    I don't care much for butter chicken however, this is the best butter chicken ever - better than any restaurant. Made this for a 75+ people for a house party some years ago and everyone raved about it. Made it again yesterday - fantastic. Thank you Chef.

      @@chefharpalsingh I have been. Nowadays people like fancy videos like the food lab or webspoon even the Japanese ones - no talking just noises of cooking and my fave veg village food (a seva pandemic sucess)... instead of beautiful basics with real substance and flavour. Not taking away from others and you should have way more followers than them - you're recipes and flavours are supreme.

    Bhaji. I hv been watching your recipes from more than 4 yrs now.All my friend circle relishes the dishes I make following your recipes. So simple and yet full of taste. It helped me a lot , since there are not many good places here in US for authentic Indian food, unless you are in california. Would like to see Lamb chop recipe for grilling. Thanks

    Chef, I love your recipes. But curious.. no bay leaf, or coriander powder or garam masala in this recipe? Does it sometimes go in butter chicken?

    I have two questions chef:
    1. To make boneless, can we replace to chicken tikka instead?
    2. For veg people, can we use same gravy to make paneer makhni?

      For best results use boneliness, skinless chicken thigh. They come out more juicy than breast.

    Hello chef.
    I dont have the provisions to make tandoori chicken, can I use normal chicken with some kind of marinade? Or should the spices of the tandoori chicken I shall add separately in the gravy?

      Debrup tandoori chicken is required for butter chicken, you will lose on the smoky flavor and taste will change.
      you can make tandoori chicken in pan, pressure cooker or oven. here is the link

    Many people use garam masala powder in this dish.

      Better not use Garam Masala. It will make your dish dark. If you want to Garam masala, just sprinkle after the dish is cooked. I am novice but ask Mr. sokhi for his comments

    1. How much tandoori chicken ( weight) for this recipe
    2. How much tomato puree if we substitute instead of 1kg tomato

      you can used 400 gram tandoori chicken for recipe and if you substitute tomatoes from the puree. it comes to 2 cups.🙂

    Sir mera ek sawal hai. Chicken curry banate samay Chicken pieces kitna time tak pakana chahiye ta ki soft rahe, kaisi aanch rehni chahiye? Ghar mai chicken resturant jaisa nehi banta. Hard ho jata hai.

      Do not add cream and put in the freezer when you reheat at that point of time you can add cream..

      You may be able to buy UHT Pure cream, or you could use plain or Greek yoghurt or Coconut cream but whipping cream generally contains gelatine and isn't good for cooking, any fresh cream will work such as sometimes named cooking cream, as long as it has no additives in such as gelatine. I am surprised you can't get pure cream in the US, we are so lucky here in Australia, we have such variety of foods from all around the world due to our massively multicultural society.

      The original recipe nobody uses onions, it is only to reduce costing and increase quantity.

      The only thing that i can think is the quality of tomatoes, there is no other ingredient that brings the tartness in it..
