@@ScottJund Rust does not cause tetanus. Misconception. > Bacteria that live in soil and feces cause tetanus. But the places where tetanus show up - rotting leaves, dirt, manure - are typically the same places where rusty objects turn up. And a puncture wound from a rusty nail gives the bacteria a way to get into your bloodstream.
Honestly, I prefer watching your DbD videos over other content creators, because they're discussion videos. Very few DbD creators actually want to delve into a in-depth discussion over patches, killers, perks, game modes, etc. So, please, keep the discussion vids coming! Thanks for all the fun content over the years, Scott!
True, sometimes I just don't wanna watch gameplay so I close my eyes on the bed and keep listening to a new discussion video like it is a small podcast
At the start of the video I thought it was pretty weird how Scott said you could trace his whole Twitch career back to the JFK assassination but the way he really went in depth definitely convinced me how serendipitous some moments in time can be. But seriously, congratulations Scott! I first came across your content through Otz and his Sandbag With Friends videos. I tend to fall on and off DBD players a lot but you and Otz are two that I've always kept up with, even for the non-DBD content.
For some fucking reason, I keep having dreams where I casually find Scott on the street or whatever. And it turned into an inside dream joke where we keep going "huh, we find each other again"
I once for an ESL assignment had to write about "what I did in my vacations" and it's valid to make up random shit for those so I just wrote about my best pal Scott Jund and I meeting up and going to a Weezer concert lol
It's actually really nice to hear Scott talk about his accomplishments and take this time to talk about his past. I've only been subscribed for a few years but glad to be here for it
Scott, I love this video. Acknowledging our webs and how they’ve all formed so neat and chaotically is the best, especially bc I relate so hard to how just being a part of a game community can change the outlook of your life and relationships. After all, we are amidst strange beings, in a strange land, with heroes phasing in and out of worlds. But we take this white soapstone ass technology and engage in jolly cooperation. Thanks for the channel, it’s nice to hear a bit more of your story
NO WAY you made torture chamber 3!? Bro I played that so much when I was younger, it was when I started getting desensitized from gore in games and I kinda had an obsession with it, I think it was more along the lines of I was a kid playing a game that was really violent
Every now and then I'm forced to stop and think about your progress, you are easily the most casual and lax streamer and content creator I know, and it feels like you're constantly stumbling your way into small successes. Just keep tripping over shit and making it work man, always loved your content.
You da realest Scott. I stopped gaming this year to focus on my mental health as it became too consumptive of a habit. So too went all the gaming news feeds and content creators I used to be plugged into 24/7. But I always enjoy your videos even now as a retired DBD player of many years. You’re calm and genuine with poignant perspectives, I hope life treats you well and things keep getting better all the time for you and Jen
All my homies hate cry Always remember Russ, Scott, Snake. I’ve been here since late night, took years off (cuz to hell with cry), now I’m back thanks to love of dbd
It's always funny to me hearing people with similar life experiences. I went to college for all of 2 semesters and when I realized that all the classes I could take were mantadory bs classes I didn't want, I dropped out and felt immediately so much better. Either way, it was interesting learning more about your past Scott, glad you're where you are today!
As someone who’s currently majoring in computer engineering, it’s nice to see you seem to be doing well despite leaving that behind. I’m currently in my third year and like you I feel like I’m not getting to learn what I actually want. I’m currently in a data structures class, so I’m getting some coding experience, but it’s so hard to keep up with everything else, and it doesn’t feel worth it at times. I really just want to be a voice actor, which I’ve been doing professionally for 2 years, but making that my full time job might not be financially viable, so I feel kinda stuck. I’m sure it’ll work out though. No matter what I’m gonna make sure I’m happy, it’s just hard to juggle my passions so much. Thanks for all of your content dude, and thanks for being an inspiration to me.
Finally Scott acknowledges the vital impact of Through the Portal. None of us would have been here today if it wasn’t for that masterpiece. The sequel will be an announcement of the ages
Found you through Dark Souls 2 and especially Dark Souls 3. Miss those times when life was simpler, but glad to hear your origin story, and happier that you are doing well. Here's to hopefully more stories like this in the future.
