The real problem of Electrodynamix isn’t its rating, it’s that the level itself is really unbalanced

I beat electrodynamix a couple weeks ago in 800+ attempts. When I replayed it I almost beat it in 3 attempts (89%), so I’m kinda mixed.

I beat it in 300 attempts, which is not much compared to my 2.5K on Deadlocked (80%), so Electrodynamix should probably remain insane.
Although the nightmare and Platinum Adventure are easier so thay probably shouldn't be demons too

You forgot to mention that the reason why the UFO section is so awkward, is because gravity always changes on that part. As there are plenty of gravity portals scattered around.
EDIT: To anyone who says "It's easy" or "It's free", you're just good at the game. To a lot of people playing Electrodynamix for the first time, that part could take about 100 attempts to get past in practice mode. Of course, I too think that part is now easy because I know how it works, but I remember struggling at that part quite a lot when playing all of the RobTop levels for the first time.

I beat electrodynamic in like 500 attempts and it's a very tough level, but it is very much not a demon difficulty level, comparing it to clubstep is like comparing the nightmare to demon park.
Electrodynamix is definitely an insane, and it’s also my favorite main level. I love Electrodynamix it is great.

Aight you make a solid point, but you can’t deny times have changed a lot, Time Machine is Harder difficulty, with all the triple spikes that it has, but nowadays Dash and Fingerdash are Insane and they’re of course way easier than Electrodynamix, sure, Electrodynamix was one of the last levels I beat but it ain’t nothing compared to Clubstep or TOE 2 in difficulty, so yeah I’m kinda divided as well on this one

in my opinion electrodynamix is actually a training level that prepares you for demons and upcoming levels that are harder than it.

@@Colours.Gaming also a bad one. theres a reason he made demon levels community decided in terms of their difficulty. an easy 2* now is not the same as it was when the game came out and this is reflective in terms of 7* levels in the map packs (for example) versus 7* now.

Ever heard of levels like the Nightmare and Blindfolder (they're around Can't Let Go/Cycles difficulty)... They're demon...
I used to think it should be a demon, but now that I’ve played a lot of custom levels, but there’s a lot of 9 star custom levels with pretty similar ship gameplay (and maybe even tighter)
I can assure you that everyone who exaggerates the difficulty of Electrodynamix have never played a 9* before
this was the first level i played which i actually had a tough time with but it felt soo good when i beat it

I remember playing ED back then and i saw no issue with it's rating as i felt clubstep to be way harder
I downloaded the game a while ago, got to electrodynamix, and took a break. I'm at 75% with 1600+ attempts. It's not a demon but it's just really unbalanced. It's like 3 star difficulty and is very easy, then spikes to a 6 star at the UFO, then it goes back down, and then the last 30% is demon difficulty. ( You could argue I have a skill issue, and I agree lol)
Electrodynamix is an INSANE level. Clubstep, Toe 2 and Deadlocked are all EASY DEMONS.
deadlocked and toe 2 are medium demons. just because you've gotten used to them doesn't mean they're easy demons

Ive seen other talk about this before, but really it’s just that electrodynamics isn’t balanced. It has fairly easy gameplay and absolutely tight gameplay mixed into one level.
It’s not a demon. But has demon parts. My attempt count on it vs even just clubstep is massive. At least an extra 1k attempts.
Electrodynamix introduced speed portals, one of the most massive changes in the way the game works entirely.
For a level meant to introduce them, its very difficult, but its not a demon. Its between 8 and 9 stars

If hexagon force is a demon then im a three toed rat turtle, i play that level every day and i think it is more likely to be demoted to harder. Electrodynamics is Good level though, underrated, not as good as the following but still good.

My first real Geometry Dash experience was with Electrodynamix.
I beat it before every single harder and insane level. And it was so difficult for me I considered it my first real hardest. At the time none of my GD playing friends had beaten this level and I knew this was one of the hardest levels in the game. So I went ahead and beat it. After many attempts I managed to do it, claiming it as my level afterwards.
To this date I still never forgot my reaction. Or the fact that I missed the 3rd coin.

Electrodynamix is 100% a demon, I poured over 20k attempt when I first started playing gd, tje levels ufo is way too hard for an insane level, and 60-100 is soo hard.

Electrodynamix is probably a demon considering that the hardest parts are at the end, but it also depends on wether you are good at ship or not since basically all the hard parts are ship

It's not that Electrodynamics is as hard as a demon, it's the fact that it is not easy enough to be a insane. It's like when Mathematicians round up the number 5 to 10 when rounding up numbers. Electrodynamics is in the middle.

I had about 35% on electrodynamix before I started trying easy demons. I came back to it after beating 5 or so and fluked to 70% within a few attempts (without any practice).
I think it's a good level to train for easy demons, but it is definitely only insane in difficulty.

