I don't really care of OMAD, I just want to say that you can really talk about anything and I'll watch you. You are so gentle, smart, kind and beautiful!
This decision fatigue is so on point to what I am going through right now, the cravings do pass but at the time we are so involved with it. Thanks for your vids, you are normalizing these struggles. Although 1200 calories is not enough for an adult, do not subtract exercise just bump calories up to 1500 for weight loss at least please
I honestly feel like I should thank you. The end of 2019 and begining of 2020 were very stressful to me, and that maade me gain about 20kg/44 lb. I had never been that heavy, I was tired all the time, wasn't eating well and didn't fit on most of my clothes. I was desperate and near a breakdown when I remembered your first 1 meal a day for 30 days video, and that you talked about fasting. I did my reserch and started fasting well. It's been over a year, I've had my ups and downs, but I'm off 14kg/30 lb!!! That's a whole 3 year old baby. I'm so happy I was able to make such progress, which I couldn't have done without that video. I still need to lose more 4kg/9lb to be on the weight I was before all of that (and another 11kg/24lb if I want to get on the 56kg/123.5lb goal). I'm 170cm/5'6, that would be a slim and normal weight for me. Again, thank you so much for helping me, I have no idea what I would have been of me if I hadn't watched that video (diabetes probably).
When you said 1200 calories I was sure you were super short. Im impressed you stuck with it for a while month. You could certainly go up to 1500/1600 calories if you ever consider counting again.
hiii this isn't related to this video but wanted to come to your most recent post to tell you thank you!! I had no idea there was such thing as a clinical engineer and I was feeling lost in my first year engineering degree wondering if I had made a mistake but you cleared up so many of my worries!!
So happy that you posted. You look absolutely amazing. More importantly, your whole mood is different. You honestly seem to be happy and in a much better place mentally. It just shows. So excited to see what the future holds. ♥️
Oh god i love you, watching you is like talking to a really close friend. Please keep making videos and keep us posted on your life and your journey, your content is great! 👌😊😊❤️❤️👏
I am so happy that you are starting to get in a healthier state of mind with your eating habits. Sooner or later it just comes down to that you figure out what is best for you. I have gotten better with my eating habits too finally. I eat when I'm hungry, and sometimes I have a treat every once in a while, but every now and then I eat a little more than I should, but I just say to myself that's OK. I also fast until 3 or sometimes 5 p.m. every day. :)Big hugs and I always love your videos. Like I've said before, you are relaxing to watch. I look forward to seeing more of your journey.
The decision fatigue is such a big struggle for me! I completely understand how you felt, and you explained it so well I got a little stressed myself picturing it 🤣 I feel like it’s a topic not many people talk about on the psychological side of weight loss and eating disorders ;/
You’re very beautiful and seeing your preoccupation with following this diet ruin some of the happy times/moments for you during this vlog was a bit sad but I appreciate you sharing your journey
I'm so happy for you i feel like you did so good . Honestly i noticed a big difference and you did it w a different attitude and seems happier . Anyways xoxoxo ...
I just did omad from the 4th of april. I'm down 2kg, though I think some of that is water weight. In any case, I always break the fast with some soup, then after a while I eat high quality semi-fatty protein and lots of vegetables. I typically eat two portions until I'm full and at the end I will get in a desert, some fruit , maybe a single scoop of ice-cream or something like this. For exercise about every other to every third day I take an hour long walk, or if I'm not in the mood I will go to the sauna. During the day I'll have 2 or 3 cups of coffee, and plenty of tea, usually green. Sometimes I cheat with my morning cup and add maybe a tablespoon of milk (yes, technically that's breaking the fast but whatevers).. If I don't want to eat clean and feel starving for some carbs on some days so, I'll have a carby meal like a pizza or whatever but will still make it my only meal. After like 5-6 days of OMAD I'm never hungry , I only get slightly hungry when I start to eat and when I do I fill up pretty fast. I have no dips in energy levels, no mental fog, and because of the sauna I usually sleep like a horse. On the off-chance I do get a headache or so, I will do potassium/sodium "keto" style electrolyte drink with just water (no sugar). Pretty sure I could go eat even cleaner, exercise more, but this is a very comfortable diet where I still get to indulge and practice my eating habits.
