Thanks for sharing. We loved our Camino Portugues in 2022 as well. Be carful, I think your getting hooked!
I know I am hooked, completed the central route last September and doing it again this September.
I'm on a treadmill now, training for an unscheduled Camino. I love watching your videos while walking. Thanks.
That is awesome! buen camino!
I’m heading to Porto tomorrow and will start on the coastal route on Thursday. I did the Frances last Fall and will do the Del Norte in September. I’m totally hooked!!!
incredible!! bon caminho!!
Portugal has been really lovely. Enjoyed going along.
it's such an incredible country :)
Yes, incredible country: GALICIA.
@@placidobaamonde6374 oops. Sorry. They are both lovely.
Its the final countdown!!!!
🎉🥳🚶🏻♀️🚶🏼♂️
So nice to see you both so much more relaxed, stopping to enjoy local foods along the way and appreciating the beauty around. Can’t wait to see you make it to the final destination.❤
YOU are the legends, and its been too long!
Of course, café con leche! And further powered with chocolate & orange!
It's like the longest journeys we've taken. When we got near the end, we had to savor the moments, because we didn't want it to end.
COWS! Are they like Wisconsin cows?
Bread, empanadas, mega soup and beer. Amazing. And the rest of that meal...wow. AND REALLY CHEAP!
You mean you didn't want to run a mega-marathon once you saw the 50km sign and finish it in six hours or so?
Locals will hear your "spike the ball at the five yard line" and most of them will be like, "HUH?"
Yeah, don't film at night.
I love the story, the reason for the Camino. That, and the seafood...oh yeah.
Looking forward to your last few days! We are leaving Porto on the coastal route beginning of May!
Buen Camino
I am so proud of both of you , truly inspirational
☺️ thank you always for your kindness :) this was the day we were feeling like we were going to miss the camino!
@@LisaAndJosh truly unwavering determination and laser focused persistency
Ciao guys! 👋 👋
Greetings from Greenwich London ⚓️ ⛵️
Cheers 🫖☕️👍🌹✅
Great video
Ahhh you guys are making us want to do this 😅 for sure the Coastal route though, it looks gorgeous!
ahh hope you guys get to sometime soon, it's such a unique, cool journey :)
Man, that looked like a beautiful day.
It was incredible :)
Los paisajes más bonitos son los del recorrido del Camino por Galicia. Rías y bosques. Sí, Lisa and Josh, Galicia "incredible country".
I must admit that now you are begining to act like peregrinos, not just walkers, therefore you are begining to enjoy it more.
For the most part the Caminos are very safe ... Spain takes every pilgrim's safety very seriously. If you know of or experience an incident, you should report it to the police or to the next albergue.
Love your video! So motivating! You should visit Lebanon, it’s the best country in the middleast 😊
Hey Didn't you guys walk the Camino Frances? How far behind am it? LOL Enjoy your videos, am subscribed and like of course. I just saw your answer to a comment about Airalo. That sounds awesome...I clicked on the link and downloaded the App. Thanks so much.
thanks for finding us and coming along the journey! and yes!! we did the Camino Frances in summer of 2021 (with a lot of other travels after that!) :)
Why did it take you so long to walk this route? I'm on the same route right now. I did see some of your videos before I left. I'm at day 4 or 5 walking and am at Viladesuso.
I planned on starting the day after arriving, but I had energy, and on my afternoon arrival, I walked 10 miles and used the metro to get back to the hotel and back the next day to where I left off at.
Where are the cats at the end of each video. I used those that hot spring, helped heal a sprained right ankle.
our sweet bud Octavius passed away last September ❤️ awesome you got to use the hot spring :)
Great stuff today..haha.. drunk naked people 😅😅
Do you buy a SIM card for your phones while there or do you have a carrier that works in EU? How are receptions while walking this route?
we use Airalo-- more info here: tp.st/PXPWutxq --for most of the countries we are traveling to and we haven't any problems at all getting reception while walking
@@LisaAndJosh so i have an international plan on my phone which i have used on lots of trips without issues. do you still recommend Airalo for someone like me?
that's great you have a plan that works for you! we found our plans to be more expensive for us for datawhen we travel internationally, which is why we like the specific eSIMs for each country--we've found that they've just better deals and we don't have to get rid of our normal plans
Did you guys have nicer food than you on the French way? It looks this route is prettier and has nicer food from what you are showing...
You’ve never mentioned bedbug worries?
Drunk naked people! Way funny.
