I have been using the Cool Blonde one to help my transition to gray , and it’s working very well . I think it lasts about 4-5 shampoos , 2 weeks for me. I’m going to switch to the Platinum one and then a silver shade as my hair grows in more . I agree it makes the hair very soft and smooth like a deep conditioning mask . Thanks for the review.

I feel there is not a lot of information available when it comes to caring for gray/silver hair & your content is very helpful. I am desperate for information on caring for my extremely fine, Caucasian, semi straight naturally gray hair. A lot of the info I find seems to assume everybody with gray hair has coarse, wavy / curly hair. More gray haired ladies need to speak up & help out their fellow silver sisters! Thank you again!

Ive used the Platinum Pearl. It is beautiful but my hair is 100% Platinum and Natural Platinum. I am or was, a Ginger. When I became ill I lost my hair, no shocker there, and my hair grew back in Platinum!!! I guess I shouldn’t be shocked as my Daddy was Platinum. He looked like Kenny Rogers (When he was doing movies/songs with Dolly Parton just so you have an idea as he changed so much as he got older, but Daddy had that Platinum WHITE and it was beautiful!) and my Mom has Platinum hair now. I guess I would have naturally had Platinum hair due to genetics I just never would have happened as young as i was. SO, I just left it as I was not looking forward to MORE chemicals in/on my body especially keeping my roots up if I went to the color I had at birth. So, I just learned to LOVE my Platinum Hair.
The Platinum Pearl is a REALLY pretty gloss on Platinum hair. DO give it a try!

I have dyed blonde hair, which i would like to let my hair grow out to the gray it is naturally, which colour should i use to turn the blonde to the gray
Hi Elanderson, Le Color gloss won’t change blonde (or any other color) to gray. 😔
I just used this for my bleached and toned balayage… DO NOT LEAVE ON LONGER THAN 5-10 minutes. OTHERWISE YOUR POROUS HAIR WILL TAKE ON THE PURPLE HUE…. Yeah i panicked but what worked getting it immediately put was Dawn Dish soap and baking soda paste. I had no clarifying shampoo to help strip the color at home. So i made a paste with the dawn with baking soda to create a paste that was not runny. I lathered that into my hair and lathered over and over again applying a squirt of dawn (blue one) every now and then and it came out!
So use it and leave in for several minutes. Natural blondes (10) bleached blonde (5) min.
Whats it like over colored hair if you are just starting to transition?
Hi Melina! I’ve never used it on hair that has been colored but I pinned a comment where Carol Michelle shares her experience using it as she transitions to gray hair-she’s been happy with the results. I’ve also seen photos she has posted on Instagram and it looks beautiful.

Hi Merrian. After using it, it makes my hair (which can be a litlte bit dry if I don't add oil and deep condition)VERY silky soft and shiny.
What color was it before?
My hair is white on top (hair near the nape of my neck is dark brown) but once I used this my white hair looked more silvery (brown stayed the same color). The box says it will add a silver finish to your hair.

Do you know if they have an even darker one?
@lf9341 They have one slightly darker than the Silver White, which is just called Silver, and they also have one darker than the Silver called Silver Slate.
Just found you! Thnx for taking the time to teach us about this product...it's hard to accept the new look, especially after dying it blonde for SO long! I don't want to dye it anymore, but this would give me some new shine, and less dullness. Love your look!!
I had beautiful grey silver hair until I used this product. It totally ruined my hair. It turn the ends of my hair a weird color and I got a perm two weeks later now about 3 in of the ends are light brown it's awful don't use it😭
It washes right out so I don’t understand what happened to you. Getting a perm is probably what messed up your hair. IT could not have messed up your hair as you describe. What color did you use?