3 years ago l was 119 lbs then l let my self go and now l weight as much as you and want to lose 50lbs. l am planning on starting tomorrow for 30 days. l used to fast like this back before l gain all the weight. The pandemic had a negative impact on my hunger .🤣 OMAD works! 😊
you should watch Rachel Sharp's video "MY EXPERIENCE WITH INTERMITTENT, ALTERNATE DAY FASTING", fasting clearly works. just simply follow and be strict with the fasting, don't call it a "30 day one meal a day challenge" it absolutely ins't that, it isn't a challenge, it's a healthy lifestyle
Im doing it at the mo. Call it a midlife crisis but i want to lose weight and after having had surgery, can't exercise as i would like to. Im doing fasting to control my weight cos im afraid of getting fat as i get older. Im 46.
I may have endometriosis so I change how I eat I have surgery to fine out if I had it. But I did change my eating what vegan I lost 14lbs learning endometriosis what not to eat what to eat .
We're the same height which I guessed from your body and weight, then you said 1200 calories and I thought, oh, she must be short. Why would MFP tell you to eat so little? I use MFP and I'm on 1500.
Have you ever seen videos by Dr. Sten Ekberg and/or Dr. Ken Berry? They recommend better food choices over counting calories and give detailed explanations about why it works. Jason Fung's videos are also helpful. ;)
Tony T, I very much agree with Susan Novak. To unconfuse your body, check out Dr. Sten Ekberg's videos on OMAD. Or Dr. Ken Berry. Or Mark Sisson who just wrote a book called Two Meals a Day.
It's almost a year after this, but you're making a ton of mistakes. Fasting is not very good. If you eat a ton of calories more then you should, you'll gain weight. If you count calories and you eat all in one meal with calorie deficit, you'll spend the rest of the day miserable. If you count calories and you just eat crap, you'll be miserable even more because you eat a ton of calories in a very tiny meal and you'll seem few or no results after a month. What you need to do is to count every calorie and eat during the day, hight volume foods with low calories. Eat more salads with no dressings, but seasoned. Fat free, no sugar foods. Replace some foods. Don't skip carbs. 1200kcals is two nice meals of chicken, rice, veggies and beans. It shouldn't be sandwiches and cookies. With some more cardio, you can had more calories. Maybe stevia home made cookies,or no sugar jello, or low calorie popcorn, or a entire ridiculous brownie. With the write steps, you can loose a ton of weight and eat a ton of food. Food. Not crap.
The more we age, the more muscle mass goes away. Women's body turns into a tragedy if they don't keep up with muscle mass loss. You should focus on low carbs rather than everything else, more protein, good fat in your diet and keep carbs very low. Most of the stuff we eat are carb rich, we always feel hungry when eating fast food. Losing weight without excise is a bad idea, the skin will just hang where fat used to be.
I don't really care of OMAD, I just want to say that you can really talk about anything and I'll watch you. You are so gentle, smart, kind and beautiful!

Having to see all that food every time you work is super challenging!!
Appreciate you doing this experience. It was very enlightening.

OMAD works! 😊
babe wake up Rah posted a new video
I also gained back everything I lost from doing Omad ☹️ but like you said, I’m happy I figured out it’s not sustainable in the long term 👍
no diet is sustainable unless u keep watching ur calories. you will gain weight no matter what diet if u don’t watch them
I have looked into OMAD but I think two meals a day will work better for me!
Glad you're back 😁
eat when you’re hungry. that’s it. obviously learning the differences between the different types of hunger will help too.
Were you counting all your steps at work every day, because I don't remember you saying your were.
I would like to write something clever, but now I want that you know, how beautiful and smart you are.
you should look into body recomposition meals and workouts. try it out for a month to see if you like it.

Omad dont work it just confuses your body
If done right, OMAD does work. You have to know what you’re doing.
