It occurred to me recently, Benjen is the only member in Jon's family with the relationship he was born to have with him. Catlin and Ned were hus aunt and uncle, but he believed they were his stepmother and father, he was raised believing his cousins were his half siblings, but Uncle Benjen was always going to be Uncle Benjen. I find a tiny flicker of comfort in that.
Funny he was always close to uncle benjen too some would say closer than him and Ned
“Imagine if Sansa found a bag of faces” 👀👀👀👀😅
Mr. October's face when he pieces together what the night king is doing with the dragon... absolutely priceless.
Draggin' the Dragon. Hahaha
Consistent proof that Jon Snow is the worst strategist in the history of the 7 kingdoms
@@loganwolfe7552 While I don't disagree, I'd put a vote in for Stannis. Even if he is the Mannis. Sat on an island starving, kills his brother causing everyone to defect to the opposite side, fights the equivalent of an attrition war IN Russia, against the RUSSIANS... I dunno man. He's hardcore, but I think Jon was better. Barely.
Literally 😮! 😂
Gilly did spill the beans. She dropped a big truth bomb. Lol
Facts.
but Sam misled them with magic
I liked that part that Gilly, an illitterate wildling to begin with, had come this far and picked up on a very important piece of information.
Jon had the biggest cop out on bending that knee. He "bent the knee" without actually bending the knee. The sly devil.
Whenever the thought of "plot armor" pops up, I remind myself that certain "chess pieces" ... er ... people are under the protection of the Gods.
I look back on these two episodes as the ones where things really began to go downhill. Jaime and Bronn surviving the dragon attack, Tyrion's needless and hair-brained plan to capture a wight, Gendry's Marathon run, Dany turning up on her Dragon so quickly, Jon climbing out of a freezing lake, Benjen choosing to die when he could have survived...
Randyll Tarly's politics don't make much sense.
If he is such a conservative, hard as steel about the realm, its traditions, its laws, he should not be OK with Cersei seizing the throne without having any claim to it.
Almost all the events of this season are written with the intention of “evening the odds” between Dany and Cersei. None of it really makes sense or holds up to scrutiny. Especially Tyrions endless parade of bad ideas and plans
He also said at least Cersei was born in Westeros and that Danny had no ties to this land. Wasn’t Danny born on dragonstone? Plus her family ruled Westeros for about 300 years.
@@jayc5373 The Targaryens are conquerors from Valyria - The Lannisters are from Westeros.
@@endlesscap Westeros was invaded by outside forces at least 3 times (in the canon of the world)
1) The First Men, came and stole all the land from the Children of the Forest Ending in the long Night, and a hesitant peace.
2) The Andels came and tried to wipe out the first men and the remaining children of the forest. Also leading to an eventual peace treaty
3) The Targaryens came and took over after years of war.
There may have been more referenced in the Lore but I don't remember any others.
@@jayc5373let’s also remember he literally fought on the Targaryen side in the war lol he’s the only one to defeat Robert. Also the Lannisters betrayed the Targaryens.
Idc what all the haters say, I enjoy the last two seasons. They should have been better and were way too rushed, but they were still good, in my opinion.
I agree. The rush screwed up the pacing but the story was still Strong
same i heard so many people complain about the last two seasons that when i finally got there i was like oh, these arent that
bad at all
Same people who likely still watch every fast and furious installation and are entertained.
I just ""dont get"" the last 3 episodes. Still interested to hear Mr and Ms October thoughts tho
the acting, music, cinematography, cgi, everything is great except the writing
1:03:45 I guess Gendry is a "moth" going to get some "eagles" 😆
I saw that same grass commercial but I wasn't sure if it was him. Glad someone else saw it too 😂
The area beyond the wall is shrinking due to the constant movement of the knight king and army. I think Benjin was bound to that area due to the magic from the children of the forest. So even if he did go with John, he would have to stay on the other side of the wall where the knight king is getting closer so his fate is sealed, really regardless to me. I am glad he showed up to help John escape.
I also think Ben-Jen realized that maybe the horse could carry 2 but at a slower pace and Jon with his clothes all wet in the freezing temps had to get back quickly.
I agree that’s what Benjen believes, but I actually think once Bran crossed the wall after being touched he can go past the wall. They don’t realize it though.
If that is true, i didn't know that he broke the spell if you will!@monlovchel
I think you didn't catch that Cercei is pregnant. That's why Jamie......
Hahaha, Mr Octobers fantastic re-enactment of the Red Wedding was funny af! 😂
Great reaction both as always, I cant believe you are nearing the end, cant wait for you to see the rest!
Gendry ran back to the wall, uphill through snow, narrated a letter explaining the situation, sent the raven, then Danaerys read and contemplated the letter, and managed to fly dragons beyond the wall, a round trip of roughly 4,000 miles according to the internet... all in the span of about 24-36 hours.