I’ve been enjoying watching you for several years. Not much of a twitch watcher but thanks for the hours upon hours of content Scott, I’ll happily keep watching
I first found you through your first dbd compilation videos, and you have been a continued source of joy for myself and many others since then, thank YOU scott!
Hey, Scoot. I still remember the first video I ever seen from you. Tips for Dark Souls 3 PvP. This video saved my outlook on souls pvp. Learning about hyper armor and pivoting helped me to understand and fall in love with the souls series. That's not why I'm commenting though. I'm here to say thank you. I went through some garb in late high school into early adulthood. Your videos and your streams, but mostly, you just being you, helped me get through some dumb shit in life. Thank you very much and I bet I can speak for many when I say "Much love"
Crazy to think about how long I've been watching This Guy On The Internet. I've found you through Wake, and stuck around ever since. Sucks thinking about Cry after everything came out about him, but if nothing else, I'm glad I was at least able to find your stuff through him. Always looked forward to the LNC streams, and I'm glad I stuck around with everyone else individually. Weird how the internet works
You made my childhood with the torture chamber game and that Amnesia mod. I didn’t delve too deep into the creator of anything but wow, to run into you like this when watching you go into DBD discussions for many years is crazy. Keep it up Scott!
I've watched you since the old days of LNC, and I always loved the energy you brought to the streams, you, Russ, and Snake. TTT and Prop Hunt nights were bangers. It's great to see how far you've come and learn more about what brought you to this point, it really harkens back to the days of Draw My Life videos. Absolutely adorable the way you met Jen. Keep killin' it, Scott.
How you met Jen is such an awesome story, I loved this video, it’s always cool to know how RUclipsrs and streamers you like started. I’m really happy for you Scott, getting married, moving to your own home, getting over depression, and finally being able to actually do something with your health after years of misery and visiting hundreds of doctors (that I know what it feels like) I’m really glad all those things happens to you and I hope it only gets better for you because you’re an awesome dude Scott! (Make music again pls)
Its really cool to hear the backstory! and as someone who was inspired by Late Night to get into game development (i would sit up until the morning watching you guys while practicing art and animation) You inspired me into going to college for Game development, then moving on to University to get a degree in game design, and now i have worked on a bunch of big titles and im still currently working as a game artist for the past 6 years 🎉 it's funny how life works out and how quickly the time passes. Was really cool to hear you also dabbled in game development before streaming 🎉
HOL UP., you were the one that made Cloud to Ground Lightning?! I used to play that so much as a kid cause I absolutely loved the AC130 mission back during the MW2 days! Honestly man that's crazy that you unknowingly were one of the highlights of my childhood right there; its awesome how far you have come and are now doing something you enjoy and making a living off of Thank you for bringing joy to mine and many others childhoods and the amazing content you keep on making, I hope all goes well and you keep doing what you love now and far in the future ^^
I started watching you and Otz back in the Dark Souls 3 days. Never played a game of dbd in my life and don't intend to, yet I still continue to watch the both of you after all these years.
Such a nice and motivating story. Happy for you Scott. I am in the same shit as you were in college. Went for computer science, then for the first 2 years we haven't done anything related to it. By 3rd year, my desire to finish and/or at least keep going was 0, but my parents wouldn't let me quit whatsoever. So here I am, 2 years later, still stuck in year 4, unable to graduate and an income that barely allows me to survive. Went through depression myself and I am still not over it, but I am better now and I will try my best this year to finally finish this college then either change my life 180 degrees or keep going in this durection, maybe the motivation would eventually come back
I really appreciate you Scott, I'm not a regular to the stream or the dbd community anymore but is nice knowing that you're around to go watch and enjoy your rambles and silliness
'Bout halfway through the video right now and i gotta say I'm very happy for you Scott. I just graduated high school a few months ago and with most of my close friends going to college and having a clear plan A B and C i feel at times like I'm left behind in the world and won't accomplish anything. I do streaming every few days for fun but with a raw fistful of anxiety i can't bring myself to do it anymore consistently. Recently had a very awakening meditation session that kicked me into high productive gear as I'm going kinda crazy 3d modeling and editing a few random side projects. But i can feel this chad blitz coming to an end. Once again feeling like all i'm doing is killing time till something bad enough in my life will come and shake it all up. Hearing the stuff you went through and how you've been able to carve out a comfortable spot of success is very inspiring. I might just stream tonight
I really enjoy learning more about my favorite content creators, like it kinda feels like "lore" but it's also just interesting to hear about a person's life in general. It's also great to contrast some things I knew with more info, I feel like every month I learn of a new place/game/video/community that has Scott's name somewhere.
