Don’t come for me in the comments but the last 8 weeks we have been playing like Man Utd have been all season. Easy to play against, easy to play through our midfield, our defence is all over the place and we look like conceding every single time the opposition attack.
100%, not to point fingers it's a team game but new / newer players have lacked. Some have shown spells of greatness but overall, especially recently the midfield have been careless. Silly passes ECT, loss of focus and getting bullied. One stupid pass hand they're straight through on goal.
Senior players have lacked also I must add but need a shake up in midfield and upfront!

But we've been poor in the first half of most games this season, often going a goal down.
Was similar to 2014, May, at Palace. 3 goals, commanding, 11mins to go, 3-3, like WTF. This time, 1-3 up, 5mins normal time, 3 mins later, 3-3. When a goal like Duran's 2nd goes in, what can you say?? All season, defending has been our weakness, covered by victories. Again, scoring more than we're conceding.
The conceding has caught up with us, as well as possible fatigue and injury recoveries. Add to this not finishing the deluge of created chances, and it's why we've faltered at the business end of the season. We had the title in our hands, and we let it go.
Fair play to Villa, they're in the CL for next season, not since 1982, I like their courage and playability, they deserve it. Imagine both Arsenal and City lost over the weekend, and we needed the win for a glimpse of a chance of catching them.....
We need to talk about Trent! Once again he has been really poor. If he offers nothing going forward then he offers nothing to the team as he just doesn’t even try to defend anymore. He can’t play right back next season, he just can’t. He doesn’t run enough to justify a nailed on place in midfield either, regardless of his world class passing ability. Seems crazy but unless his attitude changes dramatically, I just don’t see how he can be first 11.

Slot I believe will do a great job I think he will surprise a lot of people . One thing he is is a great communicator and will be able to communicate his message effectively. Think feynord have 2nd best defence in Europe behind arsenal. We conceded the same goal twice (one being offside) - inexcusable.
We got so used to those late minute goals when Liverpool were at their peak days of Henderson marne firminio. But that team had fight within them and had leaders. The hunger desire to play to the final whistle. I have not seen that will to win, let alone roll up your sleeves and fight. We are forgiving if u put in a shift but when u coputulate easily and give up a lead feels like u just don't care playing for Liverpool should be enough motivation to turn up for every game rather than just go through the motions. If u look at arsenal this season the seem focused hungry determined and organised. We have lacked those qualities. Hope the back the new manger financially. We all need a lot to smile about next season. Thanks for memories, klopp, but a fresh start has come at the right time

Explain to me what the hell Van Dyke is doing playing a ball through his penalty area trying to get it between 2 Villa Players to the edge of our penalty box, when Macca as a man on him and his facing Alison. Gomez is free on Van Dyke left with a no risk ball 15 yards and We have taken 4 Villa player out of th game ... Van Dyke is the biggest liability this team as and that is a 100% fact. So this is a bad bad season? Things to improve on definitely, fresh approach needed with new gaffer reset refocus not too bad this season main objective accomplished champions league and a domestic piece of silverware .

One thing we can all learn from klopps departure. If you are in a job and you are unhappy, tired, and lacking passion enthusiasm for your role leave the job. Most people in society can't afford to just walk out of a job before finding another one. So remember guy's find a new job first otherwise u have no safety net. Know matter how miserable you are find a new job first then leave. It's about your happiness. It's not worth dragging your feet into work every day if your love for what u do has gone. Do what makes u happy whatever energy you project is contagious to those u come in contact with. Stay happy people
As a lifelong red, can you have a conversation about what a superb & entertaining game this 3-3 was? We was the away team scored 3. Many times Liverpool have score late goals. Had a decent season, CL football next season & won a trophy.

Two players need to be moved on, they aren't gonna get any better than they already are , Curtis & Nunez they're just Championship players who unfortunately lack consistency.

A fresh approach is badly needed. Jurgen's departure should be the springboard for new thinking and tackling the underlying weaknesses which have let this team down on too many occasions. There can be no sacred cows: every player in every position has to be justified. The team cannot go on carrying players whoever they are and wherever they play.
