    I guess it would be too complicated to simply put the model on the face of the unit.

    I have ADT 12 years. My system not here and when I call ADT they don't either....looks like ya'll would know, you put it in. I been trying to clear low battery fault but ADT instructions and codes will not work on my screen and ADT said I would have to pay to have tech come out. That's BS. If I got to do work GIVE ME MY MODEL AND INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!

      My house came with the system installed. I have no idea how to stop the chime. I have kids that need naps and this is messing it up.

    Have recently had ADT installed in my home. Had various problems with it for the first 3 weeks. Tonight I am alone at home. Set the keypad for night-time mode - me upstairs with it off and settings on downstairs. I forgot something and ran downstairs to get it. No alarm went off when I went downstairs. What is going on?

      When you set it in night mode it's in stay and only doors and windows are activated

      I will cancel my ADT. I always have issues with ny alarm system.

    I accidentally knocked my eye glasses and they hit the wall and fell to the floor and the alarm went off. The glass room sensors I was told they are very sensitive at anything that hits the walls. 🦉

    Hi everyone.. I am the 2nd owner of a 70 year old house with a 25 year old alarm system. The owner gave me the installer code and his user code at closing. I have changed the installer code and user code now using RUclips. I do not know what the zone assignments are. I have 2 door plunger I have 3 wired motion and 2 wireless door sensors. He also said there was a key fob but 5 years ago the dog chewed it up and I would want to add 1. this is not a monitored system obviously. The reason I would like to know what devices are assigned what zones, is I want to buy a new key fob and maybe 1 or 2 more wireless motion sensors if they make them for the vista 10SE.. I watched the RUclips video on how to add a key fob but the gentleman was explaining what zone to choose. I don't want to choose a zone that's already assigned to another device. any ideas how I can get the zone assignments for the devices already put in? thank you very much everyone.

    To set time on DSC Impressa, press *6 enter security code --> enter time in military time example 1814 = 6:14pm --> enter date in xx/xx/xx format.

      The best way to deal with the DSC Impassa is to hit it repeatedly with a brick. This system will give you random comm fails and cannot be depended upon for any serious security.

    My QuickConnect alarm keypad. Wouldn’t let me disarm it this morning. So the sirens where going off at 5 in the morning.

    Any chance there are DSC ones without the DSC logo? Mine looks exactly like that one but doesn't have the logo...it has the ADT logo instead

    Need time, and Device for new door installed last week. I am unable to place system as lod door was wood but new doors fiber glass. Need someone to come and replace above. Thank you Freddie Tisdale

    My system doesn't beep and tell me what door is open when it's disarmed anymore....what gives?🤔

    The Lynx and Vista keypads are made by Ademco/Honeywell.

    I have an Ademco Honeywell wireless #5828 keypad as a second unit. Recently, I found that every morning at 1 am I would have a series of 2 beeps several times for about 45 seconds coming from this unit. Why at 1 am I nor ADT have any idea. My keypad showed no low battery or trouble message. Called ADT about three times and they had no idea what the problem was. Finally, I disconnected the 5828, and haven't has a sleepless night since. My main unit still works. I was going to look for another alarm company, but I find that ADT is still rated the best.

      PS4Gaming with Levi Hi, to turn off the chime on an ADT Quick Connect keypad you can press # + 9. If that doesn’t work, enter code + 9.

    Fun observation: you can usually tell how old a video is by observing which mobile phone is used in the video ;-)
    This video is way too old. It needs to be updated. I came here to find my model in order to replace the battery but it's not listed because the video is way too old 😞
