@@carolhariramani8831 hi, sorry for the late reply. I cook tomatoes for atleast 15 minutes to make them less sour. And from 9:20 - dont let chilli powder burn, cook it for 1-2 minutes on low flame, then add the prepared paste and DO NOT add water during this step and let it cook for 5-6 minutes till oil seperates stirring occasionally so it does not burn, then add chicken in it and cook with the sauce and now you can add water. Also, at 10:07 you do not need to change the cooking vessel, just keep cooking in the same one.

I have tried nearly 6 different butter chicken recipes but this one turned out to be the best. Not even kidding. Other videos do not tell you about the elaichi, kasuri methi to be added in the end and it DOES make a huge difference.

This is unrelated but i saw some other mutton curry recipes, where in some you pre-marinate for 1or2hrs before cooking whereas for other recipes you cook the mutton without marination even those most ingredients would be same. Is there a reason? Is 1 way better than the other? I didn't get a response to my question on your mutton curry video so trying it here. Thanks would appreciate.

Whenever I have tried recipes by chef Ashok, they have turned yum. He explains so well. मैंने आज ही yeah recipe try की थी... इतनी lazabab बनी की kya कहें... बिल्कुल restaurant जैसी... सारे steps follow किए और मसालों को उसी proportion मे डाला जैसा कि bataya गया था... मजा आ गया

I have only recently started cooking chicken recipes. And many times the chicken overcooks and becomes chewy…. Entire effort goes waste. But, but but…. Whenever I have tried recipes by chef Ashok, they have turned yum. He explains so well.
I had tried this butter chicken recipe when a bunch of friends were coming over, one of them has been in restaurant business for more than 20 years…so obviously I was pretty nervous. But man what magic happened that day… everybody simply loved the butter chicken.
