    62yrs old wife and I just completed the Camino Portuguese to Santiago, returned home to Hawaii (Pearl City-Palisades) this past Wednesday....the experience was profound, we're talking about our next Camino....Mahalo's for sharing your post, Me being a former U.S. Marine I'm use to carrying tons of crap on my back, at this age I had to rethink my carry kit...your Mana'o truly helped us focus minimizing our Camino carry kit. Keep up the great post, you guyz Rocken it .....

    I started in France the 1st of May. I am now in Portugal about halfway to Lisbon. You guys made it look way easier than it was! Lol. However, I have not broken down in tears yet but as a solo 72 year old grandma.....I have been tempted. I need to upgrade my cell phone skills. Thanks guys.

    After 20years doing various caminos I love your stuff. So enthusiastic and hysterical in that fun loving chaos that is the crux of the Camino. You're trying to help others and proving why it's so wild and wonderful just proving how innocent our existence is. You will one day take a month off and enjoy it, get fitter and chuckle at these. Keep going you two are superb. Love it and every wee whine reminds me of why I need to get back out and talk about the pinkie test and drinking water. The pinkie test isn't about prostate issues it's just the weight of a rucsac! 😅 Thanks guys 😂 I love it

    Glad you turned a corner Lisa! Rest days are the best way to allow your Camino legs to come into being - the constant walking transforms into fitness rather than exhaustion.

    Cheers Lisa and Josh, loving the easy way you are managing your Camino despite “food poisoning.”
    The Frances seemed to throw everything at you, and I’ll admit, I did not think you would emerge wanting to give it another go.
    I love the Camino and would go more often, health and wealth permitting.😎 but it’s a long trip from Australia 🇦🇺
    Still we are talking about 2024 as a possibility for our sixth Camino and we may “mix and match” to get in some of the places we would like to see,
    in a more relaxed way.
    So glad to follow your journey. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

    Great information on packing.
    Question…do you ever feel like lingering around a town or area during your Camino?

    • @LisaAndJosh
      @LisaAndJosh  Год назад +1

      definitely!! we absolutely loved Logroño on the Camino Frances and decided to stay another night. And this route, we stayed in Vigo another night because we loved the town so much.

    Is the Portuguese route that light with traffic? Wanting to go this September, but was hoping that more pilgrims would be present

      we were there in the off season, in February, which is why we think it was emptier than usual. We've heard it's more popular in the spring and fall! :)