I remember watching you on dark souls back in highschool, your content has been consistently some of my favorite videos to go back to genuinely my favorite dark souls video is Giant Dad Digest
I was always curious as into how you got started with everything when you referenced how people knew you for dark souls in a video once (I found your channel through dbd) so thanks for this video it was dope to listen to and relatable as I'm currently going through that college state of my life. Wishing you the best Scott
I also really love thinking about chains of events like that. I realized recently that probably 95% or more of my friends online I actually wouldn’t have met without DBD. Even people I didn’t meet through that game, I met through someone else that I met through DBD, or something like that. It’s crazy how one thing can have such a huge impact on your life.
New to your channel but I will echo what others have said. I really enjoy that you have more in depth discussions about the patch, perks, killers, meta, etc
I found you back in 2013/2014 during LNC and started being a viewer of everyone involved (more of a lurker as I don't comment too often since I'm working while watching). But after things went down the way they did, I mostly watch your content especially since Elden Ring released shortly after all of that. Now, I tune into most of your streams while I work regardless of what game it is!
Been watching since your Best of 2020 and didn't know too much about your past so this video is really cool to learn about your past and what led you to here now
love your stuff scott! i started watching you in like 2018 in a rough part of my life (i was playing dbd) and ive quit since then, but i still follow you and zubat, watch every single one of your videos with no intention of playing dbd again
I’ve watched you for years man. Just now getting back into the game after a 3 year break, glad to see you’re still making content and that you’re still cool.
Happy for you man. I found your channel probably 2 years ago, when I was getting into dbd. And I think since I’ve probably only ever missed a handful of uploads. YT knows me so well it’s always the first video when I open the app to watch when you have a new upload. Congrats on all your success
Scott, I've been watching almost every single one of your (DBD) videos since some time in 2020, I believe, and this was my favourite. It provided some fantastic context of who Scott Jund is. Thank you:)
My best friend got me into DBD and he showed me one compilation video from you 5 years ago and I remember seeing you wearing a Huntress Mask doing a mini court ruling and that drew me in. You deserve the twitch reward. Thanks for all your entertainment
I've gotten into your content since the Late Night days and I'm very happy that you made it all the way to here and how much your twitch channel has grown. The one biggest factor during the days you played BR games like H1Z1 back then, was the one game "The Culling." The early stages of that game were some of the best streams that I've watched. It's still sad that the game kept nerfing everything later on and that you stopped playing it because of the nerfs, along with the game now being discontinued. Other than that, I still dearly enjoy your discussions on fun topics that chat brings in during your streams and it's pretty chill to tune into. Love ya Jund!
Dude literally wtf so many cool thing about your past! I had no idea and hearing all this is actually amazing and I'm glad you got that trophy! I really do think it is a good symbol of your accomplishments and you deserve it imo! Much love from Canada💜, keep the good shit comin'!
Been watching your content for around 3 years, and I always find myself returning or watching some of your older dbd vids. Love your vids and love ya Scott.
Congrats on the award Scott. Started watching you and Snake in the DS2 days, I've never been super interested in DBD but I've always enjoyed the game design discussions. I knew about your amnesia maps but the fact you worked on Dota 1 is crazy, what heroes did you develop?
i didnt start watching you till dbd (i wasnt into dark souls or for honor), i started watching with your first of the daylight videos and your "biggest problems with dbd" discussion videos and idk, i cant really explain it but i really like your style of content!
I'll never forget DamnNoHTML and the shitposts you made lmao. Been watching since 2014 and I'm forever grateful to the LNC days for giving me the best content on Saturday nights. I'll keep on watching till you stop uploading dude. Keep up the great work Scott! :D
Stick figure fights on the DSi flipnote studio was my equivalent, unfortunately I wasn't at the age where I was aware of the wider world of the internet and the depth of those kinds of communities
I used to watch every single LNC stream… I loved y’all back then. I’m so sad how things turned out, you guys would’ve still be my main gang to this day.
