    Hello, Chef. I am in culinary school in the United States and tomorrow have my practical exam. I am assigned to do 2 Indian dishes with chicken and I have chosen your tandoor chicken recipe. Fortunately, I have a full-sized tandoor oven to use. Thank you so much for this recipe, I'll be sure to give you credit tomorrow after I complete the dish. Again, thank you and all the best to you.

    Chef Harpal, Love your videos, just found them about a week ago. I am not Indian but trying to learn to cook in the traditional Indian fashion...and getting pretty good at it. Your videos are both fascinating and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. I am now more inspired to try new dishes and spices. The Indian markets in my city are one of my favorite places, as soon as I walk in, the aromas and spices call out to me, now I'm getting to know more about them. Please if you can, post a short video or videos explaining which spices and ingredients go best together and which to avoid mixing. Thank You Chef.I love your youtube channel; I iwll also be looking for your website if you have one.

    Hung yogurt is also known as Labneh, for anyone wondering. I used a labneh sold by Sierra Nevada cheese company and sold as Creme Kefir. Cooked this in the oven (that wonderful tandoor is not an option for me as I have a electric stove) and the broiler for color at the end and came out great.

    I'm all the way in Guyana, South America. I've had Tandoori chicken before in another country. I want to cook Tandoori chicken for my family but i'm not sure of getting all the ingredients over here, is it possible to use other ingredients? I absolutely love this particular tandoori chicken and would like to make it a home made special for my family...

    By the way your Tandori chicken receipe is very good 👍 I tried today..I added my own receipe as well turned out to be very delicious.
    Instead of adding chat Massala on the top in the end...I added it with other INGRIDENTS...but after cooking...keep on brusing with butter only ...in the end butter and mint gell ( we get here in the big stores) on top of it..it went on a different level alltogether. I COOK ON A ELECTRIC GRILL...GIVES THE EFFECT OF YOUR TANDOOR.

    • @chefharpalsingh
      @chefharpalsingh  4 года назад

      Wow Rene thank you for following and that Mint Jelly idea is very interesting. In fact even in India in all top 5 star hotels we actually pour butter over Tandoori chicken in intervals.

    Chef, the tandoori chicken was magnificent. I love Indian food, so I seek to learn how to cook it. I took your advice and bought the Tandoori Gas Oven, and I’m glad I did. Naan bread made on the oven is soooooo good! Thank you Chef Singh. Please do a dum briyani recipe, lamb, chicken, or goat. My favorite dish!!
