Have a 2013 370z for about a year , have no blind spots , don't understand why people say that. The car sits so low that if you adjust your mirrors correctly you have no blind spots . You aren't supposed to turn your head all the way back to look out back window while driving anyways , that would be a major hazard .
Haven't owned 40+ cars but this is I believe my 24th car , some being sedans some suvs and surprisingly the 370z has less blind spots than any car I've driven .
Never watched this video. Didn't need to. I've had my Nismo now for 5 months and I'm more in love with it today then when I first got it. I still stare at it everytime I park. The suspension is so stiff that the car is literally glued to the road on corners. It's why I have over 3grand in speeding tickets. Unbelievably awesome car!
I bought a 2019 370Z base + sport pkg 6MT in the same color as your car, Magnetic black. I bought it new and paid about $33k for it. My sport pkg Z had the upgraded Bose 10-speaker audio with two subwoofers under the rear deck floor. I broke the engine in very gently and did it over an extended distance, with the result that it appears to use no oil on the dipstick at the end of my 3k mile oil change intervals, using Nissan ester oil and an oversize Fram Ultra Synthetic filter. My average gas mileage was about 21 mpg, combined highway/city. I was able to get 36 mpg on level ground in 6th gear at 60mph on the highway. Last year I had a Stillen long-tube cold air intake, a Fast Intentions x-pipe cat back exhaust and a dyno tune on Ecutek software. We went from 280 peak rear wheel horsepower to 321 hp on the Dynojet chassis dyno. this would be equivalent to about 380 peak hp at the crank. My mileage dropped down to about 18 mpg for city/high way and 28 mpg on the highway in 6th gear. Hotchkis anti-roll bars on the front and rear with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2(240) tires improved handling nicely. Braided stainless steel brake lines firmed up the brake pedal. I'm currently in the process of installing a set of forged magnesium wheels from Litespeed Racing in LA. This will shave about 9 lbs from each of the corners over the OEM Ray's 9" x 19" - F, 10" x 19" - R forged aluminum wheels. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires are about 6 lbs lighter than the original OEM Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires that came on the car. If you adjust the center and outside rear-view mirrors correctly you will have no blind spots in the adjacent lanes. The only blind spot is when you're backing out of an angle parking spot and want to see what traffic is coming. You can adjust the passenger seat's front/back position and seat back tilt to get a view out of the quarter window.
The only thing I would add is when your tire gets in a rut/a long crack filler in the road it feels like it really pulls you in that direction more than most cars I’ve driven.
@@offgridas yup I’ve driven dozens of 370z at my work all of them fell that way and also a little light on their feet at 130+ almost like the front is lifting up a little
Agree about the gas mileage..I had one for a rental over 4 days... on the highway,it said 23mpg but on mountain roads ect, im pretty sure it was getting what ur getting... I could see the guage drop so quickly as you drove it hard, you'd almost think ur tank had a hole in it! LOL. I never noticed the headrest issue ,probably becuz I dont drive with my head On the headrest... However, my lower back started really bothering me after a few hrs in the seat.. no adjustment would alieviate it.
Also gas mileage depends how hard you drive the car , I got sport touring with gps and nice seats and manual, I get 13mpg because I drive like an asshole 90% of the time , car is completely stock except billet fuel pump tophat . I also bought zspeed stage 2 quiet clutch with cmak delete kit , haven't installed yet hopefully this upcoming week my mechanic gets back into town.
The z1 non-turbo package is a significant step up from stock performance but be wary of fuel pressure issues without upgraded fuel components. Get a CSC delete clutch. The stock one can die anywhere from brand new to 10 years out. Don’t pay a dealership to fix your steering wheel lock problem. Just pull the 10A fuse while the power is on. Look up the procedure, it’s easy. Get an upgraded oil cooler as soon as possible. Your oil temp will drop from 220 degrees to below 180 degrees. Don’t be cheap like me and get springs.m without shocks. My NISMO shocks are finally dead in front so now I had to buy BC True Coilovers. The Tesla style screen might seem pricey but is 100% worth it!
Gotta 2018 Nismo M6 - As a Canadian, I can only drive this car 7 months of the year if I'm lucky with the snow and ice. You can't even beat a school bus across an intersection. Otherwise - SUPER HAPPY with it. The stock Ricaro's tape you into the car, the suspension makes you want to quadrouple posted ramp speeds. You can lose the back end and the front end stays straight on the rail!
If you need to save more to buy an m4 don’t do it until you can afford to meticulously maintain it. It’s my dream car and I almost said fuck it but I know better than to just make a jump like that unprepared. 370z is perfect for my situation which seems to be the same as yours

We just got a 2014 sport touring manual in black cherry and it is a real hoot for us to drive every time. Wife has had 3 others and we REALLY dig these little scooters. Paid less than $17K for it. I agree with the weird seat angle as a tall dude myself.
Here's my list of 5 things you need to know that helped me buy my 370z. 1. Someone who's selling a 370z 2. How to transfer money 3. How to transfer registration 4. How to breathe oxygen 5. How to drive a car
I have a 2018 370Z heritage 6sp stick same black color. It's my 3 season fun car here in the upper midwest. I have left it stock I prefer it that way and I have a factory 7/100 warranty. It shares my garage with 2 2019 Nissan Frontiers a ex cab and a crew cab. I have had great luck with Nissans.
I bought a 2020 brand new with 6 speed manual. Per the guage the overall mpg is 26. I drive good, bad and coast in neutral a lot. I think that’s pretty darn good.
2 major things you need to know: At night EVERYONE has their high beams on. Wear sunglasses. Every pothole/speedbump/uneven road surface will make you uncomfortable.
I went from a 350z sport, which was fun because I drove it on the autobahn in Germany for a few years, to a V1 NISMO 370z. The performance is not even in the same ball park. A few upgrades on the 370z and it pulls hard on the top end. It’s definitely a road racing car.
I dont know how anyone that large could comfortably fit in these Z cars..Im 5'7'' and i feel like the seat is a visegrip on my lats and the cockpit feels cramped... I can only imagine being 6'2'' in there!

That's mostly due to alignement, isn't ?
Have a fbo fully gutted e85 9th Gen si and I’m getting my 2010 Nissan 370 in about 15 days delivered im so anxious to start a new build

There is a 2014 370z going for 18k with 61k miles… is that a good deal? I feel like I can save more and just buy a m4 or Supra

What is the difference between 350z and 370z ?
Id say main difference is 370z is more refined with more HP. It’s shorter and wider than the 350z.