Been here since the good old narrated not duels of dark souls three. Very few RUclipsrs have the sincerity and comedic attitude Scott does, and I appreciate every video that comes out on this channel.
I used to play dbd 3 years ago that's when I somehow discovered your channel but even though I stopped playing dbd In those 3 years I kept watching your videos because I enjoyed your personality and your perspective on things, no matter what you do Scott I'll always stick around and support you. Love from the inhospitable deserts of Saudi Arabia
Damn was not expecting the video to be this but I respect it a lot. Did you need to do this? No but ya did. For someone like me who has been keeping up with you most of your dbd youtube days, only in this past year or so have I actually been catching your twitch streams a bit more. So I do appreciate the occasional life update videos you tend to put out, stuff you may have casually discussed in streams I've missed. You're my go to guy for dbd content these days so keep up the good work scoot❤ Edit: didn't know that's how you met your wife that's awesome😂
Discovered you through the Late Night streams and enjoyed your way of playing games. Also the way you interact with your chat is really nice and engaging. So I ended up sticking around, even when you moved to dbd (a game I still to this day dont really understand how it works. I get the basic premise, but not all the mechanics). I watch streamers based more on their personality than what they are playing. Thank you for many years of entertainment
For a second I thought Scott was going to describe how I went to go eat ramen on a rainy day then had to use the restroom and got bored while sitting on the toilet and decided to load up RUclips
I guess I've secretly been a fan for longer than I thought! I remember playing that flash game when I was in middle school 😂 been watching you since like 2019, great creator
Wait if you went to Florida State University… does that make Scott a Florida man? All jokes aside, I can’t believe I’ve been watching your videos on dbd for years. Listening to your tome lore was interesting from where you started and where you are now. I can’t wait to see how the future goes with your videos since for me, it’s almost a podcast for me just listening and enjoying your discussions. :)
I’m someone that has very little investment into you but this video I was so interested in your story I mean when I can’t up with dbd content I watch your videos from time to time but don’t put a personality to the news/topic Glad to know a bit more about you and I’m the same way about prestigious awards… We have so much history, all of us, being 36 and been creating since I was 13 ( short films with a vhs recorder ) The depth gives us insight So happy for you on that trophy, I love it and love that you love it. Your the one that deserved it.
Your channel was just randomly recommended to me one day a couple years ago. I've been following Jendenise's stream for years, and it wasn't until this video that I realized you two were married. I just went to go check your Twitch streams and sure enough you're SWFing together right now. I honestly had no idea before now, never made the connection. My mind is blown
I've been here since the DamnNoHtml days with Dark Souls 3. It's an honor to have been with you all the way. Your guides and shitposts have never disappointed me and I appreciate your honesty and logical approach to things.
reading comments u guys are very nice ty

I really enjoy learning more about my favorite content creators, like it kinda feels like "lore" but it's also just interesting to hear about a person's life in general.
It's also great to contrast some things I knew with more info, I feel like every month I learn of a new place/game/video/community that has Scott's name somewhere.
A SCOURGE a this community Scott, a true BLIGHT. Never change Mr noHTML
All i can is appreciate your vidoes man. Glad you had amnesia in 2010
As someone who found you through DBD this was a very cool watch.
Thanks!
Hope you have another decade of a great time Scott. And whenever you choose to hand the boots, best of luck to the next step of your life.
Been watching since your Best of 2020 and didn't know too much about your past so this video is really cool to learn about your past and what led you to here now
Thank you for sharing your story Scott, this was a really wholesome watch
Love the humor and deep discussions Scott. It's always a pleasure hearing your thoughts. You're one of the DBD Mount Rushmore's faces for me
love your stuff scott! i started watching you in like 2018 in a rough part of my life (i was playing dbd) and ive quit since then, but i still follow you and zubat, watch every single one of your videos with no intention of playing dbd again
thank you for sharing this! I love you scott and I am thankful that we have you in this community. I really do appreciate you lots.
