Couple of tips for my felow H sledgehammer players. 1) Light = Overhead attack or Normal attack + quick melee Mid = Overhead attack + Normal attack or 2x Normal attack + quick melee Heavy = Overhead attack + Normal attack + quick melee or 3x normal attack + quick melee 2) Use overhead sledgehammer attack to destroy stairs and damage entities behind walls to kill players that run away from us. 3) In CQC maps like building in Las vegas / Seul / Monaco / Fortune station you are the guy who can flank the fastest from your team. Just keep fight in a building and destroy walls until you flank them. 4) Use barricades to boost yourself vertically. Helpfull on a maps with higher ceilings (las vegas/fortune stadion/kyoto/Sys horizon). 5) You can shorten distance quickly by sliding and putting barricades or just run away. 6) if you throw dome to enemy he cant hurt you but he can move out of dome. Throw it in a half distance to your enemy to maximalize cover that dome gives you. 7) If you miss whinch throw but enemy walk in to any length of a whinch he will be catch anyways. 8) Always taunt on a lights death trophy
huge tip from a sledge goo main: you can press crouch DURING your attacks (namely your power attack) to slide forward during the swing. This is an essential gap closer for hitting basically anyone as it functions like a mini lunge
melee heavy is the only thing that beats my flamethrower. and ive gone fire to combat lights and mediums. it WORKS. i hate lights much much less since burning them alive nonstop. 1 pass from fire 80%s em
The truth that heavies with melee is so powerful if they surprise me but other than that i destroy them with the light build every time They can't even get close because of the zipline hit and run stratgy until i kill them or just leave the rest for my teammates But heavies with lewis gun , dual gun , m60 is just nightmare i can't take them down in 1 vs 1 unless they are noobs
You wait on cool down and when you're in the open you're dead. Gun Heavy feel much better since you can both have a charge and long range weapon, no other class would wanna trade with you.
taking fire. Barricade goes down in half a sec. Then use goo nades to create a path out of the open. Then you need to start wondering why you are even out in the open.
I love playing heavy but the main downside is being too slow. I hate how slow embark made the heavy class. I know it’s a whole part of the 3 class system but if the heavy class got a little buff on speed like 15% or 20% I’ll be happy
@@DarkNodachi Heavies are literal food for a sword player. 2 lunge + melee and they pop right of. If they aim well do one lunge + melee, run away and do it again, they take twice as long to heal compared to a light
@@DarkNodachi Do you use the super dash ? It allows to straight up destroy sledge heavies because you can hit them then be out of range with a single dash and they need to have an absolutely perfect timing to get you
People say heavy is too slow, but I find myself doing 16 things at once to stay alive. Nothing slow about it.
I've heard people say Heavy doesn't have a movement ability. I say those people haven't been using the goo gun to its full potential.
Or the anti grav cube, I use it to get high ground easily
Hell yes! My favourite ability. Defence/ obstruction and movement
Goo nade is an absolutely amazing period. If there's no fire on the enemy team, it's better than baracade. And climbable.
Goo gun help get access to higher locations but doesn’t really let you traverse the map faster like a medium or light can .

Second this, essential when playing sledge! It can make you harder to be shot at too
Works a bit like slide on sword, except it works better when charging a lunge
Smash lights, impale lights, batter lights, slice lights, stab lights.
I love the melee options in this game
Excellent video sir, I hope to see you in The Finals!
you have an amazing voice bro

This is a heavy video, but I couldn't help commenting as I main dual blades (and bow), enjoyed the dual blades clip during intro.
Look out for the blades in a future video
should slide and use dome as a gap closer too for heavy melee
🔥🔥🔥
I really want to start using the sledgehammer; it's the only weapon I haven't given a fair shot yet.
Your missing out

How does this guy not have more subscribers an I think I just realised that isn’t actually his voice
Actually idk, that might be his actual voice
Dude as a heavy you should be the one in the middle of the fight protecting your team not standing off at sniper distance like a light

@@thememeking8079 slow but powerful friend.
*perhaps i was rough on you*
Heavy is probably the most played class in ranked dude wdym?
0:06 Melee?
My only question is why 3 sensitivity?
Why is your FOV so low?
I need teammates anyone wanna play?
as a light main i LOVE that people dont play the op tank + dps dealer class cuz it can do more dps than me and has more then 2x health then me
unless theyre using winch, basically anyone can escape them easily by just turning around and holding W
