better. Deleting some levels from the editor will also help.
I decided to start fresh with 2.2 and these price changes are brilliant, I'm sitting on 25k orbs and 2.5k diamonds, glad I'll have access to a little bit more of 2.2 content:)
I'm pretty sure RobTop changed the icon you receive when you get the achievement for claiming 1 list reward. In 2.2 when you got your first list reward it would give you the icon that looks blank and has two rectangular eyes on it. After 2.201 you receive a different cube for the same reward and the achievement to get the rectangular eye icon is to destroy the respective cube on the main menu screen.
Im so glad someone else is mentioning the save issue. I cannot save my account no matter what I try since 2.2 dropped. Very odd. Hopefully the issue is fixed eventually
Regarding your saving issue, it could happen if you clear out all your saved levels. Happened to me once, and getting those saved levels back let me save my data again, though it could be just a temporary thing.
They also fixed the bug where after collecting 200 diamonds for the first time Scratch will allow you in his Secret Shop now, instead of just giving you the "Come on in" dialogue and not moving you into the actual room.

There’s one problem I’m having on mobile (it might also be happening on other devices also) where when you type “the challenge” in the vault of secrets the level doesn’t open up, the door never opens, making it impossible to even play the chaos or demon gauntlets. There’s also a bug where Scratch’s shop never opens after collecting all the diamonds I’m hoping they’ve fixed these issues but don’t know for sure because the update hasn’t come out for mobile users yet
The save bug is related to your levels in the Create tab. I often have this issue and you have to delete some levels you created to be able to save your account.
This is awesome, especially the platformer sliding. That gives me hope for that mode to be awesome instead of only gimmicky, and the gimmicks can still exist with settings for so that's insanely cool. Massive update this soon after is wild to me
Not sure if someone has commented it yet, but the error to the save is relating to the size. I had the issue myself, I had a HUUUGE amount of levels, songs, and old levels Ive made from ages ago I had saved, so deleting the ones you don't use (such as just deleting all of the saved levels you're not going to go back to) it's probably going to help.

Another weird thing for me at least is ever since this update my frames are so inconsistent…i keep getting constant frame drops randomly even tho before i would be stuck at 165 fps constantly

@@novamc7945 Rob has already stated he wouldn't ever add this due to how it could be abused. The megahack feature was also banned by the demonlist. If the feature was exclusive to practice mode, then yeah, that would be fine. But having a pause cooldown in normal mode allows players to pause buffer a LOT more easily; pause buffering is already a technique that is technically legal but frowned upon by most players (This does not include pausing at an auto part to take a breather; that's generally considered acceptable).
To save your data delete all your saved custom songs in the editor and delete all saved levels that you aren’t going to be playing as well as have less than 60 created levels as I found that I could save my data after doing such. I had this issue for over 2 years and I only recently solved it. Hope this helps!
saving is your problem, you can see your limit of saving is 32mb but you went overboard with 32.90mb , you can solve it by deleting some levels and trying again

