If you watch his performance at the taylor hawkins tribute you'll see that all his foo uncles look over him , make him feel confortable. Sure Dave is a mentor for him and he's the first one to understand what a rough gem Shane is!
He's an awesome combinaison between Taylor talent and Dave raw energy..i didn't think that was possible. I hope he will be their drummer someday cause he fits so well with the band. That kid gonna go very very far for sure!

It's quite literally unbelievable what Dave has had to endure in his life.

Shane is a splitting image of his Dad on those drums. He grew up with him and Grohl, and you know he was raised listening to Peart and Rush. This kid is already a beast and he's only going to get better.

I believe this is not circumstances, kid is having a big talent, he can perform by his own band, if not for the tragic death of Taylor, he can be popular drummer, but not so fast, which is better for mental health, instead of a lot of attention from one performance.

Though I do agree he is the obvious choice to replace Taylor, the Foo Fighters are known for having an insane touring schedule compared to most bands. Until he is a little older I think it would at least be dope to allow him to join on some of the concerts though, if he wants to.
You can definitely tell who Shane's father was. He is an amazing drummer. He learned from the greatest that's for sure. Taylor is smiling down from above.