Its so funny you guys are normally so polite to eachother and say "sorry babe didnt mean to interrupt you" but at the end when the dragons eyes turned blue you both got so excited that you just talked over eachother for like a whole paragraph haha
We just get to excited 😆
I remember asking the same question- “where did they get the chains ?” 😅😅
Hardhome Depot! Lol
I think getting the chains is easier to try to imagine them getting, since Hardhome was a fishing town and probably not far..
But the dead who can't swim went under and tied up a dragon underwater with the chains. That's harder to understand.
@@jc296x Hardhome depot is hilarious 😂 that episode had so many plot holes it’s insane. They did dispose early that the dead can’t swim and then they do that?! ..my theory is that the night king turned the fish and commanded them to chain the dragon 😆 lazy writing indeed 😆
Haha Zombie Fish is a movie that needs to be made! I agree about the lazy writing... I got major "Titanic floating door" flashbacks when Benjen said "There's no time" for him to literally hop up on a horse! There's always going to be plot holes (like how does a guy in the very first scene in the very first show see WW's then desert, and get caught in Winterfell without having to show up at the wall first?) But yeah it did get worse as they had to cut corners while running out of time to move the plot forward. One - maybe two more seasons would have helped but even with all the rushed and lackluster writing, it's still probably the best show I've ever seen in my lifetime.
1:17:41 "No time??!"
Love this 🤣
Thanks for givin respect to my man Thoros of Myr , not many reactors do!
Gilly did in fact spill the beans
your hair looks very pretty today, well it always does, but like this style
The targeryans are atracted to eachother naturally. Its not stated, but it always happens. Its fair to reason what mr. Oct says.
Love the hair, Mrs. October.
Hey uncle Benjen i've been looking for y
oh shit he just died
For season 7 and 8, you could play a drinking game. Take a shot every time a main character is about to die but is saved at the last second.
I believe this is the first episode where I seriously questioned how time and distance work in GOT. Then I flashed back to Monty python and the question about the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow. Whatever, they apparently have bred super fast ravens in Westeros.
Last message to Randall Tarley... "Sam sends his regards".
Arya was telling Sansa to think. Sansa should know that beng the Lady of Winterfell would be the last thing Arya would want to be.
"Buy one get one free" funniest thing I've heard in quite a while. Enough to put me off fried food for a while.
Welcome to the age of Westeros Jet Packs.
The episode that kept all of us on our toes and at the edge of our seats...Just a TASTE of what the Night King and his white walkers that's heading into Westerose. Jon & Daenerys needs to get everyone ready 🔥🔥🔥
I think the best offsetting combination of advisors for Daenerys would have been Tyrion, Missandei and Jorah.
What difference does it make? She wouldn't listen to any of them.
yall underestimate dragonfire, it wasnt that they were burned alive, its more like they were vaporized, died instantly, id say better than beheading. theres still a few moments of life after a head rolls i assume
But...if they died instantly, why can we hear them screaming?
when you think about it, its really stupid that the night king didn't decide to kill the dragon that danaerys was sitting on, especially considering it wasn't moving
1:00:44 stinky finger not little😂😂😂🤘🇺🇸🤠
So north of the wall is filmed in Iceland which (second hand) is a very cool place to visit.
So here’s how dumb the stuff with Randyll Tarly is. He literally fought for Daenerys father and Tywin was the one that betrayed them. Also Daenerys was literally born on dragonstone. There is no loyalty for them to the lannisters.
Fun fact, Drogon and the others run like that on their hands because they’re actually Wyverns. Wyverns have 2 legs and 2 wings like they do on GoT.
Dragons, real Dragons have 4 legs and the wings
Real dragons...
@@ashscott6068 You know what I mean.
The word police over here 🚨
@@Bled420you’re literally being “mythical creature police” babe 🤭
So you prescribe to the valyrians crossbred wyverns with fire worms theory? LmL (David lightbringer) has some of the best asoiaf theory/symbolism stuff on youtube.
You are so wrong. Dragons come in differwnt anatomies. Havent you seen the chinese dragon? Or shenron? How to train your dragon?
You guy's are soo cute! ❤
Mr October is wearing some hoochie daddy short today 😂😂😂
@TheOctobersReact Also just wanted to say that during the show airing live this episode was spoiled for many fans. Not only was it a super painful episode someone hacked HBO and posted clips of the Night King killing Viserion (Dany’s dragon) all over RUclips, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. It totally spoiled the episode for me. However I didn’t know who would make it out alive so that was still an exciting episode.
uncle benjin couldnt get pass the wall anyways so he chose to try hold them off as much to let jon get a swift escape
Bahaha. You dropped my comment in the video nice. That earns a subscription. As long as we asking questions and correcting names.. Whats with Mrs. pronunciation of Gendry? The G is a hard G. Lol.
