    What’s the turning the nut 12 times for?

    • @xvirlazaro
      @xvirlazaro 26 дней назад +2

      That’s when you take off the spindle. Count the turns starting from the spindle pointing down, and then when you replace, count it back the amount. Gives a close alignment number, you still NEED an alignment after

      Yes. It’s just so I can get my car close to the original alignment so it won’t be too out of wack. I still took my car straight yo get aligned the next morning.

    You know if steering wheel play correlates with worn tire rods?

      It could play a part, but what kind of play are you feeling?

      @@WestCoastBuilt the steering wheel has a bit free movement before it actually starts turning the wheels.

    Did you find the noise?

    • @WestCoastBuilt
      @WestCoastBuilt  4 месяца назад

      I did find the noise this past weekend. I installed my diff bushings, subframe sleeve collars, diff brace, motor mounts, z1 sway bars, and trans mount. It ended up being my pro charger hitting the frame of my car. With the soho v1 Procharger kit you need to cut part of the frame of the car in order to fit it in the driver side. I ended up trimming more to give more clearance. Although with all the mods that I did to stuffin up the trans, motor, and rear end suspension it probably would have went away, but I trimmed more just to be safe. I have 2 videos I’m working on of the whole process, and I show that part in one of the videos. Sorry if this didn’t help your issue if you’re having one
