370Z how I removed and installed a steering rack

- Got a fresh rebuilt rack for the 370 from Z1! In this video I go through the process of replacing a steering rack in my car. Also upgrading to solid bushings from GKtech while also deleting speed sensitive steering.

Thanks for this video dude! I’m going to start this project tomorrow. Hoping this fixes my issue. Basically I have all now control arms and tie rods inner and outer. When I go left it stays left. Go right it stays right. And anything over 45mims the car starts to shake a bit. Not sure what else it could be. Also a wierd burnt smell often when I stop the car and it doesn’t smell like coolant or oil. Thinking it’s gotta be the rack?
how long did this process take, could it be done in a day?
Took me about 6 hours to do, That's me not knowing the next step and looking up stuff as I go. lol

Why did you flush the system at the cooler?
I was switching over to a better redline fluid in hopes that it would stop boiling on drift days. It still boils unfortunately. Will be getting a better cooling solution for the ps system in the future.
Evo broke.. you paid extra for that solenoid, you could have just bought a rp without it. They sell them with the block off bolt.
I got my rack from Z1 unfortunately there was no option to have a block off bolt, they will send you everything with the rack.
Next time show how you pulled it out not “So I got it out”
The only thing holding the rack in the car at that point was the steering shaft u joint itself. Once that was off it was free from the car. Not much to show really.
