Have you got your own garage yet buddy
@kellytaylor3134 no mate I'm not going back yet lol
Kevin-Albert Williams....great youtube channel.........Clutch Ninja!
Bring back the Datsun 100a for a clutch change no need to remove shitbox just remove the bolted In input shaft from offside front wheelarch remove cover from top of bellhousing and BOOOOOOM ur SORTED!!!!
Same as on the first Astras and FWD Cavaliers, full clutch change in less than an hour ! ( including tea and a fag) .
You would have thought a garage equipment manufacturer would design one of them transmission jack with height extendable castors like the castors attached to box section tubing with holes in it like an axle stand so that if you have to use 2 transmission jack atleast you could raise 1 so the wheels and legs of the other trans jack can roll under that trans jack.
The problem with common senses it's not very common mate lol
Is that the same engine and box from celica vvti 1.8 ? I did this on the ground to replace the clutch ….what fun 🤬
I do not know where abouts in Ireland you are buy i am going home tomorrow it would have been nice to meet you but as for now thanks for the video and the good tips
Hi, mate, message me on Instagram. If you are close, we can meet no problem at all.
You go to the movies to see some drama and often don't get it. Watching this short video waiting for that engine to fall out definitely offered some drama.
That stupid bolt reminds me of the original mondeo, the ones with the bottom arms that last for about 3 minutes before the bushes fail.
The passenger side (on a correct hand drive car) have the bolts going downward so when you take them out you have to cut them because they hit the gearbox.
The joys are being in mechanic😅
@@bodgitandleggitgarage Don't get me started on the "joys" of working on French cars...I might start the next apocalypse before I start the next job on a French car.
Just like the N/S/F Wishbones fitted to the Mk5/6 Golfs with the DSG Gearbox you have to remove the airbox, battery plus tray then remove gearbox mount completely so you can jack the box up so you can remove the front pivot bolt holding the wishbone on especially if your doing it on the ground and have shot a jack stand under the subframe to support it so you can't drop that.
Love your show its class but please use a tripod to show us your 2 handed mechanic skills and strap a go pro to head if possible. Love your channel coz its proper bolts snapping knuckle scraping F bombing real life.
Really appreciate your comment mate I will do thanks again
Hello, mate! Sorry to bother you, but I can't get the info anywhere. When replacing a vvt cam sprocket (on a timing belt, not chain) should I lubricate the insides of the sprocket with oil before install? Thank you.
Hi, mate, you have to be very careful. Putting oil or grease on any bolt or not? In a car, no manufacturer as far as I know. Gives you a proper t setting for this. When you introduce oil or grease you really will affect the t setting of it All you need to do is get new parts. Bolt washers or nuts, depending on what they have and t them down to manufacturer specification.
@@bodgitandleggitgarage there is a little groove, where the oil passes into the sprocket when commanded by the solenoid. I'm thinking that there is where I can also put oil. I will send you a picture on facebook.
@@razvanturcu9871 That's how the system works through oil pressure. Just put it back on dry. The car will do the rest when you are driving.
@@bodgitandleggitgarage thank you, mate! Owe you big time!
Hi Leon, do you leave the gearbox in gear ??.. like we used to do with the cars with rear wheel drive ... Keep up the good work ... The New 2018+ Skoda superb mk 3 gearbox don't have a fill plug on them... you have to measure the oil and put it in via reverse switch . Total Pain in the Ass ...
holy fook 🤣😂
😂😂😂
If they had a crash they would cave their chest in way before the air bag deployed and then the air bag will launch them back with such force they would end up with a snapped neck 😂
Yep lol
How to get a new clutch? first sell your first born son into lithium mining then give all the money to a mechanic lol
Seat over 90 deg ?....let me guess....woman driver.
😂😂😂
I got mine at 90°.. back problems 🙈
No driver there, just a passenger at the wheel. So many times I see just the top of someone's head peering over the top of the steering wheel. No peripheral view. Pathetic.
😂
