luke kelly has such an awesome voice .. this one song that will never go away it will be with us forever its that great of a song. 300 years and still going strong its just amazing.
Terrific version of this classic Dubliners number. Luke certainly was in fine voice and there's an immediacy about the performance - he's not just 'singing the number' - it carries you along with it. I don't think I've heard this version before. Are there any more recordings from this concert? Cheers Mitcherooney
I´m enjoying more and more the Dubliners live recordings.........Dubs sound great!! I´ve noteduke Kelly changed the words.......the mountains from where he said??? TIA
that's ok, it doesn't bother me at all! This picture i found on the web, but it was really hard to get a good copy of it, so if you want I can send it to you by email..just let me know.
Lol, no that was just that one song;) I got this from the Lp 'live at the Albert Hall'. And I think it's also on the cd 'Best of the original Dubliners'..
Thanks very much for uploading this and other tracks from that fantastic Royal Albert Hall concert. The atmosphere is terrific, more like a pub around 10pm than a posh venue. I used to have the CD but since I moved to streaming, I haven’t been able to find recording. Any songs from that concert are worth listening to - they’re real treasures. Thanks again.
Love this ,was there with my girlfriend when it was recorded ,asked her to marry me on the way home ,have been wed now for 46 years this july.

One of the greatest voices ever, if not the best. (set the playback speed to 1.25 for a big ol' hit of dopamine).
