    Do they all come with the extra temples and noise pads? Got a pair picked up today no extra nose pads and no extra temples or socks

    I want to change my color of cross link frames and keep my expensive lenses. Can I buy the frames and put my lenses from my cross links into a new pair of cross links ?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  2 года назад

      You sure can! We'll need to get the frame in hand to transfer and install the lenses but give us a call and on of our opticians can assist in setting up an order for you! 888.831.5817

    The idea of a "work & play" pair of eyeglasses is awesome. I wish I'd found out about the Crosslink series sooner. I work both in the office and outdoors and am a recreational cyclist. The idea of one pair of eyeglasses for all these activities is just mint! I'm really digging the Crosslink BUT it's way out of my budget (my insurance won't cover it). Can you please recommend other brands (and what models) that offer this kind of "hybrid" glasses? Thanks in advance.

    I wonder y CL Sweep is not available in optical shops anymore.?

      The Crosslink Sweep is a classic! Unfortunately it's also discontinued :( But take a look at the Crosslink family and most notably the mnp frame!

    The 55 mm is meant to be measured, at the largest distance on the lens. So, across from the top corner to the bottom opposite corner.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  8 лет назад +1

      Hi Stephan, we usually go for the A size, which is measured from the largest part of the lens horizontally. If you're measuring the ED then the correct way is to go from top corner to the bottom opposite corner.

    Do they have any type of safety rating impact or anything can you use them at work for safty glasses

      @sportrxeyewear  6 лет назад +1

      Hello Johnny! The frames and lenses are not safety rated. You can check out more Oakley safety rated glasses here: www.sportrx.com/shopby/brand-oakley/certification-ansi_z87_1-ansi_z87_1_2010-ansi_z87_1ansi-mil_prf_31013/product_type-sunglasses.html. Thanks for reaching out!

      That depends on the lenses you get, if you get shatter resistant lenses from your optometrist then yes of course 😅

    what can you say about the unobtanium durability? I've read a lot of bad comments saying that it falls apart within a few months of use.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  7 лет назад

      It definitely lasts longer than a few months! That being said, the more rigorous the use, the sooner they can wear, but Oakley is also great about having replacement ear socks and nose pads for when that happens. The hydrophilic nature of the material, which makes them tackier when one sweats, is good for function, but it is absorbing oils. That does affect the material, so replacement is usually desirable around the two-year mark, in our experience.

    I was ready to buy the MNP when I noticed it doesn't have the holes on the back of the arms to accommodate the Oakley headstrap like the regular Crosslink.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  8 лет назад

      Yeah, we wish that it had the notches for the strap, too! There are always generic straps that work, but they just are not the same…

    • @TheWuxian
      @TheWuxian 8 лет назад

      The arms from the regular crosslink (with the holes on the back) aren't compatible with the MNP?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  8 лет назад

      TheWuxian They are compatible! We cannot customize a new frame order and trade the new temples with the older ones, but we can order a set of the old temples along with it!

      Yes it is! The O Matter frame material is very flexible and impact resistant.

      @@sportrxeyewear What about the temples? Are they pretty durable or are they more fragile because they're removable?

    Are the extra nose pads sold separately? How many nose pads do I get with my frame?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 года назад

      That is a great question! You should receive four nose pads total, with one being mounted in the frame already. It is possible to order more, but parts can be tough to come by with Oakley.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  7 лет назад +1

      Ooh...that's a good question. The first place we would think to go is any Oakley Dealer near you. They would have access to ordering that for you. We tried looking that up on Oakley.com for you, but the map never updated. While we do ship internationally, the shipping fee would likely be more than would be worth it for you.
