Lovely house, I could happily live in that basement, it's huge, if you could add access to the outside and add a kitchen into that bay it would be fab.
I love the extended island into a dining area. It’s something I would love in my home. The pantry is perfect, but I would add frosted doors just to keep the mess hidden. A minor thing, but I really dislike the cabinet hardware. But I love the layout!
This craftsman house, Timothy, is just different!! Very sturdy!! Like the entrance way with the bricks on both sides! Real big and quite spacious!! Just a little too many windows!! But very Impressive to look at!! Thank You for sharing this with us!!
Love this home and all the windows!! And you don't see a staircase as soon as you walk in! It does need some color on the walls and rain showers in bathrooms. But I could live here.
A lovely home but the noise in the basement was too heavy to be next to the fifth bedroom in my opinion. I did however agree with you on the bathroom tile, it really looked good.
I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. I would probably turn the flex room into a library. I would probably finish out the basement into an apartment. I love all the built-ins throughout.❤❤❤❤❤
I didn't like the outside of the house. But inside it's a completely different matter. very good layout and design. Modern kitchen, but I would remove the gas stove from the island.
Timmothy, if you take note of all these homes you've toured they are almost clones of each other in the living, dining and kitchen area. Would be nice to truly see something different and more varried in design. Pretty bad when a blind person could Walk into most of the homes in several states you've toured and walk the downstairs plan and know where they are. The architects need better schooling I Think.
I have a question, in the office there were books on the shelf but they were backwards. I couldn't read the titles! I've noticed this in other home tours. Why do they do this? Is there a reason? You could probably make something up, I'm gullible. You missed commenting on the shower surround in the primary bath, it was really neat. I liked the extended counter for eating. I have something similar in my kitchen but the counter is dropped so you can use regular height chairs. Ahh, yes the basement, if the bedroom and bath could be made into a 2nd primary suite I would turn the rest of the space into a library/office/cosy reading room. This house, as nice as it is, is NOT a Craftsman Style home even in the contemporary sense. There are no craftsmanship details in this home related to the Craftsman Style. It is straight up a Modern Contemporary home with Neo-Midcentury inspiration.
I'd choose a different fireplace style and just too much glass in the living room and dining area no place for certain pieces of furniture especially the dining area. The kitchen is nice but not sure I'd want the huge counter kitchen island.
They may call that Craftsman, but it looks more modern to me! 🤷♀️

I like seeing things decorated and like you said sometimes you see things you might not have thought of and I've used some ideas I've seen.

Bright and spacious. The Floorplan is decent. The interior design though (staging) is immaculate!
