Morning hike at local Texas state park - check it out

Texas state park system has over 80 parks. Now that I have a yearly park pass, I’m excited to announce I’ll be spending more time visiting and camping, for hiking and more. Starting with parks closer to home. Lake Corpus Christi has a few trails I cover them all in 1.5 hour. Morning is best for May in Texas hot temperatures. Here is a quick view.

Glad to see another adventure. That old pavilion was beautiful. I think with the price of gas we will be staying within a few hours from home and so that means a lot state parks this year.

I have never been to this State Park even though it's fairly close by.. I need to go check it out. I think the Pavilion was awesome to see.

Well worth the five bucks to get it. We go during the week because we are retired and hard to get res last moment for weekend. Spend the day, or just pickup dinner after work and picnick watch the sun go down - maybe a quick dip in the lake. A short nature soaking !