I’ve watched you for years man. Just now getting back into the game after a 3 year break, glad to see you’re still making content and that you’re still cool.
I saw Forrest Gump for the first time a few weeks ago and the description is accurate, this is basically the same thing
Thank you:)
I never knew so much about you, scott. Wishing you all the best.
My best friend got me into DBD and he showed me one compilation video from you 5 years ago and I remember seeing you wearing a Huntress Mask doing a mini court ruling and that drew me in. You deserve the twitch reward. Thanks for all your entertainment
Granted I've since made a new YT account, but I've been a follower since the DS PVP / DamnNoHTML days.
I don't always agree with you on things, but glad you're here
Dude literally wtf so many cool thing about your past! I had no idea and hearing all this is actually amazing and I'm glad you got that trophy! I really do think it is a good symbol of your accomplishments and you deserve it imo! Much love from Canada💜, keep the good shit comin'!
I'm sharing a similar uni life to you and even if it is depressing hearing someone like you say you went through the same is motivating.
I only started watching your content about a year ago so it was cool to get your backstory. Looking forward to some more man with sword coming up.
That story of how you met Jen is so cute, and looking at how much you both grew as a couple to the point that you're married now is awesome
You're just a good dude Scott. Thanks for giving me something to watch during dinner.
I've been watching ever since your explainer on the DS2 netcode. Ive never played DBD but i watch most of your videos on it. Thanks for doing this :)
from getting parried to getting married, such a heartwarming story
Been here since the good old narrated not duels of dark souls three. Very few RUclipsrs have the sincerity and comedic attitude Scott does, and I appreciate every video that comes out on this channel.
I used to play dbd 3 years ago that's when I somehow discovered your channel but even though I stopped playing dbd In those 3 years I kept watching your videos because I enjoyed your personality and your perspective on things, no matter what you do Scott I'll always stick around and support you.
Love from the inhospitable deserts of Saudi Arabia
I am so happy we could all be here and witness this together
Damn was not expecting the video to be this but I respect it a lot. Did you need to do this? No but ya did. For someone like me who has been keeping up with you most of your dbd youtube days, only in this past year or so have I actually been catching your twitch streams a bit more. So I do appreciate the occasional life update videos you tend to put out, stuff you may have casually discussed in streams I've missed. You're my go to guy for dbd content these days so keep up the good work scoot❤
Edit: didn't know that's how you met your wife that's awesome😂
Discovered you through the Late Night streams and enjoyed your way of playing games. Also the way you interact with your chat is really nice and engaging. So I ended up sticking around, even when you moved to dbd (a game I still to this day dont really understand how it works. I get the basic premise, but not all the mechanics).
I watch streamers based more on their personality than what they are playing.
Thank you for many years of entertainment
For a second I thought Scott was going to describe how I went to go eat ramen on a rainy day then had to use the restroom and got bored while sitting on the toilet and decided to load up RUclips
Been watching since Dark Souls 2 pvp duel videos. Don't even play DBD but you're entertaining and make the videos interesting.
Your narrated thought duels in DS3/ER is still the most insightful souls pvp content out there
I guess I've secretly been a fan for longer than I thought!
I’m someone that has very little investment into you but this video I was so interested in your story
I mean when I can’t up with dbd content I watch your videos from time to time but don’t put a personality to the news/topic
Glad to know a bit more about you and I’m the same way about prestigious awards…
We have so much history, all of us, being 36 and been creating since I was 13 ( short films with a vhs recorder )
The depth gives us insight
So happy for you on that trophy, I love it and love that you love it.
Your the one that deserved it.
This is like a draw my life level of story. Proud of you buddy.
I found you through For Honor and stayed. The content may change but the person is why we watch.
Much love Scott. Grateful for you and the amazing content you put out.
crazy that i've been watching for nearly half my life span at this point, thanks for keeping us entertained
Your guides and shitposts have never disappointed me and I appreciate your honesty and logical approach to things.
amnesia is goated, i remember playing different custom stories all day every day during middle school summer holidays
I don't even like dbd and still been watching you and Otz's content ever since the dark souls days
Love you, love this community
