The most hilarious frito misto I have had was in Edinburgh. Just off Prince’s Street called La Lanterna. Someone’s grand child had been practicing squinty eyed portraits of nominally Italian folk like Sophia Lauren and Frank Sinatra and they were displayed throughout the room, along with a sound track of fascist martial music. The food had all the usual suspects, squid, prawns etc. but it also had clams in their shells and frog legs both in batter.

You need to watch a few of John Kirkwoods RUclips videos for advice and guidance on video production.

Any suggestions on what to do with a saucepan full of leftover oil? What do people usually do?

Drain it to get rid of the bits of batter and store it in a bottle/container to be reused again - either for normal cooking or deep frying again.

@@c.d.c9425 Ideally, drain it through a piece of kitchen roll, you want to make sure you haven't got any bits of flour or batter in the oil when you store it, as this can make it go rancid quicker (or worse, botulism)

"Can you hear the change of the oil there now?" No, because there's a piano playing in the next room and you're speaking over it.
P.S. Please reduce the sound of everything else when we're supposed to be listening to the cooking thx

I agree...it is quiet but really, quite unnecessary...Ricks words, the sound of cooking....moments of silence....many people I think choose to watch RUclips to have some personal space, free time, down time...they like to observe without their senses being over loaded.