Cousins? Auntie/Nephew.
What's worse then fucking your brother? Fucking your brothers kid.
Loving Miss October's hair!!
I remember first time watching, when the army of the dead finally started closing in on the group, I was on the edge of my seat, but I wasn't cracking jokes about Jake Paul and Super Mario.
"The government...!" is craaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzyyy I'm lightheaded
I can't believe you're already at the end of season seven!!!
Re: Dany & Jeorah. In the books there is a chapter in book two when Dany is on her first ship and Jeorah actually kisses her. I cannot recall the exact details, but feel that she rejected him after that moment. I was glad they did not have this in the television adaptation because it did not sit right with me. However, I believe this was depicted in the series in the scene at Qarth when he reaches for her shoulder and she pulls away and tells him, "You are (being) too familiar." So, I don't think she is in love with him "that way." But, she definitely appreciates his support and guidance.
A song of Ice and Fire, a song of Stark and Targaryen...Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen
my theory for this episode to make more sense is:
the night king is also a greenseer (like bran or jojen, he has these kind of visions) & knew that a dragon would be there and stayed to get him (because he might come in handy in the future). otherwise it wouldn't really have made sense for him to stop his entire army & wait to get to a handful of people.
The Night King actor does the real stunts and is an actual stunt double
You guys are the best. Love all your reactions!
I’m just here to watch the reaction. I’m not here to tell them whether or not they should like or dislike the rest of the show.
❤❤❤Octobers!
Now I have a Dragon. Ho Ho Ho
Someone's pulling weight for Hair points Lolll
Danerys contradicted herself when she said she wasn’t there to murder and then burned a man and his son alive because he wouldn’t bend the knee. She became Cersei and didn’t even know it or probably even worse. The bullshit was real.
You dont get the connection, many dont. Drogon was supposed to be Rhaegar's Dragon passed from Rhaegar to this true born son. The dragon felt that blood
That wasnt it, nice try, still look stupid for saying it.
@@Milwaukheheit’s not that deep
Love your hair styled like that ❤
Gendry is a true Baratheon. Like his father, he prefers a battle axe. 💚
Okay, war hammer. But still.... 😂
The plot armor is strong this season
Did you hear when Cersei said she is pregnant!?
I'm very excited to see how you both view season 8. Alot of peoples dont like it. I think it all ends as it should have. It has the 2 best episodes of the run The Longest Night and The Bells. It is what is it is. You love it or hate it. Just waiting for your reaction.
Here we go. We're about to get deeep.
yes, arya would've been fighting more than sansa if she had been in her position. and I'm pretty sure she would've gotten herself killed that way. fighting and surviving aren't always the same thing. and both are equally valid options to choose.
it makes me mad when they say that dany wasn’t born in westeros because she literally was!! dragonstone is in westeros. barely a day journey from there to kings landing 😂
I don’t know if Jon heard that Dani was beautiful before he got to dragonstone, when he first saw her he gave her that gaze
My sweet summer children... tisk till
The only thing you'll ever know about the night king
Ben Jen just kind of forgot about the room on the horse" - D&D
@The Octobers - every episode had a different opening.. it showed the current layout of the (surviving) controlling factions.
5:15 ~ Yeah unless it's Theon doing it
"i dont pick up on those plot holes" "how did they get the chains around him? how did they get those chains?" i think youre learning lol
Sigh…’Hardhome Depot’ of course
They bring up an interesting point. The peeps who have problems with the later seasons tend to be the ones that read the books and know the lore inside and out. I read the books but I have not touched one of the books for over a decade. I am sorry, some of the issues peeps have with the later seasons just don't bother me all that much. I am fine with others having a problem with stuff in the show. What I hate is their attitude that "your a dumbass," if you don't. And especially how they love to "low key" spoil stuff and influence the reactor by constantly hinting at the things they hated. Just let the reactor get to the part you hate before you start trying to influence him to hate it.
My question about any show or movie is, "Was it entertaining?" I find the the last seasons are very entertaining. I am not looking for plot mistakes and illogical conclusions and faulty battle tactics like many others do, to find something entertaining or not.
Lots of people are easily entertained idiots, admitting it is half the battle.
@@Milwaukhehe See, this is exactly what I mean about people like you. I didn't say anything insulting about you guys. But of course, you took my bait, as I knew someone would, and proved my point by displaying what a pompous ass you are.
How does it feel to be outwitted by an idiot? LOL.
You think if someone doesn't have the same opinion that you do, then you will call them names in a juvenile attempt to look cool. Here's a thought. Why don't you grow up. And next time, come up with something original with your insults. That one is as old as you are immature.
I wonder, will you take the bait again? Dance for me puppet!!!!!!