The Deadlocked bugs are pathetic. You’d think Robtop would postpone this patch to double check that levels don’t break again, like the MILLIONS that broke after 2.200 (yes, I’m including the copies of the levels, like Windy Landscape Copy, Auto, ULDM, Startpos, etc) Extremely disappointing that he did not revert the slope physics and is forcing us to accept the “new” ones:
Half of the icons are locked behind key chests, which i think is a terrible idea. It kinda just became Battle Cats where you have to grind for a long time just for a CHANCE at getting the icon you want. I'd rather just have more achievements tbh
3:20 you can't save your account because your save is too big. You can see the error message "Size: 32.9 / 32 MB", which means that the max size limit on save files is 32 Megabytes. Try deleting some custom songs or levels.
for the saving problem: it happend for me like 2 years ago, without the error message but because it was in 2.1, i think its my same reason. Your account is kinda too heavy and cannot be saved in the cloud so try deleting some levels and some creations, it should make your account less heavy in storage and allow you to save, i said the same thing to someone on reddit and worked also for him
Welp seems like Rub is doing a good job, hopefully he keeps updating the game in small manners and adding new icons or achievements in small updates after the 2.21 and not wait years for a big one like the one we got. So basically, if you can't save your account right now, and if it says "backup failed. please try again later", keep pressing the button. it's that simple. keep pressing the save button repeatedly until it says "backup successful". it even happened to me and my friends when 2.11 had its last weeks.
I was on Discord when Robtop was talking about update stuff. Apparently, the save issue is due to servers just being absolutely jam packed at the moment. I'm talking like 10 times more than the servers can hold. When someone asked about him fixing the save issue, he just said that he was working on it.
I had that issue with not being able to save aswell. If you create a lot of levels (out of boredom or wtv) they take up a lot of file space and can prevent saving, so just delete some old obsolete levels you havent touched in years
I had the same thing with the saving you kinda just have to keep trying over and over again and eventually it should save but for me it takes 3 or 4 tries before it saves
Level completion now saving before exiting the level helps a lot until Rob can figure out why the game crashes upon exiting a level sometimes. Or maybe I just got lucky with an autosave. Not sure exactly how it works
The interesting part is that apparently RobTop also made the game refund some of the collectibles you've spent if you bought the items before 2.201. I've bought most of the shops and today when I opened the game, I had over 200k orbs
3:14 had this happen to me too altough I did manage to actually save my data sometimes. You basically kinda have to get lucky and save at the right time, which makes me assume it's some sort of server issue (which robtop should really look into, as a saving issue is something pretty concerning)
bro, when 2.2 came out, I had 2k diamonds. I played almost every day to save up 5k diamonds for the practice music thing and finally bought it 2 days ago... YOU WANNA TELL ME, HE DROPPED THE PRICE TO 2K AND ALL MY WORK WAS USELESS NOW???? nvm, I just opened the game and 3k diamonds were refunded. Still, I wouldn't have put in the work for 3k diamonds just so I can buy icons now...
Be aware that the gear button is on all levels. It doesn't show disable shake if there is no shake, and same with low detail mode, so some levels won't have it since they don't have low detail or shake.
Glad that RobTop added an exit prompt. Before 2.201, everytime I tried to beat Brainfugd, I keep on accidentally exiting because I forgot RobTop made the Esc button exit the level during the pause screen. This won't happen anymore with 2.201!
For me, if I wanted to save my data, I had to delete all my saved levels and some created levels that I didn't really need to free up space. That has always seemed to work so far.
I believe that the amount you overspent on items was given back to your profile as when I logged on I went from about 100 orbs to 3k and from 12 Dia shards to 1.4k diamond shards
I am also having that problem with saving, but not to the same degree. I was before, but I deleted all my non-favorited saved levels and now it does take a fee attempts but I can save every time now.
How to fix the save issue Method 1 (Deletion Method): Delete all your object heavy levels (preferably copied ones if you dont wanna lose your projects.) This will make your save file smaller and allow you to save. Method 2 (Refresh Login Method): If the deletion method didn't work, after deleting those levels, refresh your login and attempt to save. It should work.

Yeah on pc a lot of the settings were in the wrong place and that tab was empty, I noticed it was fine on mobile. Now it's fix for pc tho 😊

There’s this bug with startpos that makes the level desync with the arrow trigger. Really annoying.

you could just either pause at an auto/break part, or before you unpause look at whats ahead in the level
If that were added, it could be abused to make levels a lot easier. This should not be in the game.

If the feature was exclusive to practice mode, then yeah, that would be fine. But having a pause cooldown in normal mode allows players to pause buffer a LOT more easily; pause buffering is already a technique that is technically legal but frowned upon by most players (This does not include pausing at an auto part to take a breather; that's generally considered acceptable).

To save your data delete all your saved custom songs in the editor and delete all saved levels that you aren’t going to be playing as well as have less than 60 created levels as I found that I could save my data after doing such. I had this issue for over 2 years and I only recently solved it. Hope this helps!
saving is your problem, you can see your limit of saving is 32mb but you went overboard with 32.90mb , you can solve it by deleting some levels and trying again

The Deadlocked bugs are pathetic. You’d think Robtop would postpone this patch to double check that levels don’t break again,
like the MILLIONS that broke after 2.200 (yes, I’m including the copies of the levels, like Windy Landscape Copy, Auto, ULDM, Startpos, etc)

Half of the icons are locked behind key chests, which i think is a terrible idea. It kinda just became Battle Cats where you have to grind for a long time just for a CHANCE at getting the icon you want. I'd rather just have more achievements tbh

