Yep a very fun build, I had the original FOX in 1985 and between that and the nova fox there's very little change to the build and just like the 85 kit all the ball bearings were included except the 4 front!!! Great kit my first. P/S the kit today is about $100 less then the 85 kit!!!!
Hi Paul, hope you’re keeping well. I like the look of that Nova Fox, it looks almost like it’s predecessor The Fox, which I always wanted, but missed out on. Great build, just in time for the football, by the sound of things. Take care, keep well and all the best to you and the family. 😉😊😉
Cheers Craig, I bit the Bullet and bought the Tamiya set, seem good. Although I still go for my old trusted green handled one most of the time. Thanks for tuning in pal. What kits have you got planned (Incoming for Xmas)?
That Fox has come out beautiful 👌 I built myself one about 2 weeks ago , but just went box art PS4. Still looks beautiful although the driver is just full solid blue. I've fitted a 15 turn core RC motor and full bearings and she's pretty fast even with the 15 tooth pinion gear. Then I took the 18 tooth pinion gear from my Hornet so that should be lots faster. Haven't tried her yet with 18 tooth. But yeah I had the same issue with the motor wires and had to lengthen them. Also I tried putting some Louise phantom tyres and Louise Spider tyres both pre mounted and glued to Louise wheels. They don't work because of tyres rubbing against suspension arms at rear. And I really wanted to preserve the original Tamiya wheels and tyres because here in Australia Tamiya parts are really not easy to come by. The Phantom wheels and tires only use a drive pin and no hex whilst the Spider tyres and wheels use a hex but they still don't work. Does anyone out there know of a wheel and tire that will work so I can keep my Tamiya wheels and tires new? That's come out beautiful Paul 👌👍💪

Oh right. Back in 85 was this kit considered premium then ?

Good stuff, Enjoy yours. I would put some Wild one tyres and wheels on it myself as they are the same except without the chrome.

I noticed you didnt place the inner shock spacers while building the suspension. Did you eventually put them in?
I did yes, I missed them out and later put them in after noticing the front suspension was binding a little bit. Well spotted.
Nice build, the NovaFox is on my To Do list. Which motor/ ESC combo did you use? Your video of it running looks pretty quick.

@@FullOnRC nice, I like the fact it's sensored. I have a RaceStar 3100KV in a DT-03 that's non sensored.
What steering servo is that ? Can i use a Carson 502015 CS-3 Standard Servo (AS17 Fitting) - AS17 with the nova fox ?
Yerhh that should fit N.p.
Where can i buy this car?:) i have old one my self but i need orginal parts.
I got it from Modelsport UK. They re released it not long ago. Good luck
@@FullOnRC thanks:)