It’s lines like “you don’t look much like your father. I suppose you favor your mother.” That let me know D&D didn’t have any knowledge of the books and just annoys me. One of the reasons Lady Stark and Thorne hated him so much was because he was a spitting image of his father. Lady Stark hated that he was while Rob looked more like her side. And it reminded Thorne every day that it was Ned that sent him to the Wall.
The spells in the wall would keep Benjin from being able to pass through
Your blood looking pure girl 😂
..in real life...the actress playing Cersei and actor playing Bronn had a relationship in the beginning seasons. Then they broke up and really disliked one another. That's why there are no scenes in later years of GOT when they are on the screen at the same time.
Hot take, the song of ice and fire for me is Jon. His mom is ice, his dad is fire.
Slinging like Brett farve 😂😂😂
53:17 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is about where i stop watching got reactions because the show starts to completely destroy characters, but you guys give good reactions and ill keep watching. Not a lot makes sense and you can really tell this isnt george's writing.
Btw, did you notice when jon resurfaces from the lake the wolfs eyes on his swords pommel opens?
So sad when the dragon is gone 😢
46:44 what Jon could’ve said to force Jorah to keep his family’s sword is ,that as king of the north he would require house Mormont to carry on the sword long claw to defend the north with…. Now thinking bout it ,would’ve been more honorable of Jon if he would’ve push Jorah more
Suggestion: turn the captions ON. When Jaime went to see Cersei, Clyburn was asking something to Cersei. The captions show the question but you can't hear anything. The question is important.
What was the question?
@@NiKiMa023 if I remember well, about Cersei taking some medicine for her condition (pregnant). Some reactors missed the question and they were doubting the whole pregnancy thing
@@fernandof.2225 ah ok. Thank you
Thoros was the only man who could outdrink King Robert
Why did Sansa send Brienne away? Why did one wight conveniently survive after the boss walker was killed? Why was Gendry able to run back so fast without stopping? Why did Dany have a winter outfit ready to go? Why didn't the men freeze to death after sitting there for so long? Why didn't the Night King whip up a frozen air storm to kill them? Why did Jon insist on staying behind and not get on Drogon? Why did the Night King target the flying dragon instead of the one sitting on the ground with all the men on it? Why didn't Benjen get on the horse? Why didn't Jon freeze to death after being smoking wet in the cold for so long? Why do Dany and Jon have feelings so quickly? Why did Arya pretend like she was going to kill Sansa? Why did the White Walkers have giant chains ready? Why was this episode so monumentally dumb?
Why is the thumbnail from season 8
S7 is still good, if a little rushed. S8... interesting to hear your take
Mate that British accent is hilarious! From UK 🤣✌
YEE got the akcent goindeer. bloody brilliant!
The cat and mouse with Arya and Liittle Finger was rushed. If we had 10 episodes vs 7 this would have played out better. Still, I did enjoy season 7.
THYRION WORST HAND
Plot armor and other stupid things really start to show now. Jamie should be dead from drowning. No way he could have swam to the surface wearing that plate armor even with Bronns help. And now the concept of distance has gone by the way side. Gendry can run at warp speed to East Watch By The Sea to tell Davos to send a raven to Dany. And the Raven can fly at warp speed within a day to Dragonstone. Not only can ravens fly at warp speed, but so can dragons. Dany arrives the next day and to top it off, she knows where they're at, considering how vast the North really is, she just happens to find them in the middle of nowhere. But episode 6 did have some decent moments with the joking around in Jons party and the convo between Jon and Jorah about the Mormont family sword. If you want to visit the "North" you'll have to book passage to Iceland where this was filmed. Sad to see a dragon die.
23:30 Gendry is wrong. They didnt trust eachother. Gendry's Dad used to kill Jon's dad in his dreams every night.
survivor sounds like a cool show. have you guys ever heard of wheel of fortune or the simpsons? those are really good shows too.
😄
I hate how many time Jon just took to get on drogon, I never liked him he was slow for everything lol
10 MINUTE GANG GANG
This is why it's not a good idea to watch the lore videos. You know more than you should already
Yeah, lol, I reacted about the same way when I saw the army of the dead dragging the dragon out of the water. My first thought; Wait a minute... where the hell did they get those gigantic chains? And better yet... Why drag it out at all when he can raise anything in the area that's dead? Why not just bring it back and let it crawl out? Lol. Unfortunately this is just one of the many things some people found almost painfully stupid in these last couple seasons, but it's really best to just ignore it and take it for what it is. Still one of my favorite shows of all time.
Essa foi uma das piores reações que eu já vi desse ep
Jon trying to be a hero and cost Dany lost her dragon is the most stupidest thing in the show.
Vikings TV show is sooooooo much better. Pleeeeeease check it out