3:20 you can't save your account because your save is too big. You can see the error message "Size: 32.9 / 32 MB", which means that the max size limit on save files is 32 Megabytes. Try deleting some custom songs or levels.
What about this max storage: 0.01

i think its my same reason. Your account is kinda too heavy and cannot be saved in the cloud
so try deleting some levels and some creations, it should make your account less heavy
in storage and allow you to save, i said the same thing to someone on reddit and worked also for him
I love the pricing changes but in my opinion the music things are still too expensive because new players won’t be able to get them for a looong time
If they really need them that badly they can use megahack or replace the music in the game’s files
Welp seems like Rub is doing a good job, hopefully he keeps updating the game in small manners and adding new icons or achievements in small updates after the 2.21 and not wait years for a big one like the one we got. I feel like having a lot of small updates would be the way in order to keep the game even more alive than it is rn.

So basically, if you can't save your account right now, and if it says "backup failed. please try again later", keep pressing the button. it's that simple. keep pressing the save button repeatedly until it says "backup successful". it even happened to me and my friends when 2.11 had its last weeks.
Glad we’re finally back to Rob fixing bugs and updating the game activity and not just going “just wait until 2.21” :)
I was on Discord when Robtop was talking about update stuff. Apparently, the save issue is due to servers just being absolutely jam packed at the moment. I'm talking like 10 times more than the servers can hold. When someone asked about him fixing the save issue, he just said that he was working on it.
More notable bug fixes: New players couldn't type "The Challenge" in the Vault of Secrets and couldn't enter Scratch's shop.
I had that issue with not being able to save aswell. If you create a lot of levels (out of boredom or wtv) they take up a lot of file space and can prevent saving, so just delete some old obsolete levels you havent touched in years
I had the same thing with the saving you kinda just have to keep trying over and over again and eventually it should save but for me it takes 3 or 4 tries before it saves

another thing is that ignore damage got changed from phasing through blocks as the wave pre 2.2 to dying on them in 2.2 to sliding on them in 2.201
Level completion now saving before exiting the level helps a lot until Rob can figure out why the game crashes upon exiting a level sometimes. Or maybe I just got lucky with an autosave. Not sure exactly how it works

The interesting part is that apparently RobTop also made the game refund some of the collectibles you've spent if you bought the items before 2.201. I've bought most of the shops and today when I opened the game, I had over 200k orbs
3:14 had this happen to me too altough I did manage to actually save my data sometimes. You basically kinda have to get lucky and save at the right time, which makes me assume it's some sort of server issue (which robtop should really look into, as a saving issue is something pretty concerning)
Or just click save 10 times, always works for me.

About that saving that bug, I am experiencing that aswell. You just need to keep pressing the save button until it works.

To backup ur account u need to clear up ur save file like delete some levels from ur create tab etc
Be aware that the gear button is on all levels. It doesn't show disable shake if there is no shake, and same with low detail mode, so some levels won't have it since they don't have low detail or shake.
I've had issues with saving my account, but it works every once and a while. Probably just the servers being overused.
Glad that RobTop added an exit prompt. Before 2.201, everytime I tried to beat Brainfugd, I keep on accidentally exiting because I forgot RobTop made the Esc button exit the level during the pause screen. This won't happen anymore with 2.201!
I just hope the ship part in dash around 70% in the level gets fixed for me and other mobile players
For me, if I wanted to save my data, I had to delete all my saved levels and some created levels that I didn't really need to free up space. That has always seemed to work so far.
I believe that the amount you overspent on items was given back to your profile as when I logged on I went from about 100 orbs to 3k and from 12 Dia shards to 1.4k diamond shards
I had the same issue with account saving. You have to delete some saved levels and to reduse the amount of bytes you’re saving
the bug making the challenge not unlockable still wasnt fixed
I am also having that problem with saving, but not to the same degree. I was before, but I deleted all my non-favorited saved levels and now it does take a fee attempts but I can save every time now.
How to fix the save issue
Method 1 (Deletion Method): Delete all your object heavy levels (preferably copied ones if you dont wanna lose your projects.) This will make your save file smaller and allow you to save.
Method 2 (Refresh Login Method): If the deletion method didn't work, after deleting those levels, refresh your login and attempt to save. It should work.
