I’m coming to the end of the company car lease I currently have on my PS2. The 4 is my first choice, I’m just gonna have to wait until I get my log on to see how much it’s gonna cost me. I have the PS2 for 3 years and hope that the PS4 over 4 years will be a similar cost. I’ll have to wait and see. If it’s too expensive I really don’t have much of a plan B. Fisker Ocean maybe. There’s not a lot out there I like beyond Polestar. What else do you like the look of Dale? Oh, and I share your concerns about a dog in the back. Though I think it’ll be fine. he won’t like it but he’s gonna have to suck it up!
To be honest, with current car prices etc, I am not sure what I would get after the Polestar 2 to be honest. My plan was to keep it for 4 years anyway, so one more year to go. I probably wont buy new again, and the lease prices seem mental at 1k a month, so we shall see.
Hi Dale, only just watched this video as I am away. Informative as always but I am no great fan of Polestar having been to their showroom at Cribbs Causeway a couple of times. Ridiculously expensive for what you get without the options. As for the finance deals, no thanks. Looking forward to your next content. Hope to see it soon
I've never really understood the appeal of leasing and PHP finance deals. Effectively, you're paying the most expensive periods of a car's depreciation and it's being bundled into monthly payments to make it seem more affordable. Yes you get a nice new car but there's a huge cost with that. On the contrary, if you outright buy a used car that is 2 or 3 years old, drive it for about 3 years, then sell and repeat the same cycle. You get a different car every 3 years for a fraction of the cost. Okay, you don't own it since new but a 2 or 3 year old car is still not bad.
Agree. I think if you want a NEW new car though, its hope you choose to afford it. I think the growth in people leasing, has also pushed up the price of cars
I’m a P2 owner, and considering a p4. Looks amazing.
It does, still not sure about the lack of glass in the rear.

I just orderd the P4. Best car for sure!!
Cancelled my P4 order, very underwhelmed by Polestar UK as a company and the unveiling of it in Solihull was a disaster. Sticking with BMW
:( thats disappointing. Still not seen the P4 properly in the flesh yet.
I would like to have the ZF adjustable suspension, but not the 22” wheels, because They eat so much range.
They look nice though :)

Polestar certainly position themselves as a "premium" brand, but I agree prices of cars are getting crazier each year.
Cheers for watching.

Hopefully the growth in people leasing will provide more options for those who buy 2-3 year old cars
Leasing can you take on your company and so on. So you dont really lose any money on it. Bit private lease might be a bit dorky.
