I love that folks can dive into a concert, pick out one song from the setlist and it be a strong enough performance to be treated as a standalone for reaction purposes. It is a real credit to the professionalism of P, of his bands, his sound engineers, etc right down the line. And it is something an audience just took for granted. I know I did. We were being rained on with absolute mastery of his craft and two songs in, we just took it for granted for the whole evening. The way P wanted it, I suppose.
I love watching your reactions to P’s songs. Your face emotes exactly how I feel when I listen and watch P in action. He is so damn good. It’s hard to articulate just how much of a musical genius he was. I miss his presence here on earth so much, but I am so eternally grateful that he left us with so much of himself on vinyl and video. Love love love this. ❤
Prince controls the tempo slow down on Shhhh with just his voice. It was too fast and he pushed until it reached the tempo he wanted. The man was a master of live performances.
My favourite version of Shhh live! Watch ‘A Question if U/The One from the same concert…it’s fire 🔥🔥🔥

One of my favorites. I love how Rhonda is just chilling on the couch while she does her bass line. Thank you for keeping him alive.
Thank you for watching.
This is one of my favorite songs and performances. 💜

Love D.M.S.R.--I think from this same Detroit show.
Thanks for joining me.
Love the Detroit show during this tour - your analysis on this one is right on point, IMO.