I'd say this is one problem is one a lot of insane levels suffer from, not only on robtop levels, but online levels aswell, how many times has a 9 star level screwed you over for much longer than a demon?
If some Electrodynamix parts(particularly the build-up before the 3× speed mini ship gameplay) were to be bufffed that's gonna be a Demon lvl for sure
Tbh when i play electrodynamix i struggle the most at the end and the 65% upside down ship i even found it easy to beat the hardest ship part 72% than 60% ship after that smooth sailing until last ship (practiced it now its easy)
I entirely agree that electrodynamic is an insane. But not as hard as you think in my opinion because I feel this level gets really consistent. I think that the average easy demon is something like Decode by Reck3dge or something around that, so yes I believe that this level is too easy to be a demon. Because most people do the demons after all the main levels so going from this to clubstep for new comers is a huge jump making this on the easier side.
I got 3000 attempts on electrodynamix and 500 attempts on clubstep (but i also got 2000 attemps on clutterfunk so... i think that clubstep should be harder :D)
Id say the more conflicting level is acu. Not only is there a debate about its difficulty, but also its pronunciation.
After multiple times redownloading the game, I've always managed to beat Electrodynamics in a few attempts. At the same time, it takes me closer 50 to complete clubstep. I would say that the gap is very clear.
Back when I was terrible I thought hexagon force and electrodynamix were both easy demons

I remember hexagon force and electrodynamix taking me the longest apart from the demons. Although unbalanced, I think insane is the correct difficulty because all the demons took me a lot more to beat
The way i see it when electrodynamix was new it 100% should have been a demon as this is the introduction of speed to begin with and compared to other levels feels more like clubstep than the other insanes however, as people have adapted to speed and other aspects throughout the games history demon standards for the main levels are alot higher and people are now used to what made electrodynamix hard making it fit insane rating

probably the reason that this level has a lot of non-roptop type difficulty is because robtop ripped this entire level from a custom level called, well, electrodynamix

Idk why but electrodynamix was such a mental block for me when I played it, I ended up beating clubstep before it and in less attempts however I more think it was a skill issue and not electrodynamix being a demon. I feel it's fairly rated
I played electrodynamix in around 700 atts and I considered it a demon. Then I played TOEII and got 3000+ atts
I still remember when i was 13 I verified this level when my sisters ipad was 5% battery lol
The first time i beat electrodynamic was when i was in my car (if it was a demon it would’ve been my first demon)
I beat Clubstep and Toe 2 before I got Electrodynamix. There is many demon sections especially the last 40% but the ball part and the first 25% are too easy for a demon. If the start and the ball would be slightly buffed it would have to be a demon. But thinking that Xstep, Electroman Adventures and Theory of everything are in the same league with Electrodynamix just doesent make sense

I feel like electrodynamix is one of those levels that get harder throughout your playthrough
I took like around 1,200 attempts on electrodynamics and around 400 on hexagon force, although much harder it probably still ain't a demon. It is harder than some demons like lightning road and platinum adventure but those levels shouldn't even be rated demon.
I also have a hard time believing Geometrical Dominator is not rated insane. Yes, the insane rating would have probably been too difficult for the actual level, but the fact that it's just rated harder makes me psychologically not try as hard and therefore failing all the time. Maybe I should have done it in practice mode more than I actually did, because of all the memorization. Because I feel like I struggled less on Hexagon Force. Once you understand the duals there, they become easy forever, maybe except for the ship duals, while I always keep forgetting the black-background memory section in Geometrical Dominator even if I already beat the level.

I feel the reason RobTop gave Electrodynamix an Insane was that it is not nearly as hard as Clubstep and if ED was a demon, it would be an easy demon, which is not what I would've said Clubstep was at the time.
Demon on mobile, insane on pc. Getting the hang of those ship timings was hell for me back in the day. It's harder than most modern easy demons on mobile, because timings are much easier than ship on mobile

Electrodynamix took me around 130 attempts iirc and Clubstep took me about 500 so I'd say it's about an insane rating
Electrodynamix feels a little bit too hard to be considered an insane speaking of Robtop standards (Just look how clutterfunk is easy in comparaison) but otherwise, it's way too easy to be a RobTop rated demon, comparing it with Clubstep, TOE2 and Deadlocked is impossible the Demons are way harder. But this brings me to one question. What demon types are the 3 official demons ? Are they Easy, medium or hard ?

I feel like Clubstep is a very good entry point for a level to be considered a demon. If it’s as hard or harder that Clubstep it should be a demon. Electrodynamics is not quite difficult as Clubstep. While today I feel them pretty similarly (mainly because I’m far above that skill level for me to make a difference) I remember when I wasn’t that good that all 3 demons were far far more difficult, completely different league from Electrodynamics. So yeah I feel Electrodynamics is in a very good spot for an insane rating.
I completely agree especially on any level being harder or as hard as clubstep is easy demon+ in terms of difficulty.

26-60 is a 8 star
60-81 is a Medium Demon
81-92 is a 7 star
93-100 is a Easy Demon

I remember my first practice run that took me 5000+ Attempts, Then 986, then 144, then 62, then 3, then got 93% normal, then 97% normal, and then i beat it in 6000+ Attempts
Insane is a good compromise for the weird difficulty progression, and 12★ is still more than what one gets back from regular demons anyway lol

honestly, the reason why all of this drama exists is because ELECTRODYNAMIX IS WAY HARDER THAN MOST CUSTOM DEMONS. Heck, even I beat crescendo, demon mixed, the nightmare and the lightning road and STILL ranked electrodynamix harder than all of them. In the eyes of only custom levels, its not demon.

I personally don’t think Electrodynamix is a demon because even though now I’m an experienced player, the first time I beat Electrodynamix it took like 2 days tops with little grinding while Clubstep took 5000 attempts and 2 weeks of grinding. Still could be demon, but I think it’s a lot more approachable than demons.
